Staying Centered
I see a lot of golfers
hurt their chances of
making solid contact
because of improper
shoulder rotation. The

comes when the golfer
tries to turn his left shoulder over
his right shoe in an attempt at mak-

the result is a level shoulder turn

your right side, but your head has
drifted a foot off the ball in the pro-

Northern Chapter PGA

Freedom Friday -
Making a Difference
One of the many Northern Chapter, PGA community involvements includes
a top priority in supporting the Men and Women in Uniform. Over the past
two years the Golf Professionals of the Northern Chapter, PGA have recog-
nized our military by hosting complimentary golf invitations such as this

military were invited to area golf clubs to enjoy a day of golf on some the
best courses in North Florida.

Another Chapter success story has been the Chapter’s involvement in rais-
ing more than $30,000 in support of Patriot Golf Day and the Folds of Hon-
ors Foundation helping those left behind. The Northern Chapter is steadfast
on this priority and will continue to be a force behind this drive.

Along with these efforts the Northern Chapter continues to do more and
has taken on another initiative to spread the word to Remember the Troops.
Staff at NAS Jacksonville.

In our day-to-day lives through the hustle and bustle it’s easy to forget
about those who are making the greatest sacrifice by being on the front line
and protecting our interests.

A way to make us remember is through a symbolic reminder. It’s simple, on

each and every Friday the Northern Chapter PGA Professionals are asking
you to wear a RED shirt to the golf course or to work spreading the reminder
