    Defensive Calls

    1. Front : BASE does not need to be stated, just the rest.

    2. Stunt: Tell the Nose and two Ends what to do.

    3. Pressure (Blitz): Linebackers are involved in a pressure and the action.

    4. Coverage: zone responsibility for those who are not hitting it.

    Example:

    ANGLE WHIP 3

    BASE = No front call equals automatic Base.

    ANGLE = Nose, and two Ends angle away from the Knight.

    WHIP = Whip Linebacker hits the open gap to the left or right of the End.

    3 = Cover Three

    HUDDLE: M *No huddle needed if everyone sees signals

    Knight Calls:

    Knight knows where to align versus offensive formation, and he will


    make a “Knight Left or Right” call, which will be echoed by the
    Linebackers so that the Nose and Ends can hear and carry out their
    Stunt action.
