A Theory on Electricity and God’s Power

A scientific video called Thunderbolts of the Gods explains how the Electric Universe theory highlights the importance of
electricity throughout the Universe. It is based on the recognition of existing natural electrical phenomena (eg. lightning, St
Elmo's Fire), and the known properties of plasmas (ionized "gases") which make up 99.999% of the visible universe, and react
strongly to electro-magnetic fields. [www.electricuniverse.info]

The Electric Universe model is a coherent "Big Picture" of our situation in the universe, spanning many disciplines. It highlights
repeated electrical patterns at all scales that enable laboratory experiments to explain the strange, energetic events seen,
for example, in deep space, on the Sun, and on Jupiter's moon, Io. The Electric Universe works backward in time using
observations rather than forward from some idealised theoretical beginning. It provides simple answers to problems that are
now clothed in fashionable metaphysics and mysticism. It is more interdisciplinary and inclusive of information than any prior
cosmology. It points to practical possibilities far beyond the limits set by current science.

The Electric Universe model grew out of a broad interdisciplinary approach to science. It is not a technique taught in
universities. The Electric Universe is based more on observations and experiment than abstract theory. It recognizes
connections between diverse disciplines. It concludes that the crucial requirement for understanding the universe is to take
fully into account the basic electrical nature of atoms and their interactions. Strangely, this is not the case in conventional
cosmology where weaker magnetism and the infinitely weaker force of gravity rule the cosmos. Such a simplification may
suit a theoretical physics based on electrical neutrality of matter in Earthly laboratories but it does not apply in space where
plasma dominates. [www.holoscience.com]

Those presenting the theory have scientific and mythological backgrounds which I do not study. My interest is based in the
belief that God created the universe and He exists everywhere in it - omnipresence. The scientists do not know where the
electricity comes from but they are actively trying to find out. I already know its source. So that started my search to find the
connection of electricity to God besides the obvious that He is the creator. (Their research is disproving the Big Bang theory,
as well.)

This led me to researching electricity and electrons which is an elementary particle, meaning they cannot be broken down
further. This information will be important later. I began searching out any articles relating electricity and God. Not much is too
be found, though. I did find out that etymology of electrons and electricity came from the word "amber."

I searched the Bible and found amber is mentioned only in the book of Ezekiel. Amber in Hebrew is chashmal which has
been translated to mean glowing metal, amber or bronze in our English Bibles. When it is mentioned in Ezekiel 1 it is directly
associated with the glory and/or presence of God.

Ezekiel 1:4 (NLT) "As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed
with lightning and shone with brilliant light. There was fire inside the cloud, and in the middle of the fire glowed something like
gleaming amber (chashmal)."

Basically, my theory is that chashmal is a descriptive word for or element of the glory, power or Spirit of God. This would
mean that the meaning of Isaiah 6:3 is more significant:
"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory."

Literally every atom of creation has electrons, electricity or chashmal of God. So, if electrons are literally the power of God
holding the very fabric of earth together you can see why they cannot be broken down as mentioned earlier. Electrons can not
be destroyed only changed to another form of energy.

I also find it interesting that many people explain the touch of God or his manifest presence as "electric" or having the feeling
of electricity going through them. Prophetic minister John Paul Jackson explained his translative trip to the throne room of
God as being aware of everything within him on the sub-atomic level. Another prophetic minister, Bruce Allen has made
similar comments upon being translated to the throne room of God. It may be that entering into the presence of God heightens
the "electron" glory of God already residing our bodies.
It is to be noted that chashmal is the modern Israeli Hebrew word for electricity, as well. [onthemainline.blogspot.com]

History of Electricity
Ancient cultures around the Mediterranean knew that certain objects, such as rods of amber, could be rubbed with cat's
fur to attract light objects like feathers. Thales of Miletos made a series of observations on static electricity around 600 BC,
from which he believed that friction rendered amber magnetic, in contrast to minerals such as magnetite, which needed
no rubbing.[1][2] Thales was incorrect in believing the attraction was due to a magnetic effect, but later science would prove
a link between magnetism and electricity. According to a controversial theory, the Parthians may have had knowledge of
electroplating, based on the 1936 discovery of the Baghdad Battery, which resembles a galvanic cell, though it is uncertain
whether the artifact was electrical in nature. [3]
Electricity would remain little more than an intellectual curiosity for millennia until 1600, when the English scientist William
Gilbert made a careful study of electricity and magnetism, distinguishing the lodestone effect from static electricity produced
by rubbing amber.[4] He coined the New Latin word electricus ("of amber" or "like amber", from ήλεκτρον [elektron], the
Greek word for "amber") to refer to the property of attracting small objects after being rubbed.[5] This association gave rise
to the English words "electric" and "electricity", which made their first appearance in print in Thomas Browne's Pseudodoxia
Epidemica of 1646.[6]
The New Latin adjective electricus, originally meaning 'of amber', was first used to refer to amber's attractive properties
by Gilbert in his 1600 text De Magnete. The term came from the classical Latin electrum, amber, from the Greek ἤλεκτρον
(elektron), amber.[7] The origin of the Greek word is unknown, but there is speculation that it might have come from a
Phoenician word elēkrŏn, meaning 'shining light'.

Phoenician Theology
Phoenician Scribe Epeïs (who is called among them a chief hierophant and sacred scribe, and whose work was translated
[into Greek] by Areius of Heracleopolis), speaks in an allegory word for word as follows:

“The first and most divine being is a serpent with the form of a hawk, extremely graceful, which whenever he opened
his eyes filled all with light in his original birthplace, but if he shut his eyes, darkness came on.”

Epeïs here intimates that he is also of a fiery substance, by saying "he shone through," for to shine through is peculiar to
light. From the Phoenicians Pherecydes also took the first ideas of his theology concerning the god called by him Ophion and
concerning the Ophionidae, of whom we shall speak again.
Phoenicians believed that creation of the universe took place in this fashion: The first principle of the universe he supposes
to have been air dark with cloud and wind, or rather a blast of cloudy air, and a turbid chaos dark as Erebus; and these were
boundless and for long ages had no limit. But when the wind, says he, became enamoured of its own parents, and a mixture
took place, that connexion was called Desire. This was the beginning of the creation of all things: but the wind itself had no
knowledge of its own creation. [8]

History of Amber
The English word amber derives from the Arabic 'anbar, via Medieval Latin ambar and Old French ambre. The word originally
referred to a precious oil derived from the Sperm whale (now called ambergris). The sense was extended to fossil resin circa
1400, and this became the main sense as the use of ambergris waned.[9] The two substances were confused because they
both were found washed up on beaches. Ambergris is lighter than water and floats; whereas amber is lighter than stone,
but not light enough to float.[10] The word "ambar" was brought to Europe by the Crusaders. In French "ambre gris" was then
distinguished from "ambre jaune": ambre gris (gray amber) was ambergris; ambre jaune (yellow amber) was the fossil resin
we now call amber.

Amber is discussed by Theophrastus, possibly the first historical mention of the material, in the 4th century BC. The
Greek name for amber was ηλεκτρον (electron) and was connected to the Sun God, one of whose titles was Elector or the
Awakener.[11]

The Amber Spyglass

This novel is part of the trilogy His Dark Materials written by atheist Philip Pullman. His work was made famous when an
adaptation of his first book in the trilogy The Golden Compass was made into a feature film. At the time of the release, many
Evangelicals spoke out against the anti-God theme within the movie. This book is of interest because it take elements of the
truth and manipulates them which is Satan’s modus operandi. He always distorts truth.

The Amber Spyglass is the third and final novel in the His Dark Materials series, written by English author Philip Pullman,
and published in 2000. It tells the story of Lyra of Jordan College in another world's version of Oxford, her friend Will from
our world, and Lord Asriel's revolt against the Kingdom of Heaven. The Amber Spyglass begins with the reappearance of
Lyra, who has been kidnapped by her mother, Mrs. Coulter, who keeps her daughter sedated. Lyra dreams of her friend
Roger, whose death she feels she caused. She promises that they will free him from the World of the Dead. Lyra's friend Will,
the bearer of the subtle knife, searches for her despite the urgings of two angels, Balthamos and Baruch, that he should go
immediately to Lord Asriel and offer his knife and his services in Asriel's war against the Authority. [www.bookrags.com]
In this book, character Mary Malone uses tree sap lacquer and accidentally constructs a telescope (the 'amber spyglass' of
the title) that allows her to see the elementary particles known as Dust. Dust adheres to all life-forms that have attained a level
of intelligence associated with building civilizations. She sees that Dust is flying away in large streams rather than falling on
and nourishing the trees on which the mulefa mutually depend.
Through this fictional story a connection is being made between amber and electrons which was mentioned earlier is an
elementary particle like Pullman’s dust. Whether the author knew what he was doing or not this makes for an interesting tie-in
to say the least. The Truth is being warped through this story.

Dust (His Dark Materials)

Dust is a mysterious cosmic particle that is integral to the plot. In Northern Lights, Lord Asriel reveals the origins of the
term "Dust" to be from a passage from the slightly alternate version of the Bible in Lyra's World: "In the sweat of thy face shalt
thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
(Genesis 3:19)

Pullman's Dust is a fictional form of dark matter, an elementary particle that is of fundamental importance. It is invisible to the
human eye and cannot be seen without the use of special instruments, such as the amber spyglass or a special film. While
humans cannot see Dust without the use of outside devices, creatures such as the mulefa are able to see dust with their own
eyes.

Unlike ordinary particles, Dust is conscious. It falls from the sky, is attracted to people, and wears off onto objects made by
people. This makes it of great interest to the Church, which believes that it may be the physical manifestation of Original Sin.
It is later learned that Dust actually confers consciousness, knowledge, and wisdom, and that Dust is formed when matter
becomes conscious. This allows creatures who have the ability to see Dust to identify other sentient and intelligent creatures.
An example of this is when the mulefa are able to distinguish Mary Malone as an intelligent being (compared to the other
animals), because of the Dust surrounding her.

Dust is also the thing that allows all "magic" to be done in the worlds. Those beings that can understand Dust by looking at
it can also see the truth in things and are able to change things by getting into a certain state of consciousness. An example
would be the panserbjørne, who are able to see the truth in all things and therefore cannot be tricked, unless they become like
humans. There are also the witches who understand Dust on such a level that they can use it to achieve flight, cast "spells",
and make themselves unnoticed—among other things.

Dust is also the thing that connects humans to their dæmons. This being is the physical manifestation of the soul that can
talk and is in the form of an animal. It sends the Dust to the human to allow the human consciousness. Even in worlds whose
people lack apparent dæmons, they still exist, though they typically do not take the form of animals. In some worlds, one's
dæmon is the silent consciousness in the back of one's head, that other voice that confers intuition. If the bond between a
child and their dæmon is severed (as through Intercision), both the child and the dæmon will eventually die. If the separation
occurs after Dust has settled on the person (that is, after he or she has reached adolescence), the person simply becomes a
lifeless shell.

It is Dust that provides the answers given by the alethiometer, the I Ching system of divination and also the computer that Dr.
Mary Malone creates in order to communicate directly with these particles by using one's consciousness.

Dust has various names among the various different worlds within the trilogy. Dust was previously known (in Lyra Belacqua's
universe) as Rusakov particles after their discoverer, Boris Mikhailovitch Rusakov. It is known also as Shadows in our world
(Pullman relates Dust to dark matter), and the mulefa's word sraf accompanied by a leftward flick of the trunk (or arm for
humans).

Angels are formed when Dust condenses. Nevertheless, Angels are not in reality the human-like figures they appear to be.
They are the physical manifestation of spirit making something 'be'. Because consciousness is the thing that makes us "sin",
it can (in theory) be seen as original sin. This is the point of view seen by the Magisterium, and therefore they seek to destroy
it. However, they fail to see what the full repercussions of this would be, as they are ignorant to the true nature of Dust.
Eliminating it would mark the end of consciousness, and would most certainly lead to the quick destruction of all worlds with
conscious life in the multiverse.

Myths & Religions

● In Greek mythology, Zeus (zuːs/ zoos or /ˈzjuːs/ zews; Ancient Greek: Ζεύς; Modern Greek: Δίας, Dias) is the "Father
of Gods and men"[3] who ruled the Olympians of Mount Olympus as a father ruled the family. He was the god of sky
and thunder in Greek mythology. Zeus carries a lightning rod in his hand.
● In ancient Roman religion and myth, Jupiter or Jove was the king of the gods, and the god of sky and thunder.
● Tinia (also Tin, Tinh, Tins or Tina) was the god of the sky and the highest god in Etruscan mythology. He was part
of the powerful triad that included Menrva and Uni. He was associated with lightning, spears and scepters. In the
Etruscan language, tin or tinš means "day" and its plural is tinia showing that he is a god governing the passage of
time.
● In the Vedic pantheon Dyauṣ Pitā (द्यौष् पिता) or Dyauṣpitṛ (द्यौष्पितृ) is the Sky Father, divine consort of the Prithvi
and father of Agni, Indra (RV 4.17.4), and Ushas, the daughter representing dawn. In archaic Vedic lore, Dyauṣ Pitṛ
and Prithivi Matṛ were one, single composite dvandva entity, named as the Dyavaprthivi. Etymologically, the name
Dyaus is derived from Proto-Indo-European root word morpheme *dyeu- (zero-grade forms *dyu- and *diw-) with
the meaning 'to shine'. Words related to Dyaus in Sanskrit include divasa 'day', divya 'divine, celestial', dyota 'light,
shining', etc.
Dyauṣ Pitṛ is the Sanskrit version of the Proto-Indo-European sky god concept personified by *Dyeus, who appears
in many other Indo-European religions with similar attributes. Dyeus was addressed as Dyeu Ph2ter, literally "Sky
Father" or "shining father", as reflected in Latin Jupiter, Dispater, and deus pater, Greek Zeus pater.
● In Māori mythology the primal couple Rangi and Papa (or Ranginui and Papatuanuku) appear in a creation myth
explaining the origin of the world. In some South Island dialects, Rangi is called Raki or Rakinui.[1]
● In Native American mythology the sky father is a common character in the creation story.[1]
● In China, in Daoist belief, 天 (tian), meaning sky or heaven, is associated with light, the positive, male, etc.
● Tengri or Tengger (Old Turkic; Mongolian: Тенгери, Tengeri; Chinese: 腾格里, Mandarin: Ténggélǐ; Turkish: Gök
Tanrı) is a sky god, formerly the chief deity of the early Turkic peoples, including the Xiongnu, Huns, Bulgars,[citation
needed] and Xianbei.
Tengri was the main god of the Turkic pantheon, controlling the celestial sphere.[6] The Turkic sky god Tengri is
strikingly similar to the Indo-European sky god, *Dyeus, and the structure of the reconstructed Proto-Indo-European
religion is closer to that of the early Turks than to the religion of any people of Near Eastern or Mediterranean
antiquity.[7]
● Horus is one of the oldest and most significant deities in the Ancient Egyptian religion, who was worshipped from
at least the late Predynastic period through to Greco-Roman times. Since Horus was said to be the sky, he was
considered to also contain the sun and moon. It became said that the sun was his right eye and the moon his left, and
that they traversed the sky when he, a falcon, flew across it.

These are all warped versions of the true Father God, Lord of lords and King of kings, Yahweh. Many of which include control
of a specific thunder, lightening and/or light attribute. None of these gods are the true God. Since we know Satan does not
create but distort, it is plausible that an element of Yahweh’s power and presence is electricity or chashmal.

Electricity in the Bible

The word electricity is not found in the Bible, but as noted previously amber is and it is the word from which “electron”
and “electricity” is derived. Lightning is found in the Bible numerous times. Depending on the translation, it is mentioned from
27 to 42 times throughout the Bible.

Lightning is an atmospheric discharge of electricity accompanied by thunder, which typically occurs during thunderstorms, and
sometimes during volcanic eruptions or dust storms.[1] There are satellites that can detect lightning, including in places where
there is nobody to observe it, it is known to occur on average 44 ± 5 times a second, for a total of nearly 1.4 billion flashes per
year;[102]

The first mention of lightning in the Word of God is the plague of hail the Lord sent to the Egyptians through Moses.

Exodus 9:23 (NLT) So Moses lifted his staff toward the sky, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightning
flashed toward the earth. The Lord sent a tremendous hailstorm against all the land of Egypt.

In Exodus chapters 19 and 20, the Lord reveals himself to Moses and the people of Israel on Mt. Sinai. The presence of God
is accompanied with what we would call a thunderstorm.

Exodus 19:16 (NLT) On the morning of the third day, thunder roared and lightning flashed, and a dense cloud
came down on the mountain. There was a long, loud blast from a ram’s horn, and all the people trembled.

Exodus 20:18 (NLT) When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram’s horn, and when they saw the
flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear.

Second Samuel 22 recounts a song of David when he was rescued from his enemies and Saul. Notice the possessive
reference as David calls it “his (the Lord’s) lightning.”

2 Samuel 22:14-16 (NLT) The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. He shot arrows
and scattered his enemies; his lightning flashed, and they were confused. Then at the command of the Lord, at the blast of
his breath, the bottom of the sea could be seen, and the foundations of the earth were laid bare.

Throughout Job and Psalms there are many references stating God’s control over “lightning” and “his lightning.”

Job 36:32 (NLT) He fills his hands with lightning bolts and hurls each at its target.

Psalm 97:4 (NLT) His lightning flashes out across the world. The earth sees and trembles.

Ezekiel has already been referenced, but it should be noted that there are multiple mentions of lightning in Ezekiel’s encounter
with the presence of the Lord (Ezekiel 1:4,13,14). In Daniel, as well, when he encountered a heavenly being in a vision, he
described his face flashing like lightning (Daniel 10:6).

Jesus speaks of His return in Luke 17 and how lightning will be flashing across the sky.

Luke 17:23-24 (NLT) People will tell you, ‘Look, there is the Son of Man,’ or ‘Here he is,’ but don’t go out and follow
them. For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so it will be on the day when the
Son of Man comes.

We get a picture of the throne room of God in Revelation 4, and this is would be where the presence, power and glory of God
would be most prevailing.

Revelation 4:5 (NLT) From the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. And in front of the throne
were seven torches with burning flames. This is the sevenfold Spirit of God.

Another passage from Revelation 11 speaks of the opening of the Ark of His covenant accompanied by lightning and thunder.
The Ark signifies the manifest presence of God.

Revelation 11:19 (NLT) Then, in heaven, the Temple of God was opened and the Ark of his covenant could be seen
inside the Temple. Lightning flashed, thunder crashed and roared, and there was an earthquake and a terrible
hailstorm.
Lightning in the Bible is more often then not either symbolically representing His power or literally accompanying His manifest
presence. To extrapolate that electrons and electricity are the residual power or glory of God in all of creation is not too far of
a reach.

The Glory of God

In the English Standard Version translation of the Bible there are 58 mentions of either the “glory of God” or the “glory of
the Lord.” Other versions vary from approximately 35 to 60 mentions. If the glory of the Lord does have a connection or is
associated with electricity/electrons more than likely there would be some other evidence linking the two in the Bible outside
the verses in Ezekiel.

In King David’s Psalm 19 it hearkens back to the original subject matter that was discussed in the theory concerning
an “electric universe.” Of course, the first verse of this passage can simply refer to the majesty, beauty and awe of God’s
creation. In the context of electricity relating to God’s glory there is the possibility of a deeper, hidden meaning.

Psalm 19:1 (ESV) [ The Law of the LORD Is Perfect ] To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the
glory of God,and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Speaking of hidden things: Proverbs 25:2 (ESV) “It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search
things out.” Literally speaking the glory of God is hidden from the natural man but does have instances of being revealing.
Electrons and electricity are hidden to the human eye for the most part. This theory itself could be an example of a concealed
thing of God. This verse could be alluding to itself. The glory of God is a concealed thing, but its man’s glory to search out the
answer.
