Now, the old book of has past its 150th battle.

Because of the shear amount of pages a new

format will be introduced.

So we faced the orc horde again. We fielded our blessed Casket of Souls eager to suck some foul
green skins to their everlasting torment. We where lucky because on the first orc turn the unit of
goblins failed their animosity and argued among themselves. In our turn we made the same goblins
ran with our screaming skull catapult killing only one of their number. These goblins ran off the
battlefield with the goblin shaman running along. We hit the orc warbosses big’un unit dead on and
caused them to flee too. But the warboss whacked them into line and they rallied. We saw an
opening in the horde and sent our charioteers into the fray. With limited success. and his
holy warriors engaged the orc giant in the flank. But first thing the huge creature picked our holy
prince up and “Stuffed him in his Bag”. Oh the indignity of it!. When came out of the
sack (after the giant was slain by a screaming skull) the battle was heading to a close.

then the battle ended.. Death to the green skins.

has gained a scrap of the giant’s bag. Ahhhh memories.
The Light of Death pulled 9 goblin bolt thrower crew and an orc boar
chariot to their doom! Ahhhgahhhhaghh.

“The foul thing of mortal flesh grabbed me from my holy warriors. My weapon fell and before I
could defend myself I was covered. If I could smell it would have been torture. My fellow
warriors were left at the command of Isshue-ra. Even though they fought well the constant
damage from the giants club ended their fight. But thanks to a good screaming skull shoot the
giant was smited and I ripped my way out of the hated sack. If it was a sack?”.. “Disgusting“.

With great happiness I am very proud to say that and have enjoyed a glorious
union that has stood the test of time. The whole kingdom is again a joy and very happy with this
grand news. Also has found new exciting opportunities which give us more joy and hope
for the future. I can not think of a better time for the people of . Our power and wealth will
grow like nothing before. Everlasting glory to

Even through we made our march though the Badlands with the power of -Regi’s Wind of Sand-
. We failed to fight even one game in this campaign. In the end it is doubtful that anything
interesting or good came out of it at all?. Are very boring campaign it seems in the end. The
Legions of returned to our homeland disappointed in the running of “The Nemesis Crown” and
uninterested in playing in anymore of these “so called” online campaigns. Very poor indeed.
A new charioteer unit has been made. Using the old charioteer’s standard as well this new unit will
indeed come in handy. The bones of these chariots are of an old figure type. With a little paint and
some re-gluing they turned out really well. With a charioteer unit with a standard we can finally
field the banner of cursing word and the banner of the sacred eye again. Hmmmm nice indeed.

The sands have revealed an ancient entrance to lairs unknown. The magic power around this area
feels one with the feeling of nasty creatures and evil minds inside. The green mist that continues to
escape from the opening is also a bad omen. Nothing has appeared from its boney mouth as yet. And
hopefully nothing will. We will continue our investigation into this and hopefully gain some more
answers to many of the baffling questions on its purpose and design. Until them I recommend
staying away.

I have traveled to the location of the baffling ancient entrance the sands have uncovered. I casted my
incantations and communicated with my long dead sprits. One name came up in these efforts.
the banished Khemri god of pox and despair. To my knowledge was forced into the
underworld centuries ago by the powers that be at the time. It is unknown if was one who did
this action. Such information will take time to find. Meanwhile I have put a ward on this unholy
place. Hopefully it will make it hard for things to escape this entrance. I will return after studying
more about these events.
I have put together the history of our holy and strong Icon Bearer. One of the every few
found on our journey through the badlands with the -Regi’s Wind of Sand-. The only good
thing to come out of the useless march.

The life of the young Set started out just like the life of many under the service of his princess-
Kaarinja the flame of the north. Set quickly rose the ranks helping his blessed princess with
the masses of greenskins that plagued the area. The many battles honed his already great
fighting skill. And soon he stood beside his beloved Kaarinja in battle. The young princess
found a grand and powerful outpost and brought great wealth back to Khemri. Alas it was not
to last. The masses of greenskins and their continued assaults overwhelmed kaarnja’s
empire. Set died like the way he fought by her side.
Kaarinja gave set a tomb worthy of his combat skill. When our great army marched to war we
found the tomb of this great warrior. Upon releasing him from his prison he joined our host
under the new title Set-Ra and he held our holy icon of war.

We face the might green horde again. The lines of orc might was all to see. And the giant was back.
I saw himself motion away from the beast, and I certainly did not want to be facing the
thing. with his holy guard and keeping his holy kings flank safe. All the
enemies bolt throwers saw and hit our mighty but with the greater blessing of none
of the hits wounded.

We quickly saw that there where opportunities in killing the magic power of our opponents. Our
Carrion killed one goblin shaman while he was with a bolt thrower the other Targa stung to death.
But alas the shear amount of his fellow goblin guards crumbled our veteran scorpion.
The battle turned when I and could not get any of our incantations off to move
into combat with the massive orc giant. Of course this ended up with the lumbering thing
smashing though poor like he was made of heated sand. In a fit of rage the orc giant
overrun into and his blessed tomb guard.

The battle was fierce. Our holy king swiped and cut with all his holy might. Even our tomb guard
stabbed trying to fell this thing of flesh. An orc chariot saw an opening and smashed into the melee
too. This was too much for all the tomb guard who all fell to a man. dispatched both the
chariot and the wounded giant in a great melee of death. This stopped this combat and evaded his loss
of form.

and his loyal skeletons killed a unit of orcs and made the battle standard flee. Also engaging
another orc unit and running them down as well. At the end the orc warboss was left with one
remaining orc unit behind. The battlefield was ours and the hated giant disposed of.

Tempting..

A mighty clash is at hand, three fellow armies march to a far far away land. In search of treasure,
wealth and everlasting glory. We are one of these blessed few. The holy armies of Ra will take this
new land and turn it into a holy place of power for our blessed God.

We unfortunely are the weakest empire at the very start of the war of this Mighty Empires. Alas
this has not worried us at all. We picked the “ ” event then we had no choice to declare a
holy challenge against the only player open to us. Tyrant Bob has joined us in war…… And he has
“ ” let’s see what we can do…

The Army of Phat played “ ” last event turn. So we their opponents have to deploy our
whole army first and they get the first turn.
As we deployed our forces for this the first battle of this Mighty Empires campaign. We all had a
feeling of immediate doom. The Ogres would come fast and hard into our battleline and we could
do nothing to stop it at all. So we did what any army would do under these circumstances. We
deployed right on our table edge. This did not stop a nasty Gorger appearing right behind and
forcing our huge bone giant to turn and take the threat. and his skeleton warriors were
locked into a long and tiring battle with three ogre bulls. on his chariot and his charioteers
did well, sweeping all before them. The ogre battle standard was taken by but
tomb guard fell to the constant onslaught of the ogre ironguts with the battle standard. This left our
beloved king alone. was lucky to still walk after a rear charge from some ghonars and dealing
with the over confident Gorger. At the end won the day by lucky running down Tyrant
Bob and his ironguts with a flank charge. If that failed and his charioteers would of faced a
tenderising time…

After our great victory against the Army of Phat, We built our empire fast. Taking the mountain
then the coast. And because of “ ” event we put up a fortress on the coast. Everything is
coming together for us now. The evil new Skaven Empire put a “ ” event on us. Stuffing
up our coast income. We had no choice but too do“ ” on the Orc horde. Which did
nothing at all. The challenge phase turned out that the new Skaven Empire wanted a war of their
own. Of course we met the challenge with a deathly grin.

Around this time our empire came face to face with a problem. Nothing to do with our people,
wealth or power, but instead with our very god itself. Scribing came to a standstill and nothing for
quite awhile was able to be documented. I personally was at a loss, and I could not reasonably explain
to our holy and just king why any of this was happening. Soon the time passed and we the servants
of could again scribe for our unlives again. Strange time..

None..

We this campaign turn faced a new player and a rather familiar Skaven horde. We face warp-
lighting after warp-lighting many of our number fell to the Skaven’s potent magic. finally
got into combat but the Skaven Warlord was so difficult to dispose of. Even the holy hand of our
powerful and strong king could not do it. And took a nasty number of wounds from the
encounter. Luckily many Skaven fled and the warlock engineers where slain one by one. We healed
our wounds and force the Skaven from the field. It was a close call in the end.

Another campaign turn and our empire is growing strong. Building and expanding we see a bright
future. But of course this can change rather quickly and we must always be defence. The 3rd
campaign turn event phase was interesting. The Skaven sought revenge with a aimed at
us. But luckily it failed to destroy anything. We where ’ed by the evil and rather
over orky . So wisely we took thinking that we had a fight on our hands.
The challenge phase saw a huge multiple game unravel. Chaos and the Skaven verus Tyrant
Ogres and orc horde and our glories empire of gold.

Our grand empire played the “ ” event last event phase. So we can field as many
special and rare units as we want- six tomb scorpions ,
and and two screaming skull catapults and .
The storm rose and our opponent’s armies march to war. A chaos and Skaven host was in front of
us. A powerful tzeencth lord riding a disc of his chaos lord and a grey seer upon a large screaming
bell. I watched as the armies of Tyrant Ogres and orc horde marched on with us.
We deployed in the middle. A tactic requested by our powerful king and allowed between both of
our fellow lords. All our six scorpions tunnelled under our opponent’s battleline. On one of our
holy shooting phases fired upon the Skaven line. Such was your opponents
confusing deployment that the shoot scattered upon a chaos unit. The flaming skulls of death killed
a hero of Tzeentch and made the unit flee never to be seen again, a time of great joy. Our
took a nasty tzeentch spell and had one of their number turned into a demon of tzeentch.
Lucky the demon was dispatched. Then the unit charged the tzeentch chaos lord with the help of our
allied orc unit. The riders wounded the tzeentch disc twice which helped making the chaos lord flee!,
a great effort indeed. Our six tomb scorpions had limited effect. ran down a Skaven
ratling gun. came and helped our ogre allies see the end of the Skaven Grey Seer; well I
say “HELPED”. took on a unit of fliers of tzeentch and lasted a whooping five
combat before seeing its own end. popped up and charged a clanrat unit with holy
might, slayed a warlock engineer with its powerful limbs but then crumbled delighted in its slaying.
dug up into a clanrat unit, it lasted two combats but then crumbled.
failed to dig to the surface and was lost.
All in all we really did not do a lot but threaten the opponent line with our impending doom from
below and our fiery wraith from above.

After a very interesting five way battle we the “Nation of Gold” built our empire yet again. The
Skaven sought evil revenge again on us with a . But again it failed to destroy anything,
the eyes of protects us. The Orcs saw a chance to affect our holy right to rule. Playing an
untimely , stopping from battering in his holy form. Curse these gobliniods.
We knowing we would be attacked so we picked the event. The challenge phase saw a big
battle against Chaos and Ogres verus Skaven and Orc and Goblins. And a battle form between us and
the Ogres. May bless us?

Our grand empire played the “ ” event last event phase. So this battle we could see the
opponent’s army list before making one ourselves. We had the event played on us too from those sneaky orcs.
This battle we can not field a Lord at all.. Bummer..

We stuffed up… The misfired first turn and was really taken out of action because the
Ogres came short and fast. in a chariot did (with his personal charioteers) ran down three
Yetis but then overrun into a unit Ogre Bulls, proceeded to sliced them to ribbons but failed to stop
their overrun and galloped sixteen inches away?. was smashed to bits by and his
tenderiser of DOOM. Even with our flanking help from the all our units
crumbled, both the and tomb guard. Oh folly!. But there was one last hope.
turned his charioteers around and charged . Hoping to take a goriest victory from
the mouth of impending defeat. But alas in Tomb Prince form was no match for the
mighty . was defeated… All was lost. But…
Last turn saw our holy effort in the face of so much injustice, and in a freak occurrence an Ogre
butcher misscasted. Blowing himself up with his one remaining fellow butcher. This must have
taken off his game. The Tyrant slashed and missed with all his attacks. With that
ran… And with great delight was slain. Phew!! A draw..

A Heated Draw to 2000pt pitched battle.

The Chaos empire played the “ ” event last event phase. So this battle both them and
their Ogre allies get the first turn and make their opponents deploy their whole army first.

I watched this battle with intense eyes. The outcome could have seen the Ogres gain a major victory
in these lands and force our holy and rightful empire out. It was an interesting affair indeed.
Warpfire guns were blazing everywhere and goblin fanatics racing around the battlefield swelling in
delight. The Ogres and Chaos were soundly defeated though. Without a hope of controlling the
battlefield they pulled their only remaining unit out of the conflict. Yes the Chaos Hellcannon.

Oh yeah. The campaign heats up. Our empire is still the largest and even with this great advantage
we have become insecure that we have always having the last event turn?. Not a lot happening this
event phase we took on the gobliniods. No gold for them.. The challenge phase saw a
battle form against Skaven and Ogres verus Chaos. And a battle form between us and the Orcs. We
are spending 250 gold crowns on that one to smash the greenskins into the ground.

I have found information on . The newly found Entrance to the Underworld is

no doubt now an Entrance from Usirian’s domain and one in which minions can escape. This
is indeed wicked news and has to be dealt with.

The God Sloth

When the Khemri Empire was strong and the many Gods the people worshiped ruled supreme, a
number of gods broke away from the common concerns of mortals. Eager and lustful for power or
maddened by the many rages engulfing them, many were hunted down and destroyed utterly before
they could cause great damage to civilisation. When the numbers of Gods remaining became lessoned
the amount of crazed power-hungry gods also lessoned and before long no remaining god went though
such a transformation.
Then of course there was Sloth. One of the first gods to feel creation and deal with the other maddened
ones. Sloth too fell slowly but surely. When this god’s own belief was filled with desires of turning all to
its will, warping all to a new form beyond the lives of mortals or even other gods, it became apparent
that even Sloth had to be dealt with just like before.
But now things where different and compassion was felt. Something that Sloth would never grant to
anything else. Sloth was defeated by the powerful Ptra, Asaph, Djaf and Phakth; Sloth was banished to
the underworld the domain of the god Usirian. There Sloth existed as only a spirit without form. The
outcome was forever, but forever was a fleeting thing.
With the fall of the Khemri Empire and the birth of the dead many followers of the great Sloth were too
reborn. Unknown to all and even the last gods remaining Sloth’s power grew through these few
followers, even though these followers themselves serviced other gods after Sloth’s fall.
Sloth in its evil and chaotic mind continued its plan. And used what little power it had to force its way
toward the living world and out of Usirian’s domain. After many lifetimes, and when the very remains
of the once great Khemri Empire was just dust and ruled by the living dead did Sloth finally break the
crust of the land.
The cracks opened and mists of the power of Sloth echoed forth to corrupt all. Skulls with glowing eyes
watched the lands and the Abnormal Ones, the foul servants of Sloth commanded the new power. Thus
the old and ancient dead march again to a new purpose, with a new lord.

Our holy and beloved king has a new pet. Something a fellow adventurer left to us when we where
out in heated battle on campaign. It’s a lovely beetle of a blueish hew. It follows
everywhere now. Cute little thing .

It comes to pass. One of the last great campaigns of this year and it’s a dozy. A massive 4000 point
tourney, named . Players can have allies and field special characters. We the
mighty warriors of see no sense in this. We have not the forces to command will and
holds no allegiance to us. with the power of has been
disallowed. So this leaves us with little choice but to amass nearly the whole .
May we slay everything with our holy vengeance and show once and for all that the heroes of this
world should tremble before us.
Anyway… That’s the plan..

With the mighty will of Ra-num, and by his holy command our grand army of Ra marches too
war. From the tombs of our beloved king rises his holy guard. Mighty warriors trained and
trusted to bring glory to Ra. Our blessed charioteers charge out of their chambers of eternal
slumber. The many warriors of Ra come marching forth out of their pits to boaster our
numbers; the many banners of ages past are now once again in the mortal air. The many
other princes in our realm of gold have also joined our cause eager to gain honor and power
with our victory. Our great host of the dead will sweep aside all that comes before us. No
mortal, Daemon or dead can withstand us. The gathering of might is ours. This truth can not
be denied.
Glory to Ra.
Zut-Elucarr High Hierophant
No special rules this mighty empires game. We spent 250 gold crowns the black orc big boss
spent 212 gold crowns.

As we hoped. The army of the great comes upon us yet again, but this time we spent our
extra gold and fielded two of our most blessed bone giants, and . We
stared this battle with our carrion using their speed to lure out the many goblin fanatics hiding in
the goblin units, in which there was only one. The fanatics caused worry in the orc battleline but
our carrion were stopped from moving to safety. In came their giant, thundering down and
smashing into our dead birds. But did anything happen… Nothing, the giant swang his huge club at
one of our carrion only to have the undead bird dodge it?. Then out of pure frustration the giant
“yelled and balled” but that to did not do much. In the end sent his orc chariots in to finish
what the giant did not. Well that did it.. But in turn that allowed us to counter attack. We sent the
orc units running, from fear and from our mighty blows in hand to hand. Poor fell
to the shear amount of bolts from the many bolt thrower units the orcs mustered. But
got into combat, splatting many gobliniod bodies under is large feet. But again when the
dust settled the remaining bolt throwers ended even battle joy. took the fight to
yet again. And the black orc was yet again defeated. The orcs ran and the goblins hid and I
hear an “I’m not going to challenge you again” remark somewhere in the wind.

A Gathering of Might
The following three (cough! two) battles were played over two (cough! one) days. Saturday 3rd and
Sunday 4th of November 2007. All these battles were 4000 point pitched battles. Named characters are
allowed. And allied contingents of other races. And up to eight turns instead of six.
No casket of souls was fielded. In the end we swapped for .

Opponent fielded and as well as a steam tank.

Seems the Emperor of Man, is very upset with us; must have been holy war
against them during “The Nemesis Crown”. But we did not achieve anything during that war.
This seems to escape the mortal emperor. Also traveling with the emperor is and his
mighty magic knowledge. A steam tank as well as a large artillery battery consisting of two great
cannons and a newly built rocket launcher (still scratching my boney skull with the look of that
thing?) and a volley gun also formed up on their battleline. We were in for a fight, but we still
stood undeterred.
The battle started quickly with using his potent magic to cause great loss to
personal guard; with the rockets smashing them and the poor tomb guard were obliterated to
one rank. The great cannons tried to destroy our catapults but because of holy luck they did
nothing. The Emperor took on our left flank eager to destroy our chariots and light cavalry there.
The steam tank rolled forward with a full set of steam; taking aim it fired its cannon, but the shot
backfired starting a build up of heat and steam in its many pipes. I heard a curse from inside.

We started our counter attack. One of our flaming skulls hit some swordsmen routing them back
before they rallied. Our carrion flew with our incantations towards the volley gun. Even though one
carrion got into combat the undead birds routed the crew and stopped that machine form any real
threat to our army. charged just past a swordsmen unit, hoping to
catch the might warlock in his powerful limbs. But fled and then rallied to reck more
distruction upon our army. Poor was run down by a knight unit. But of course
this allowed our units to counter attack giving us the upper hand. and
took out the empire artillery which helped out our plight.
took the war to us personally, in one daring move he casted a spell of molten metal at
alas the giant could not hold together against the burning lead and was destroyed. We
sent our charioteers and with his skeleton warriors into the empire swordsmen protecting
. The swordsmen fled from the double charge in total fear. Then went
as well, but I had a plan for such an event. Our well fed carrion flew down in front of the hated
warlock following his Pegasus in its flight. I the powerful high liche priest of , used my cloak of
the dunes and flew myself to the border of the small forest. Then willing the Carrion on routed the
powerful from the field of battle. The tide was turning.
The empire steam tank tried very hard to continue with the damage done. It pushed its steam to high
and damaged itself more, it moved forward then stopped with the cursing of the driver. Our
Ushabitis charged it and with their powerful blades cut it down. In a great effort of fighting ability
and his personal tomb guard charged the empire greatswords with the battle standard bearer
and a warrior priest of Sigmar. With a “my will be done” killed the champion and a killer
blow took down the warrior priest, then another killer blow slayed the battle standard bearer before
his griffon banner took effect. The greatswords fought on stubborn to the last. Until their numbers
fell below ours then they broke and ran. and his skeletons fought well getting into a
swordsmen unit routing them then getting charged by another then routing them. Then taking on
some flagrants, then lucky to not be destroyed right out before the end of the battle.
Meanwhile The Emperor of Man, attacked our second charioteers unit smashing them
with his mighty warhammer of old. Then turning around and taking on our two catapults. Both had
a shot at him, one missed and the other broke through over firing. flew down and took
the last catapult out then flew off the field of battle. No doubt to come back to continue his
vindictive war upon us.
I and my fellow liche priest saw the importance of getting our beloved king back into this battle.
We all turned our efforts in returning his tomb guard to full numbers. This was not hard given
that the empire army had no magical power left. Then when his men were back our holy king took
command and moved his unit in such a way that there were not many places the Emperor of Man
could land. Either the mighty Emperor could put himself up against our king and risk attack or he
could fly and land in safety hiding himself like a coward.
The Emperor of Man- took on the odds, we were impressed. He flew down and stood
just out side our kings charge range. With all our might we pushed holy warriors into
combat with this great defiant Emperor of Man. With a mighty slash cut
down, the Destroyer was too powerful for the protective magics of his age. His mount fell too in
combat that was the end of him. The mighty leader of men was dead at the feet of our powerful and
honourable king. But when the bodies were found no remains of was found. Maybe in
death he just looked the same as any other mortal, or... No.. Mortals do not have that much power…

YES.. needs one for slaining . Oh yeah.

Opponent fielded as well as a hell lot of dead and two counts on winged
nightmares. Eghhhh…

The great vampire has come upon us. With all his hellish followers.
Vampires after vampire oppose us. Two great winged nightmares being ridden by vampire counts
from the Castein bloodline. A black coach and two black knights units at least the three banshees will
pose not that large a threat to us. Not knowing much about this fable vampire and his minions we
lined up to face our foe. We never like fighting these cowardly dead; they raise and hide from our
wraith.
With the normal unannounced welcome of the vampires our line was hit by many successfully cast

lead his zombies into and his warriors flank, and that saw the end of him.
We the priests of holy were set upon by the last count and his winged thing of death. Trying to

The cowardly vampire refused. Soaking back into his masses of zombies. Typical for a vampire but
we expected more from this so called king of the dead. More of our tomb guard crumbled but we
held our ground. The battle was over. We lost this battle but the honour was ours.

“Karl Franz foolishly entered the battlefield again. I personally took the war to him. I and my

deep into the emperor of mans chest and then his lifeless corpse fell off his personal war
griffon. I despatched the foul thing as well. Cutting off its right claw and adding it to my belt.
The body of the emperor I was told was not found. My noble warriors must have gutted it with
the rest of the human dead. Maybe his hands are around somewhere on my troops. Taken as
normal battle honours. Now just the hands of a mortal not a king who stood against me and
my holy right to rule”.

Skaven Learning Curve

The Skaven close to our border have been very active of late. Seems a new warlord has come, seeking
fame and fortune in war. We had to teach these foul ratman to not stray to far into our blessed

that is scary. But the battle was won and the lesson learnt. We hope..

I have put together the history of our only Nassk’mar liche priest. I am very happy with
this work of , I praise him completely.

Taken from one of the thirteen tribes of the Romanians, Peribsen was born a very gifted
mage. At an early age he was destined to become the first Liche Nassk’mar among the
Romanians. Zackoass saw to it that the young Peribsen got the proper training and
knowledge needed for the day he would become a true savants of Ra. Taking the oath and
suffering a early mortal death, Peribsen become powerful even compared to the ancient
Liche. Taking over from Zackoass’s duties as the seeker of the Nassk’mar, Peribsen used is
given knowledge of each tribe’s daily life to gather a new advantage in his search. Finding the
“Three Brothers” was the triumph of his early career. Occasionally Peribsen will join the army
of Ra. Watching over his few Nassk’mar brothers in battle. Seeing to their needs and bringing
the ever light of Ra to our foes.

Dogcon Test

I was trusted to describe the turn of events in this battle in this holy book for all eternity. And being
part of our Dogcon campaign army is a great honour for a newly reborn liche. The Ogres we were
up against were (as my fellow liche told me) as nasty as normal. Our battle plan was as
normal, wait for the lugs to advance and redirect their assault. The tactic was good up to a point; I
noticed our charioteers had a hard time out flanking the rather large amount of ogres moving closer
and closer. Our holy king and our beloved prince got into the Tyrants-maneater-battle standard
unit. It took a few combats but the Tyrant ran. gloriously was killed twice by the
Tyrant, which was a great effort for the champion. At the end we won but it was touch and go there
for a few turns.

This campaign is heating up. The Skaven empire has been taken over by a massive high Elven force
and their lands seized. the chaos lord has sent an assassin against us. This is what she had to
say.

“Ashikada's heard of a very potent item held deep within the tombs of the old kings
of the desert. Within a certain pyramid an item that may just be the ticket to
reviving the fallen Celenian and free him from the bonds of the chaos gods. With
the assassin keeping the great king of Ra at bay for now, Ashikada's managed to

We formed up a force to combat this threat, my shine his holy light upon us.

Dogcon Test II

Another battle against ogres and another great honour for me to document it. We were confidant
yet again. Our list changed but not to a huge amount. The adding of Nurg the Ugly was really the
only great difference. The ogres changed their list too. A larger unit of maneaters were with the
Tyrant this time. “Great” sighed, I know too in the last conflict how these renowned ogres
can be very hard to rout. Of course the ogres came quick and fast. Our Charioteers bounced even
though they got eight impact hits. took out three yetis and was
slain by the rinox rider. and his holy guard took on the Tyrant and his maneaters.
saw an opportunity and took it. Stomping into the Tyrants maneater unit in the flank. The Tyrant
didn’t challenge but instead turned and smashed poor Nurg to boney pieces instead. The Tyrant was
slain by with a butcher but and his unit fell and crumbled. Making the rinoxs
rider fall with our blessed king’s curse as it attack the rear. Maneaters were finally destroyed by Ra-
zeem with his tomb guard who counter charged in their flank. All in all a great game. And BOY it’s
getting harder already.

stomped and killed one maneater then… Oh lets not get
into that !

Assassin- no Lord for us . We spent 138 gold crowns Ashikada spent none gold.

As the storm cloads gather we send out the best army we could. With no holy king we where at a
disadvantage Marjory. What can we do? we fielded one of everything we could. Even heavy cavalry
came to war and unlocked the casket of souls and ordered its guards to carry it to war. Then
we saw the opponent. A massive was on the battlefield. And our chances of
getting any victory were now doughtful. We through everything we could at them. Our heavy
cavalry attacked a chaos spawn only to be counter attacked by another one. Its large toughness meant
our cavalry failed in any effort of defeating them. Our charioteers took on those nasty fliers that
where threating to sweep across the battlefield. They did well but we where force to send the carrion
into them as well to finally win that combat. The used its potent magic to
send a lot of our units back to their tombs. We lost all our light cavalry and our other charioteers to
this. The got down to our casket and slain poor and his guards. But I
saw the old liche put up a fight. My archer bodyguard were turned into horrors that crumbled the
unit and sealed the doom of our screaming skull catapult. our general and his skeleton
warriors were lost. Our Ushabti and with our tomb guard ran down the large chaos warrior
unit thus getting us some needed victory points. fought well shrugging off attacks. We
fought back a loss to a draw. Thank …

Skaven Learning Curve II

The skaven again. This time our beloved lord and great king took not his destroyer. But instead
lifted the crook and flail of radiance from his beloved tomb. And we took to stop this
unholy advance. The Skaven were many and warp-lighting cannon cut though our ranks.
failed his look out sir check, but was not hurt. Our carrion flew down with my incantations but
just failed to get to the warp-lighting cannon. Then the warp-lighting cannon shot a strength ten
shot that failed to get range to anything other than one carrion. The carrion shrugged the shot off
and they continued their holy mission and saw the warp-lighting cannon off. A battle erupted in the
middle and and his tomb guard fought a long battle with the warlord’s clan-rats.
cut down clan-rat after clan-rat and the warlord just lead more to slaughter. came into
their flank on the last turn and made the vile rat-man flee with their warlord and battle-standard.
We saw the rest run and the day was ours. is very pleased.

Carrion gained a battle honor.

With our carrions wonderful efforts in

they had to get a battle honor. The one warp-lighting cannon and the routing skaven slave
they destroyed was not the event. But the warp-lighting cannon shot at strength ten and the ratling
cannon shot that both failed to do a single wound was!. Talk about LUCKY carrions.

How could this be? The sneaky army of massacred the newly formed high elf army and ended
up taking their capital and winning the campaign. I am left speechless..
We were just getting started too. These untrustworthy ogres..
Another year and yet another Dogcon event. This year proves to be a lot more fun and more exciting
to say the least. The tournament will run with two detachments of 250 points each and during the
games players will play with which ever one they choose. Plus one game will include them both. We
have already had a few battles testing our army design and we think we have got a winner.
Also on a different note a team event will run before the main slaughter. We have joined a team of
interesting players. We named ourselves - The Judges of Impending Doom - the grand army of
joins a dwarven force and a wood elf host. Hopefully that will be a winning team.

The dwarf player is none other than Sean Davis ( and the wood elves are commanded by
Marc Hurwitz ( ). We should do well. Luke Ryan ( ) commanding the great horde
of Phat (winner of the mighty empire campaign) wants to grudge us for the first game. Time to
spread the hate of and accept the ogre Tyrant. He has made his own team to under the title
"Stephen Hawking's Football Boots". Should we he afraid I say?… Hmmmmm maybe..

Dogcon Test III

I had the pleasure this time to witness the grand army of at its best. We did nothing wrong this
battle. The poor dark elves we faced did not stand a chance. Our holy shot a devastating
havoc upon their host. The first shot smashed the dark elf warrior line and killed the High Sorcerer
stone dead even before his first spell. Two units fled by its massive fire. The dark elves threw
everything they had at us to try to turn the battle. The spell weaving hydra and a cold-one chariot
slammed our skeleton warriors and made many crumble. But they held together long enough to
allow and his holy tomb guard to rescue them. Even the beast master on his manticore fled
from an attack by our charioteers. It was doom for the dark elves and glory to us… The blessed
servants of .

Dogcon Test IV

Another battle against ogre kingdoms leading up to this years campaign. Our opponent none
other than Luke (kingma15) and his . The very same all our Ogre kingdom battles have
been against of late. Not that it matters much; Luke is still as cunning and skilled as any Tyrants. I
felt very confidant in a victory today, the omens were good, the time was right and our dice were
ready. But the Phats surprised us; with horror one ogre bull unit came down our left flank. With
two other units backing them up. went after the back-ups he had no choice because
was destroyed totally by the bulls and failed to stop them taking out archer bodyguard
and our . wisely flew away with the power of the cloak. When he landed and
joined me and my bodyguard, he muttered something in ancient Khemri that I could not quite
understand.
But more woes were too come. The Maneaters and the Ironguts led by the Tyrant himself and the
battle standard bruiser with a butcher (holding something rather large and spiky) along for the ride
came down and smashed our line to bits. Bone and gold flung into the air our shields and armour no
defence. The maneaters armed with handguns bashed new holes into the skulls of tomb
guard and himself was planted with the butt end of the ogre battle standard until it broke
him in two. I find it to depressing to comment on our poor skeleton warriors demise after.
With this turn of events , king of kings, grand son of was very angry. I could from
(my safe but threatened soon to be smashed) line see his flaming red eyes and the smoke of vengeance
coming out of his mouth. With great vigour he turned his holy tomb guard around and took on the
nearby Rinox rider. Making the thing turn and flee he continued his attack into the ironguts flank.
With no stubborn Maneaters and the Tyrant far away on the other flank dispatched his
foes and broke the unit and hacked them all down.
The Maneaters found themselves in combat with and his tomb guard. They tried the
hardest to stop the assault but it was no good. Even with the battle standard blowing (which looked
strangely like the Tyrants underwear) in the wind they fled. More cattle for and his guard
of honour.
I have to admit if it was not for our beloved king I would be over worked with incantations and
healing balms right now. Not to mention plastering my own bone back together…
Massacre Victory to ( 2250 point battle )
None.

We re-painted our beloved , is pleased with the efforts. And our holy
Romainian tomb guard had their shield painted with the cloth of honor. Thus bringing them up to
the same painting standard as the rest of our army.

Well I say “new” but really they have been commissioned for sometime. Gathering the dust of the
years. With the Mighty Empires campaign we decided to recruit them yet again and try them out
yet again. Our king was not impressed, but at least we have a unit now. I will push for more
training and deployment.

Our beloved empire now enters a period of peace. Our armies stop patrolling, our weapons cleaned
and stored and our lords and king sleep. It is said that itself is starting a great journey to lands far
far away to gain all the things lost. On its return there is get joy, but our armies will not be
awakening until after the joy elapses. Unless of course… Something else happens…

Nothing else happened. Ra is enjoying his journey and to my knowledge he has returned to us
already. The powerful Ra has gained the things lost but is sad and worried about other events. Events
beyond our understanding, events that involve other gods and their powers. We can only wait for
our blessed god to gain the upper hand and solve the things affected him.

Pictures of our main force at this years Dogcon campaign. May our army destroy all? Or at very
least destroy the Army of Phat!.. Never live that down if we don’t.

Well, well holy trip did do some nice things for our empire. The addition of a new unit of
carrion I have to say is one of the nice things ever given to us since my new lion cloth cloak. Our
god must love us a lot.

Dogcon Test V
What can a Liche Priest say.. Other than “Vampires”. I have been told about these foul beings.
This is my first encounter with them. And I don’t want to see them again in a hurry. These unholy
dead have no fairness and no honour. Our Blessed King showed the way and charged the line of
undead. The loss of his holy tomb guard did not slow his anger. He slained the vampire but was
undone by shear numbers. We his holy priests did what we could in his absence I say Kelop fly off
cursing words at the horror of our fallen king. I was surrounded by the cursed undead. I had no
where to run a mass of zombies attacked me… I was undone…
I upon my remaking was told the next events. The foul dead crumbled but not enough. Their
knights remained and with that they gained the edge and won the day. I personally think we won, in
the war of the dead a fallen vampire is dead but a fallen king is redone. Curse these foul ones…

dwarfish decent even. The foul ratmen were cunning and out manoeuvred us. Deploying most of
their army on the right flank we quickly found ourselves in lots of trouble. Their warp-lighting
cannon deployed in a forest in which made it nearly impossible for us to destroy. Shot after shot of
warp light was shot from that forest blowing untold damage in our ranks. We dealt with their
gutter runners but their giant undead rat which we got down to one wound crumbled many. Damn
things these ratman with their warp magic and cunning deployment. The Grey Seer thundered out a
great plague that just about destroyed holy skeletons. The prince and his warriors soon
lost in combat. With this Ra-num had no choice but to fall back and wait for the enemy to come to
us. Of course this was not to be. And rightly so… The warlock engineer did kill himself though.
Squeaking a nasty death.. With the ground they achieved and the banner we lost the battle was in
their favour.

Titillating Delusions
is going well, this time we faced a Slaanesh daemonic horde. Ones
that look hmmmmm, very nice even to my long dead eyes. When I saw the daemon prince though I
nearly dropped my staff. Shame these foul ones are evil, corrupt and twisted. I look back on it now
with an unclouded mind, but then I was in a dream. The battle went bad our blessed arrows hit but
the magical wards of the deamons held up. When they hit it hurt... We could not even destroy a
daemonic chariot in the flank with three of our charioteers, no fault of theirs. Then when I had to
leave my faithful bodyguard in fear of being ripped apart by naked daemons, the daemonic prince
casted a spell of Titillating Delusions on me which was casted with irresistible force despite our
dispelling power. I was powerless and flew myself right into the heart of the foe. When I snapped
out of it and gained some sort of control of my senses it was too late. All I felt was a great blast and
I was gone… Later I learnt that it was the daemonic prince’s work. Another irresistible force spell
adding up to three this battle and no miscasts on their behalf. As also I learnt the remaining battle
was a fight for the end with our holy warriors against the naked daemonic foes. I had the impression
the prince was after me all alone!. My learned assures me it was my magical power over
our holy army. He must be right… At least I hope, such a union is impossible.

Through intense study we found out the name of the Daemonic Prince - -.. It’s a MAN..
Well that just takes ruins everything !!!.

Jungle Chaos Mortals ??

Jungle chaos mortals. How did they get here?… I was happy in this foe though, better than daemons
and foul Ratmen. The enemy sent their light cavalry forward. We could of just allowed their
invasion but no. Our blessed king sent his rightful order to slay all and gain some sort of honor in
this campaign. charged one chaos chariot and poisoned it to death. and
his holy tomb guard took the fight directly to leader of this jungle swarm. The Chaos Lord slashed
his magical blade through the air with little effect got a killing blow but the Lord saved it
lucky for him. But his death was only one turn away. The lord and his chosen knights routed,
rallied, and was charged again. The second combat was the same as the first but this time the lord’s
luck ran out and he was slain by holy blade. One thing though was against our favour,
the giant ape these mortals captured and tamed. It ran rings around our left flank and our screaming
skull catapult was lost to it and it engaged many of our forces to try to keep it away from our
middle. Time got ahead of us and night fell early stopping our many more victories.. Alas that’s
how it happens sometimes..

Tournament note: Took reinforcement B in this battle against my former ally.

Damn these wood elves. As soon as our holy has finished these
forest fools turn on everyone. Now we have to face his dragon which did so well when we were
allies. We pity fighting our former ally and our holy warriors had no stomach for it. Even with the
holy command of our holy king. exposed his flank to the wood elf dragon and soon
paid the price this led the dragon to destroy a lot of our army including and his bodyguard.
tried his claws to some wardancers but failed in its attempt which unfounatly
allowed them free to charge Ra-nums holy tomb guard when I was with them. I tried to fend the
many dancing attacks but it was folly. I felt the cold elven blade and fell. All I heard before my
demise was the screams of those same wardancers when my holy king was engulfed in anger. Our
losses were way too much and we lost the fight. Traitors gain no honor though…

Oh Hell, not again. the daemonic prince and his naked Slaanesh devils. But now we are getting
used to this. But we knew there was little hope for a victory. And no doubt the evil will come
after me again… Ugh such a thought disturbs me still. We deployed as best as we could.
deployed with the skeleton warriors to try to catch the daemons off guard. too command of
our holy tomb guard. This though did nothing to the daemons at all. They just moved to the other
flank away form our powerful king. Our shots were better in this battle than the one before. And
we won a combat when we should not have involving our charioteers and a unit of the foul naked
ones. But when the time came the evil and cowardly got off another “Titillating Delusion”
and me and our holy tomb guard went under its spell, even could not restrain himself. In a
very bad charge me and the tomb guard where flanked and attacked to our front by
hideously deformed daemons both mounted daemons on steeds of lust and large flesh filled daemons
of mortal desire. I fell and it was over.
What I understand happened next was that at least the daemonic battle standard was destroyed before
the tomb guard and Ra-atem fell to the demonic might. Damn these demonic foes and their
powerful army.

Hmmmm… More tits.
Zero composition army. Demonic Legion lists should all be disallowed..
Tournament note: we get both reforcements this game

Ogres Nice.. Finally an army we can truly fight well against. But foul luck hit us early on, with
our screaming skull catapult misfiring and blowing up. Damn!, we needed that so much against this
Ogre army. Now the ogres will push on with vigor. We prepared to defend ourselves for the
onslaught. We sent one of our charioteers forward and charged the ogre bull battle line. They fled
but to our luck the panic caused a lot of trouble to the Ogre line. The charioteers were of course
destroyed but they did their job. It came to pass that there was a problem looming. An Ogre bull
unit made its way forward and our other charioteers could not charge because the tyrant and his
ironguts would just counter charge and wreak terrible damage on us. So charged
in and did well.. That was until the Tyrant did come upon its flank. was ripped
to boney bits but to our amazement the Tyrant and his ironguts overran just two inches. This was it
and took the unfortunate event to an advantage. and his tomb guard charged them
in there flank and of course they fled knowing they had no chance against our powerful and beloved
king and his holy guard. It was to no avail though because I had a cunning plan. I willed our carrion
onto the routing Tyrant and they did what Ra-num and his guard did not do. The Tyrant was
dead… One less Ogre Tyrant is good that’s what I say…

12-8 tournament result ( 2500 point battle )

Carrion came close. But they really just did the running down not the
slaying.
Bad terrain again, lake was to close to center. Which annoyed both me and
Joel?

Lizardman on Stone ?

Tournament note: we get both reforcements this game

Lizardman oh glorious lizardman. We know this enemy well; our screaming skull catapult started
the battle off by squashing some saurus. We fought hard on the left flank but the stegidon got
two…Soooo close charged off that ended both our charioteer units. turned around and charged
the fast footed jaguar charmed saurus hero but the coward turned its tail and ran. turned its
attention towards the menacing stegidon and caught it in the flank. But too our dismay ended up
nearly being destroyed by the thing. At the end helped out. Ra-atem and his
skeleton warriors made contact with the Kroxigors and a long hard battle ruptured between them.
The Kroxigors where beaten twice but held on with some great leadership rolls. When their number
reached one they finally routed leaving behind the broken skeleton warriors to our disliking. But the
time came when and his tomb guard tried to turn the tide and charged the weakened saurus
unit. It was no match and was destroyed. But the overrun was t0o short to make contact with the
Saurus Old blood and all his fellow lizardman and their battle standard. And thus when they counter
charged with the Old bloods Blessing of the Gods still intact there was little even the might of
could do. collar failed our holy king and he was lost. With all the slashing lizardman
attacks the tomb guard soon followed their king to the afterlife. Very hard battle indeed.

Again Bad terrain, with the forest just in the 12 inches of the middle.

Tournament note: Took reinforcement B in this battle hardly and Dark elf magic

Dark elves amassed against us. We tunneled and the first time
this campaign. It backfired on us we misfired with both tomb scorpions was placed behind a
forest in our deployment zone. And dug too deep and was lost; we thought that was all but
then our screaming skull catapult misfired twice also making it pretty much useless. Our chariots
took out the dark riders on either flank but the chariots on our right flank found them in a forest
when they also destroyed a ‘gone’ stupid cold one chariot. The Dark elf highborn flew down and hit
and his tomb guard with great courage. But found himself out-numbered and outclassed
and fled only to be cut down. The corsair unit took the charge from and his skeleton
warriors… We thought it would be a rundown but an assassin jumped out and cut down
with great skill at arms. stepped to his prince’s aid but was too cut to boney bits. The
warriors held their shields high and it seemed to defect the assassins blows better than attacking. We
knew the assassin was somewhere? But it still surprised us!. saw and felt the loss of his son.
He moved his holy tomb guard over to save his warriors from a nasty doom. The battle was hopeless
for the corsairs and the assassin they all were run down and slain. Or that’s what we thought… the
body of the assassin was never found. What an honorable opponent indeed. We will wait to see him
again, in the shadows.

Wardancers Luck
Tournament note: Took reinforcement B in this battle, but I could have done with the scroll

Wood elves and we have to fight them in the forests. Why do we bother engaging such foes in their
homeland? Are they to cowardly to engage us in our beloved lands? We got a screaming skull hit on
the Treeman that was hiding in a small wood by targeting the wardancers around it. The flaming
skull did a total of four wounds that nearly took the blasted thing down. We paid for that folly.
Our charioteers took a chance and charged a unit of Dryads failing and falling apart. The forests
moved toward us with a nasty glee. We tried to force to go into the wardancer
generals unit. This was undone by the two dispel scrolls of our foes and our poor incantations rolls.
Thus the wardancer general came thundering in with a tide of blades; again our beloved kind collar
failed him greatly. Our king among kings was undone by luck and and the skeletons
warriors where left to defend too no avail. Both our kings and our princes curses had no effect
either. The gods turned their gaze on us here, maybe in mock of our ever to much invading arm of
war. The wardancer did of course not stop they went across and tried it with our tomb guard too.
But they stood on with a great effort. was stranded and lost to the tide of Dryads. The carrion
saw their end with a wood elf champion on foot. Eh the end already… What can a priest say…

We found this tourney hard to play in. No more DOGCON at all… That’s it !!.

In we saw a dark elf assassin with great skill.

The daring dark elf cut down and personally. Then gave our remaining skeleton
warriors a fight to remember. Now we should be bitter about such an action. But No… We are not.
I have been instructed to give an “honorable mention” to this shadowy dark elf. Though intense
study reading what remained of the notes the dark elf army left on the lost battlefield that day I
found his name... “Sembor”..

Sometime during the Dogcon campaign we noticed that Cet the Undying lost one of his severed
goblin hands. We tried putting it back in place but… We could not find where it belonged on the
Bone Giant. A very weird turn of events. So we did the only thing we could.. We left it off in case
another one decided to detach itself in the tide of war…

The baring of lepered skin over the necks of horses is an ancient Romainian custom still used today
among the mortal tribes. The understanding is that when the skin is lost or ripped the spirit of the
lepered is transferred to the horse. We the holy dead have also honored this ancient custom. Our
charioteer captains from both of our charioteer units will both be given a leppered skin over each
horse. May the spirits take our captains horses…
CLASH OF THE TITANS
The following five battles were played over three days. Saturday 16th, Sunday 27th and Monday 28th
of February 2008. All these battles are 2000 point pitched battles.
Named characters are allowed. The casket of souls “Was” fielded.

Nurgle Awaiting

An army of Nurgle, the chaos god of plague and disease awaits us on the battlefield. The chaos lord
mounted on a daemonic mount moved forward. And with a great magical shadow, charged into one
of our beloved carrion units. The poor carrion were ripped down to their mummified feathers and
the victorious lord of chaos overran right into our only chariot unit, dangerously close to our casket
of souls. But strangely (the holder of the casket) was not stirred? I was deeply troubled
personally..
Then with our own great effort willed our skeleton warriors into the flank of the chaos lord
and routed the lord with numbers alone. Alas the lord ran too far but we were not giving up the
fight. opened the casket and the Light of Death decimated the chaos line. The souls of the
dammed even harassed the chaos giant gnawing at it’s long legs. I had to laugh, but again Meaker was
unmoved. The chaos line moved closer and saw his time to cause great death upon this
enemy, willing himself into the chosen knights of Nurgle with his chariot of fire. But alas even
with the death of one he failed to rout them! And the giant was so close.. And the memories of his
last encounter with a giant were still strong.
The chaos Lord rallied which was unfortunate but not unlikely. The chaos giant came bellowing
down onto and his chariot. But once it got into combat it was still screaming and
just had to steady himself and his chariot from the over realming noise. All I could do is just stand
and watch.. was still undeterred..
Our skeleton warriors charged the chaos lord again and a huge battle emerged. The lord took our
skeletons down but I came to their rescue to heal their ever losing numbers. Poor was lost
to the attacks of the giant and the chosen knights, his beloved chariot of fire was broken and he then
fell to the dreaded crumble. BUT… His hate was so strong that both the giant and the knights
succumbed to his curse. The chosen knights disappeared completely and the giant took a massive
amount of wounds… But still standing only just.
took on the giant and slayed the beast with his destroyer and the chaos marauders took a
screaming catapult hit and ran never to return.
When the dust settled the lord and a unit of beastmen is all that was left of the mighty chaos horde.
And to my astonishment was still completely unmoved?..
20-5 tournament result (won by 1100 victory points)

The Goblin Death Star”

Tournament note: Messages – Use three models as messages. Get any three messages off
the opponent’s table edge to gain 100victory points each +50 each if you can get off the
middle of the opponents table edge.

Our messengers are carrying very important plan they stole from these very night goblins.. Hence why they are annoyed. The
goblin messages are for as we know have nothing important??. Maybe it’s a counter threat!!.

Night goblin army of murdering mushroom madness!!. Twelve goblin fanatics three bolt throwers a
doomdiver a giant masses of night goblins and a unit of squig riders to boot.. Oh did I mention the
three goblin shaman and the proud goblin bigboss on a giant squig too… Oh sweet Settra’s golden
underwear!.
Now now reacted… If only a blink in disbelief..
Our plan was to send our carrion forward and draw out as many of the fanatics as possible then hope
they turn and decimate their legions of green!. I cunningly (if I say so myself) joined my archer
bodyguard in the brick building in our deployment zone. Rather nice inside I should also say, but
the painting art was to be corrected?.
But we too had to worry about their messengers and ours. Theirs deployed on our left flank hiding
with their giant. Ours took a swim in the large river cutting right across our right edge. Our
carrion tactic worked like a dream, one unit of carrion made six fanatics quibble towards our line.
The carrion were utterly destroyed of course. The other carrion flew to threaten the ever moving
goblin messagers but also keeping a mummified hawk eye on the giant and the goblin unit deployed
behind.
The fanatics to our luck mostly swivelled back and the couple that did not I took care of with my
archers and my incantation power.
Our screaming skull catapult at this stage did the unthinkable… It Hit!!. Dead on the goblin big
boss in front of his massing army. The shot missed him and squashed his giant sqig into the ground.
With a squelch that must have been a lot of swearing and cursing in the dark tongue the boss turned
and ran behind his ever marching force. Hehehe that was very funny indeed however was
not amused.
Our other carrion unit made the goblin messengers flee and cut one down. The three fanatics from
the closing night goblin unit were released but luckily our carrion survived. They then dispatched
the other two massagers avoiding both the giant and the chain swinging fools.
Around this time and pooped up and despite
deployment on the small lake dispatched both the doom diver and the bolt thrower placed beside it.
Then they took out the other two bolt throwers before they could do something to counter our three
gnoblars messengers from swimming to safety (with plans for the massive night goblin death star
hidden in one of their underwear… Yuck!!).
With the last three remaining goblin fanatics smashing into our chariots and the unfortunate loss of
to the last of the squig ridders it was all over.. We won the day totally…
And the goblin big boss that fled never returned… We found his body behind the lines wrapped in a
ball and chain from a rather happy fanatic corpse… Silly things these goblins.
agreed…

Our gnoblars messengers did not return with the plans. What happened to them?. We have too find out..

20-5 tournament result (won by 1800 victory points)

None.
The Light of Death killed many goblins.. Lots and lots...
Zero composition army… 12 fanitics,4 bolt throwers and a doom diver.

Again we faced a rather common sight, the Ogre horde from the same tribe we faced twice before.
Different yes but still the same tribe. We realised that very soon. That’s where the gnoblars
messengers went after they escaped the battlefield against the goblin horde. Now these ogres had the
evil night goblin death star plans?. We had to get it back at all costs, or try to find it amongst what
dead we could kill.
I have to say I used the carrion well this battle. I know for a fact that the Ogre Tyrant was getting
very annoyed at their constant flying behind their battleline distracting their battle plans and their
steady march to our doom.
must have read my mind or saw my plan before I could truly implement its design. He
charged into the flank of one gnoblar unit but even though not doing much at all he made it flee.
Thanks to mainly the gnoblar unit next to it turning to fire a volley of sharp stuff at the carrion
unit near it.
Ra-atem then charged the man-eaters in the flank Being two remaining due to a good magic phase
and a good catapult shot. Killing them he counter charged the bull and battle standard unit with help
from who got them in their flank in our movement phase. With an impressive display
of flail-ship and a blasting from the burning wheels of the chariot of fire (that put the effort against
the gnoblars to shame) the bulls and their battle standard fled and were cut down by . Ra
atem was too puffed out to respond?.
Our skeleton warriors took a charge from an ogre bull unit and could not fight their way out of a
coffin made by a blind sqig?. They fell in great number, Ra-atem made a charge into the rear of
these ogre bulls saving our skeletons from a new death because they could not hit or defend against a
thing?.
The Tyrant fled and his remaining units stood far across the battlefield. They took a personal attack
against one of our carrion units destroying it in the end.
I think the Tyrant was happy after that… We found the night goblin death star plans after all.
They were with the remains of the gnoblar trappers. Very had to understand we have taken them
back with us for further study. I only hope a weakness can be found…

20-5 tournament result (won by 750 victory points)

gets an ogre bit on his chariot… great work…
The Light of Death did 2 wounds to some man-eaters and killed 6 trappers.
Good game…

Well well another painting score at in another campaign. This time we have the Statue of Ra.. That
must of added to our fame.. No Really ??.
Hmmmm... What can we do? We face a veil army of forest spirits, no wood elves at all. Two
Treeman (one ancient) eight units of dryad’s rwo Treekin and two branchwraiths. Dear oh dear..
Luckily the two lakes on the battlefield turned out to be impassable. So we used this to our favour. I
deployed myself and my bodyguard behind our closest lake. and his warriors deployed near
me and our screaming skull catapult. We sent our carrion far across each of our flank. The rest of
our troops we place close to try to block the ever moving dryads and Treeman from overrealming
and destroying us..
must have been on the ball. He opened his beloved casket at very good times and got under
the magical defences of the branchwraiths. The Light of Death slayed many dryads and took their
fight ability down, thank .
took a gamble which paid off thanks to me and my cloaks of the dunes landing me near the
middle wood (Sometime I myself underestimate my cunning and intelligence). charge the
flank of the Treekin hoping his chariot of fire wound burn the massive Treekin down. But alas it
failed and then he was counter charged by dyrads. His chariot was ripped apart and he was lost.
Dispite is annoyance is curse did nothing. I flew back after I saw a rather annoyed Treeman ancient
stare at me form the far wood..
It came down to us trying to use our carrion to make some of the dryads withdraw away form us.
This worked but sealed our carrions doom. Our beloved and powerful king himself took the threat
on. He advanced himself and his warriors into the wood and stood only meters away from the
Treeman ancient.
In a cunning and scary move the Treeman ancient moved across and his Treekin move forward into
the wood. This is it…
With a loud cry from our King, he and his warriors smashed into the Treekin cut deep
into their wooded forms.. This was way too much for them to bear and they fled and we cut them
down. Now they ended up out of the wood, leaving the Treeman ancient behind.. But unfortunaly
they where surrounded by dryads…
The counter charge was bad… many warriors found that the dryad blows were too strong for our
armour and fell. But Ra-num king of king’s defender of the sands stood like a great king of old.
Personally slaining three and making us win by a musicians blow…
They made one unit flee. Then turned to face the other. At this time the Treeman ancient came
thundering into their flank and even more dryads came from behind???.
But the damage was not enough to crumble them… Our king and his warriors stood firm. Broken
yes but not destroyed.
Draw…What else can we say…

10-10 tournament result (lost by 85 victory points)

None.
12 Dryads fell to the Light of Death; good I say Dam trees…
Zero composition army… So many Dryads Eh…
Tournament note: Battle supremacy: You only need to take table quarters this game which ever player controls
the most wins and gets 15 battle points the loser gets 5. On a draw of table quarters the play with the most unit
strength in base to base with the objective in the middle of the battlefield wins..

We got to deploy our Statue of Ra for this games objective. Nice..

Empire.. A very well rounded force to fight. And we had to take table quarters which left a bitter
taste in my mouth. like always look calm and studied, I wonder what will ever get the
ancient liches full attention? We started my advancing straight toward our lovely and well crafted
statue of our beloved god. The empire seemed uncaring about our motives; they in all fairness will
understand that taking the statue is folly if they just block our claming of our table quarters while
keeping their own.. No matter one thing they will never get is our beloved statue.
The cannons and the rocket machine fired. was blown clean off his chariot as a well shot
cannon ball smashed it frame. Another cannon ball went though warrior unit and
himself. A warrior rightly took the hit and was no more than dust after its shot. Things look
grim.
But then hope came again. The casket opened by and was failed to be stopped. In its terror
the Light of Death took out a cannon and a detachment of gunners (which after seeing their fellow
man being ripped to pieces by tormented spirits) fled never to return. and
both tunnelled up on the third turn and found themselves in combat with detachments. With
their scorpion limbs and great strength they disposed of these poor excuse for warriors and set their
sight on the war machines.
The elector count flew his powerful griffin out right in front of our chariots within charging range
of and the casket. The last empire cannon misfired and failed to get our charioteers in the
flank. Taking this opponuity the charioteers charged into the general and his griffon. Our
charioteers fought like devils... It was a sight to behold indeed. They dispite the impact hits took
down the griffon, leaving the elector count shocked to say the least. It was over for him and our
chariots ran him down but unfortunely they ran right into the woods but they where not destroyed
completely. Mind you the swordsmen who were in the wood at the time came into a nasty surprise.
The inner circle knights with the battle standard then came down with the intent on slaying Meaker
and the casket. But with another unstopped blast from the Light of Death the last of the inner circle
knights where cut apart. But the battle standard remained… He charged Meaker and his guards. His
Hammer of Judgement struck home twice, but undead form was unaffected. Then the
wounds caused bounced off his Collar of Shapesh. The battle standard look on in horror as the two
well disciplined casket guards readied their great weapons. In two well timed blows the battle standard
was cut in two, was saved. Meanwhile Ra-num took his warriors passed the statue and slayed
a unit of swordsman thus using his “My will be Done’s” on both and
to charge and take out the remain fleeing detachments and war-machine crew. I was there as well just
to make sure it was done and the death was inflicted.
At the end their was not much left and my opponent conceded the battlefield. Rather deceit of him
too I might add..
15-5 tournament result (won by a massacre)
In one word …

The Light of Death won the day, two cannons one cannon crew, the rocket
machines crew, mounted empire hero and unit of inner circle knights… oh and 5 hangunners…
Lucky… Very Lucky indeed… Very silly mission for a tournament though.

CLASH OF THE TITANS 2008 Results

The following is our result of the Clash of the Titans tournament 2008

1st …
Will now be known as Meakers Tournament…

Tournament note: very bad scoring system.

To the end of The Clash of the Titans campaign we noticed and had
some damage caused. We quickly realised that the foot of steeped on them. Poor
copped the brunt of the force losing one of his horns and having his one limbs broken.
came out of it better with only a spear tip being lost. Afterwards we fixed them both up.
Now they are smiling again… Which is good to hear..
“My elite guards put an end to the mortal who dared to charge me in ENTRY ONE HUNDRED
AND SEVENTY FIVE. The pitiable fool, now I have him right where we will do his best. I
made a special place for him you see. One of the first he will always be, His hand strached
out trying too escape his torment. But No!... Its not that easy… he has to pay for his sin…
Every time our blessed casket opens he will feel the pain of his death, the agony of his life
and the bitterness of his failure”..
MEAKER HOLDER OF THE CASKET

is awoken and a pact was written between the Borrow King and our great and powerful
king. Now our army will merge with host to destroy both our enemies. Battles played
with in command will be documented but adding only to his own victories.

hen the sky was young and the Khemri empire was at its height, and the new unsettled lands to the north were conquered by
The Great Amenemhetum. Many young princes of Khemrian birth became the new kings of the land. Some failed and many
more took their place. Some of these Barrow Kings are very well known such as The Black Scarab, The Iron Scorpion and The
Blood Skull, large tombs have been written about their kingship in the unsettled lands. But one king who did achieve some
greatness was written out of his glory. This king’s quest for everlasting life over-shadowed the normal Khemrian desire. And
plunged himself and his subjects into an unwanted unlife.

his is the story of The Jade Asp.

he Jade Asp started off as a power hungry Khemri prince named Marja. He had a birthright to some degree, born a distant
relative of the great and powerful Namer king of the nomadic Romanians before they where conquered by the Khemri Empire.
Although his birthright was important the story and belief in Namer filled little joy in that time.

eeing little hope in greatness where he was Marja thrusted himself into the newly conquered barbaric lands. Marja like many of
his fellow princes thrived in these lands. He was strong in arms and good with law. The gobliniods of the area were bitterly crushed.
And a small empire was born. Marja keep it safe for years to come. The other princes found the goblinoid tribes far more
challenging. Marja declared it was his skill and power, a tribute to his greatness. Other princes thought the goblins weak and
easily crushed.

rinces quickly became untrustworthy between each other. Tempers grew and fighting for a common good was soon forgotten. This
was first found so true within Marjas realm. For the gobliniod tribes did not return or retaliate and the armies of Marja could be
used to ally their king’s favourite princedom in friendship. This in turn truly pitted one princedom even more in competiontion
with another.

ot only these events but the behaviour of Marja himself became erratic. The prince started planing his afterlife sooner than any
before him. His serfs founded a very large jade mine in the mountains of his empire. This new substance pushed even more power to
the already power hungry Marja. Khemri soon started to export the new found Jade and use it in major constructions due to its
long life and beautiful green glow.

arja renamed himself “The Jade Asp” in a large ceremony and demanded a huge palace made of solid jade from his subjects.
He pushed his people to mine day and night in his blessed jade mine. Even disbanding some of his army to increase production.
Many died hidieous deaths in the jade mines. Consumed by the fumes of rock and the dust of jade. Stories soon come to Asps
court that the dead did not rot. They just remained dead. Forever…

his would be disturbing to any king indeed, but not for The Jade Asp. His mind was only on his own immortally. In the end he
cared very little for his subjects or the other princedoms. He demanded he be infected by jade dust just like the miners and upon his
death be encased in living jade. His priests of course obeyed his every wish. Even embedding a huge giant Asp in their great king
upon his death.

hen the other princes heard all this they all became allies against their fellow prince. Every one of them felt the displeasure and
over demanding threats of this Jade Asp. Under one banner they all moved against him. But when they thought they had a long
and winded fight on their hands they found The Jade Asp’s lands dead…

n the horror The Jade Asps kingdom was destroyed from within. And his people slaved to constant death. The jade mine the Asp
loved so much dried up. And the Asps priests told that in the end when word came that all was lost the Asp demanded to die. And
he was interred as his instructions immediately. The princes had little choice but to raise the jade palace to the ground and split his
remaining kingdom up into their own. No prince took over from The Jade Asp’s Empire, no one prince ruled over his once
powerful empire ever again..

ut this was not the end for The Jade Asp.

enturies later during the Nemesis Crown Wars a Liche Priest from the Empire of Ra found the lost tomb of The Jade Asp.
Intrigued to say the least the Priest dispelled the ancient holding rights and found the pure jade sarcophagus of The Asp. Under
the orders of his blessed king he took the remains back with the army of Ra’s long march back to Romainia.

here they lay for years to come. Some of the wisest viewed the sarcophagus of The Asp and re-read the inscriptions copied from
around the tomb. At lengths end when all was scribed and sorted and the right protections, cast the sarcophagus of The Jade Asp
was opened…

pact was wrote between The Jade Asp and The Great Ra-num. The Asp will be allowed to wage war with the help of the
armies of Ra. The long dead miners of The Asp were raised to serve their master. The broken Jade statues from the destroyed Jade
palace. These statues were put on giant bone ribcages and carried to war by zombies with glowing jade bodies.

he Princes of Ra joined though the glory of war as Barrow Kings with the grand Tomb Guard massing as Grave Guard with
better armour and might. The light cavalry left their arrows behind to move with greater speed. Carrion joined with the strength and
desire of the bat.

he Jade Asp himself took a skull of power to fuel his incantation power. And the Golden Chariot of Ra has been bounded with
a Wight King to race the body of The Asp away should it fall…
Emperors Legion
The following five battles were played over two days. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of March 2008.
All these battles were all 2000 pitched battles.
Named characters are allowed. The casket of souls was fielded.
( In fact the same army list from Clash of the Titans )

The Great Maw is awake and a hulking mass of ogres have come by the violent god’s words.
was unmoved and opened up the casket of souls to wicked effect. A massive amount of wounds were
wort upon the ogre’s battle line as the light of death sucked many ogre souls. One lone butcher was
ripped apart by the tormented sprits. We had much reliance on our screaming skull catapult and
needed its powerful hits to help slay these massasive ogres before they got to us. But the poor thing
was strained too much and broke. charged forward but failed in arms and his chariot of fire
bunt no ogre. He crumbled and his curse meaning nothing. The ogre Tyrant moved though terrain
with a special item which we suspected so. He held our left flank in a tight fight. My bodyguard
destroyed by his hands when his gnoblars came down to give him some numbers to help. The
maneaters where dealt with by and his warriors and the carrion were used to ran them down
before they could rejoin the battle. A gouger came out of nowhere and to our annoyance our
charioteers which where ready to sweep the beast aside failed their charge. My incantations meant
nothing trying to will them in again. But the casket of souls and its light of death struck the gouger
down in one mighty school of tormented souls. We ended the ogre busier life and snatched the battle
standard. If the Tyrants life could not be ended the next best thing was the battle standard. We stood
back a glowed with the victory… If this keeps up the casket of souls will be unbeatable…

16 - 4 tournament result (won by a solid victory)

The Light of Death sucked the souls of ogre kind. 4 wounds to a Butcher,
8 to Ironguts, 3 to Man-eaters, 4 to Leadbleachers and 4 to the one lone Gouger… Hahaha

More ogres… The Great Maw must be upset with us killing and slaying so many ogres before. Two
Big Ogre units massed against us. A slave giant and a hunter rushed our left flank. The slave giant
was wounded 3 times by my body guard archers then casket of souls sucked the giant down.
and his holy warriors of took out the large bull unit. was smashed by the Tyrant and
some gnoblars. But this just allowed Ra-num and his men to flank them and make them flee. Then
the carrion where willed to charge the fleeing Tyrant and his fellow Ironguts and ran them down. A
great tactic indeed and one that we have mastered brilliantly. We knew we were on top when the
Great Maw itself due disliking to the ogres efforts. That resulted in one of the butchers being blown
to bits with the great Maws unqueeching hunger. This allowed us to quickly gain the magical
advantage to achieve another victory to . Again in the end we were very happy with the battles
result. And all the ogre souls were filling the casket up very nicely indeed.

20 – 0 tournament result (won by a massacre)

The Light of Death sucked 5 wounds from a Hunter and did 3 wounds
from a Slave Giant.

Skaapie Returns”

Ah... Wood elves… Hmmm.. They came thick and fast. Some waywatchers deployed right in the
forest dividing our deployment. Boy! So close to and our . They moved to
the edge of the forest and shoot their nasty killer blowing arrows at and our
too. All the arrows hit but their aim as way to good and only one hit the rest thudded into
the casket, lucky no wound was scored. A wood elf noble stood out and fired a Hail of Doom but
declined to aim at our and shoot my archer bodyguard instead. We shoot back at the
noble wounding him once but we could bot stop him running down and slaying our screaming skull
catapult. Ra-num and his skeletons charged him and “just like a wood elf” he ran screaming. We
made him run again off the battlefield. moved across and I forced him into the
waywatchers killing them all in a bloodbath. willed his chariot of fire into some wild-
riders coming down our left flank. His chariot failing to wound and only slaying one, our prince
found himself stuck out numbered and crumbled. His curse totally ineffective. This allowed the
remaining wild riders to come down our flank driving us crazy. The Treeman came stooping down
the battlefield and rooted our charioteers. managed to get a light of death off and the damned
souls struck the Treeman with vicious effect. The souls ripped bark and sap from the monster.
With one wound remaining the Treeman hopped off to the far forest to hide, damn one more
wound… The two wood elf mages hid in the wood elf forest placed in the middle of the battlefield.
And with their magic helped move units around but luckily we stopped all efforts in this. But took a
lot of damage from the forest close to our battleline. Our last charioteer charged and ran down a
wood elf archer unit, then was mobbed by wardancers. and his skeletons were joined by me
when I had to leave my archer bodyguard for more numbered protection. I stood right next to my
king and saw first hand his annoyance. Our king finally saw some action with ripping some dryads
apart. But in the end that was that… Very hard battle indeed..
10 – 10 tournament result (total draw)

The Light of Death sucked 5 wounds from the Treeman. And slayed 5
Archers.

Empire formed their ranks against us. But we all were not moved. left his seat (something
different and not seen very often) and stood away in the forest near the . No cannon
could see him deep in the forest. I joined my learnered friend in the same forest with my bodyguard.
We found the steam tank advancing with the empire Grand Master in tow with his knights and
Warrior Priest. They had their eye on our beloved casket of souls no doubt. The wizard that was
with the empire force stopped all our Lights of Death bare one. This sent a crossbowman to his
torment. took out a detachment and then came down a blocked the
knights in combat, not for long though. Poor dug too deep and was lost..
One of our carrion units destroyed the cannon after its first dud shot. The other just was a pain. Ra-
num and his skeletons had to engage the steam tank and took a very long time to destroy it. The
armour on the thing was of great quality and even the destroyer that our blessed king wielded and
attacking normally could at times fail to penetrate at all. But thank after al long fight the thing
of metal fell.. And then took his attention too the empire battle standard bearer. How brave
he was.. Standing tall and strong… One swipe and his mortal life was no more…
The empire line broke and and his brave warriors found themselves again into a long fight.
A unit of flagellamts frenzied with crazed minds threw themselves upon his line. would of
not cared a jot but for the reason that their was more deserving foes to fight.
The knights with the grand master and the warrior priest drew closer to end..
blocked the unit from charging the casket but this did not stop the grand master and the warrior
priest to charge themselves. We readied ourselves and it came to pass.. The Grand Master on his
trusted steed, lance in hand charged Meaker and the casket. The warrior priest went for and
his chariot of fire..
The Grand Master underestimated the resolve of guards and got his lance locked in one of
their great weapons. The steed knocked the guard down but the other guard sliced the Master in two.
With a thud the empire lost their Grand Master..
The Warrior Priest used everything he had against . Even using some strange device that
swapped stats with our beloved prince. But despite all this the priest was just not up for the challenge
and Ra-atem ran him down when his courage failed. But alas this meant the was into the
knights, his chariot of fire finally crumbling due to the warbanner the knights had. Our just and
honorable prince soon followed and his curse hearing no mortal ears.. This meant only one thing alas
a charge against our
The knights passed their terror and went in. The one remaining guard was slain and himself
was wounded. The weight was too much and the ancient liche fell to dust.
When the last Flagellents was slain and the dust settled on the battle field the empire lost. But our
caskets loss cut deep into our overall victory.. It was so close… So close…

13 – 7 tournament result (won by a Solid Victory)

The Light of Death killed one crossbowman… Oh..

Oh hum painting score again at in another campaign. Fellow players liked our converted constructs.

List of the losses our beloved army of suffered against this new vampire threat…

The loss of our beloved king and his skeleton holy guard, and his chariot of fire, Our
skeleton warrior unit, our screaming skull catapult, my honorable archer bodyguard, and his
casket, whose scorpion blades saw little wounds, our carrions crumbled
forms and me eaten by some new beast of the vampires…

My mistake was not seeing the disaster of our armies crumbling demise before hand. It could have
been worse.. was not destroyed completely and did well cutting down
the vampire skeleton champion again and again and again… Even with a weapon skill of six..

Side note.. We lost.. Big time…

35/51 …

Totally un-enjoyable. Compistion totally unfair…

Our armies are in our holy tombs and our mighty war machine sleeps. and the greater gods are
concerned about other things. Their gaze is set upon a game in the greater internet. Damn anything
that takes holy gaze from us. We pray for unlife again.

The Nameless One has done it again. It was hurt our beloved great god again. It has spread lies and
betrays all. It keeps the holy spawn of our god and refuses to see any logic. This will continue for
sometime until Ra besieges the power of all the greater gods against the Nameless One.
This time a judgment will be made by all the greater gods and a written contract will be brought.
With luck the foul Nameless One will lose all rights to Ra’s spawn and they will be given to his
holy care. Such a day will be grand indeed.

A fresh breeze blows in the Tomb as the bolted doors are flung open. Our old and ancient bones
creek once more. The cobwebs disperse and our mummified bodies are anew again. A long time we
have not seen the light of day. Longer still have our armies stirred in mass, we eagerly rise to
WAR!.

Very interesting take on a campaign. We the great forces of are overjoyed over this new type of
War. We have marched our forces out once again and watch with glee at our first opponent.
Stallandor (Ken Fenris) is our first opponent with wood elves. We will put our force together with
great cunning and will push our advantage against these wood elves. May we make it to the next
round.

Ist game of the campaign.

Despite being terrified of Matts Basket at Coles, and the Tomb King order - my
was tuned to "Super reroll" and I really contained the magic phase, dropped
his chariots early and was on top, so went for the big win. was stuck in his Tomb
Guard unit that had a forest chasing its front arc all game and didn't account for much,
and with positioning I beat the other tomb guard unit by racking up a slaughter on the
charge with the Treeman, Eternal Guard and 5 Wardancers. So I went for the big win, but
fell a little short of the 16 points I wanted. I believe the Tomb Kings have a renewed respect
for short range shooting of elves, and the repercussions of not running them down when
they break!.

The Light of Death sucked nothing at all?..

2nd game of the campaign.

Today we faced the Dogs of War with two well-known regiments of renown the
led by and the led by . With the help of a truthsayer with two
shambeling hulks from far away lands. And a mighty wizard mercenary. Things looked bad this
army had everything the Dogs could really throw at an opponent. My poor magic defense did
nothing to stop the onslaught of these elite raiders. The truthsayer casted his healing spells which
confounded us with slaying even the small unit of duelists. tried to slay the wizard lord but
was destroyed himself before he could even strike. Our archers took out a shambeling hulk with
missile fire alone. We tried so hard to achieve somesort of advantage but the three forests hindered
our movement. Alas we could not gain a holy victory for .

7-13 tournament result ( minor victory loss )

The Light of Death sucked the souls of 10 light caverly Yay!.

We have been Knockout of “It’s a Knockout”. A foul sickness hit our lands, a unmoveable essence
stalked our brittle bones. Making them inactive for a brief time?. We found ourselves having to
travel far into other realms to make up for our armies inaction. the great and noble refused
and because of that we have been striped of our victory. No matter us noble dead can wait these
living and deamons out.

The mighty clash is at hand again. We dust off our bones and shine our blessed gold plate to bring

Border Class 50 gold crowns to the winner.

Skaven invade our newly formed border. We tried to divert their numbers but War was upon us.
We took great hope through our great and powerful King and his “Destroyer”. I sent our Carrion
into the warp-lighting cannon early only one shot rang through our lines before to fled away never
to be seen again. Our carrion where counter charged by plague censers and ripped to a bird. The good
thing was the fumes killed many of their own number by time popped up their
where half their number and charged to their deaths at the claws of the scorpion. We saw luck when
in their hast a warlock engineer “Squeaked” to much and Zapped himself with his powerful warp-
lighting but when the dust and fur fell the horde just continued and soon and his warriors
where head to head with the foe. His “Destroyer” cutting down ratman after ratman. Never missing
a neck, head or gut. The rat blood flowed allover us. Despite this he fought on and the end came
with us still in the heart of our foes.

Skaven again. This battle was harsh but good for our beloved empire. I witnessed many heroic acts
and personally saw storm from one side of the battle field to the other. I defended
my king’s holy honour, taking the blade into the foul stormvermin. I saw on his chariot
of fire charge a unit of plague censers then engaging the plague monks leading them. With our
mighty incantations from our High Liche it was over very soon. A massive victory to

We have this event so we fielded 6 tomb scorpions. Vince played the “A Long
long time ago” objective card; he can field 2 extra characters.

“Entertaining game to watch last night, first few turns was back and forth. That Hydra was a wall of 5-
headed goodness. Kept trimming away those pesky skellies even when they were being raised back. Hydra
also copped a flank from chariots only to see a 1, 2 and 2 for Matt's D3 impact hits. Solid work Matt.

Also solid work from Vince's Dread-chick, holding off chariots (with a TK hero there too?) and a Tomb
Scorpion on its flank. Took about 4 turns to rid herself of her enemies, but at least she came out on top.

Would've been a better result for Vince if he hadn't had lost his 2 Sorceresses in close combat. Then again
they weren't really casting much especially with those mighty rolls of 2 and 1. Speaking of which, those
crossbowmen really like to pack a punch with those crossbows. Plenty of hits, but also plenty of 1 and 2's
when it came to wound one of the Scorpions. You could see the look of frustration on the Druchii's faces
with all those Scorpions running amok behind their battle line.

Solid Victory to the Druchii over the army of Ra-num.”

More Skaven. I witnessed stomp down rat after rat only taking two warp-lighting
hits and a poison wind-globe from two rather close over confidant wind-globeadiers. and
his charioteers charged the nasty giant the foul ratman had as an ally. The great prince and his
charioteers alas could not take down the giant on the charge. A battle brewed until the giant smashed
the noble prince’s undead form into little boney bits!. But was not finished; his curse stuck
out and took the giant down!!. This allowed his two remaining charioteers free. They charged the
jezzails down and routed a unit of Clanrats… Only to run right into the fleeing Warlord, Who
stood his ground and destroyed them.

I need to report the following, one of our lost his axe… We put it back on.

PAINTED DARK ELVES !!... Cool..

We formed up our battle-line and ordered his charioteers in front of his warriors. First
turn “WAMMMO” our screaming skull catapult scored a hit on the foul war hydra, six wounds.
That was gone !.
We took incoming fire but held our line. Meeker opened the casket with nasty results. Slaying lots
of dark elves and pulling them into its internal torment. We were looking good, we commanded the
battlefield. Until… The Dread Lord and his highly trained Blackguard came to get us. had
no choice, he led his warriors and holy tomb guard into them. our blessed and holy king
was undone by this Dread Lord upstart !. When the unit of dark elf spearman with a assassin counter
charged it was all over. Which took a major victory to a bloody draw… These Dark elves are evil…
The Light of Death sucked many Dark elves !!..

No Lords for Empire.

I the holy son of our most blessed king was given the . I was ordered by the
words of my father himself to command the catapult. I did my lords bidding, but when I saw my
father and his holy tomb guard advance I knew I was needed. I flew into their number and help my
fellow warriors get to engage the enemy. We smashed into their battleline and slayed their leader
despite the greatswords holding their ground against out mighty hands. We found our tactics sound
and good and look forward to using them again in larger campaigns.

The following five battles were played over three days. Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd and of February
2009. All these battles are 2250 point pitched battles.

Ogres from the chaos wastes face us today, with a sickly amount of mutated creatures that would
scare even the bravest mortal. But not us! I was here with the blessing of my holy and
and with the might of our blessed king . Nothing could stand before us, we were
the blessed dead. We used our Carrion well to march blocking the fast moving ogres (a tactic we
have honed from ages past). Our Screaming Skull Catapult achieved a horrible amount of death on
these foul ogres. But unfortunately even that could not withstand the sheer amount of force and
splintered from the overuse. I allowed most of the gut magic to get though via the two Chaos
induced butchers, which hurt them badly. We just managed to slay the last maneater with the ogre
battle standard bearer so and his tomb guard using the could get in and slay
them all which they did….. just…
I have to report the loss of to the chaos ogre assault.

Capture the Flag: Captured standards are worth another 50 victory points.

A goblin horde again. But we knew how to combat the deadly green horde. We sent our carrion out
and forced all the fanatics out, which with a great deal of luck the six of them survived. A unit of
squig hoppers kept on hopping into the left side building; we aimed our bowfire into them and
picked them off one by one as they hopped around in front of the windows. They ended up hopping
out to be finally shot down outside the building side door. The goblins unleashed their ogre allies
which finally came around the far right side forest in a cunning flank move. and his tomb
guard took these foul allies on, charged and routed them only to charge the nearby snotling pump
wagon, then destroyed and continued on their way to end the lives of the ogress, which they did.
The second snotling pump wagon did not get away either our blessed bowfire from the hilltop
picked of the snotlings until only a few of them jumped off then wagon and ran for it..
The goblin lines remained and we could not break them, but we destroyed all the forces they sent
forth thus winning the day through defense.

Assassination: General worth 200 if killed instead of 100.

Yet another tomb king war. We pushed forward against a and his undead host, of
which king we do not know. We were lucky that I knew our foe lacked the magic defense to stop
our volume of incantations. Me and pushed our elite charioteers around the far right forest
into our opponents own chariots. With the banner of the undying legion we charged and killed the
chariots crumbling them into dust, then charged into the with his bowmen.
The moved out of his own large warrior unit to try to save itself from the
digging Tomb Scorpions charge. But our bow fire from the hilltops shot the
down, his failing to save him from the dust. Then the crumbling started, but my
foe was not finished, with typical tomb king spirit they attacked on mass. killed the
General but the other came at him and his unit from behind. I tried to stop the
“my will be done” but I failed my king. flew over to aid his beloved king. But in the end
our whole tomb guard unit was lost. We won but at a loss…

16-4 tournament result (Solid Victory Win)

Lucky to kill Jacks Hierophant. Felt sorry for him…

Battlefield Supremacy: terrain piece placed in center of table. No victory points are taken instead the player who holds the
most table quarters wins. The terrain piece in center of the battle counts as a table quarter if a unit is touching it.

A bloodthirsty dark elf force with four repeating bolt throwers! We thought ourselves lucky that
that was it.. No Hydra, No Dragon and No Black Guard, although they did have two real nasty
coldone units one with a dreadlord and the other with the battle standard bearer. The shots started
flying with interesting effects. The dark elf repeaters seemed to be off shot, only a few shots hit
turn after turn. There was time in the first few turns we out shot them. We picked off the shades
that deployed in the far right forest and advanced in cover to shoot us to pieces. And with disbelief
we killed a few cold one knights with bowfire too. Our Carrion failed in their charge into the
repeating crossbowman battle line. destroyed the other dark elf crossbowman unit
after four rounds of close combat killing the sorceress with them. and his holy tomb guard
finally got combat with the Dreadlord but the game ended before he could end his unholy life.
More the pity.
We held the middle and two table quarters leaving the dark elves only one table quarter the other was
contested. The day was ours.

Our Holy Army

A horde of Skaven. Everything went well in this battle I am very proud to say. Both Tomb
Scorpions popped up just right our carrion harassed the skaven foe. And our Screaming Skull
Catapult did not blowup. We took down the warp-lighting cannon nice a early only allowing a first
turn shot. We routed slave unit after slave unit. Force the Skaven Warlord to flee from
and charging together with our holy guard. But then was counter flank charged by the
skaven battle standard bearer and his clan-rats. We crumbled but held. And our chariots flanked
them and ran them down. The battle standard bearer died of course from the dreaded destroyer. At
the end a lot of skaven were dead. Good I say.

Oooo tempting

We forgot our Tomb Scorpions for . So we used

two brave Ogre Bulls (thanks to ) instead called: and . stuffed up but
did well, which proves something?. What I do not know?.

We made a big boo boo. After playing in (and getting 3rd place in) then writing in battle reports
of…We discovered we were a total of 77 points down in all of our battles during
. Which means that we did do a great job even though we did not know it at the time?.

The book one in the Nagash trilogy has made its way to our
priesthood. The tome is making its way through all the lower kings in our blessed land. After
countless nights of intense study I have found new interesting events on our ancient history. As well
as the knowledge on the evils of the unspeakable one.

Because wars are low and the next campaign is coming to a close very quickly, we the great
priesthood of have declared (with the blessing of our holy king) the skip of
at the end of the next campaign. This great battle will be a BIG one.. And so it should
be too.

opened our mind to grand and exotic weapons from ancient times.
One was the of . We quickly drew up plans and built our own. Our
sails high in the sky with a unit of holy bowmen of as its crew. This allows us priests to gain
protection in its high altitude. We shall field it in every battle we can.. And comment on it
surviving or being destroyed… forbid.

I witnessed our new Sky boat soaring in the sky. With its high altitude we spied an army of Dark
Elves. Remembering the good victories we have had against these foul ones to date ordered
us to war. We must of caught the Dark Elves unawares they formed up surprisingly strange. Their
Black guard and their spearman deployed on our far right flank. Their dreaded Hydra went through
a dense forest eager no doubt to burn us with its breath. willed our screaming skull to shot
at the Black Guard as the Hydra hid from view. But the shot scattered onto the Dark elf Cauldron of
Blood instead splatting the Dark elf Hag Queen stone-dead. commended the catapults crew,
something I’m sure they took the credit for.
Our blessed king then flew with great speed and landed with a puff of sand behind the Dark elf battle
line slowing down the right flank sweep of the Black guard and the spearman. The Dark elf
spearman marched to far past right side building and exposed its flank to our charioteers. Seeing their
Dread lord on the other side of the spearman’s flank our great king gave the order to charge. Our
charioteers broke the spearman but failed to run them down. Instead the charioteers overrun into the
flank of the Black guard. and his Tomb guard was joined by our holy King and slammed
into the Black guard after our chariots hit them with their impact hits. We slayed them to the last..
The Dark elf spearman unit failed to rally twice.. saw this as an opportunity to run them
down with his holy hand. He flew high over the dense forest and landed far from the rest of our
army, He tried with all his holy might to will himself into the fleeing Dread lord and his followers.
But the Sorceress of the Dark elves had put a stop to that.. I could do nothing to help… The
Sorceress then calmly walked out of the forest she was in and casted chillwind on our beloved King.
The spell was irresistible and smashed our king to the ground. I held my breath watching from our
sky boat. survived.. Only just…

a greater vigor and finally slayed the stegidon and routed the saurus unit. The other stegidon rallied

I had rule problems in this game. Zombie Dragon does not gain the Full Infernal hatred of the
Vampire Lord riding it, it only gets Hatred. Also my was judged by the OT
that I lost my charge bonuses if I used its special attack in a challenge against the same Vampire Lord
on his Zombie Dragon. These two rules (which were doubtful ether was fair) lead to me losing so
badly. Thus the game will be judged a non-event for my overall tourney scoring.

I walked into the middle forest at the start of this conflict. I felt the presence of the foul deamons of

to begin with. I did not know these deamons could advance so fast. Before I knew anything I heard
the roar of bloodletters smashing into the light cavalry that passed me in the forest. The red tide of
bloodlust ran into our back ranks pulling our beloved air boat to the ground. I hulked to the trees..
I tried to continue to help my fellow noble warriors. But even with my great incantations I did very
little. I knew we destroyed the little deamon host to our left but the major host was coming back
from the right.. And one of them was the dreaded bloodthrister if Khorne. I moved out of the forest
at the bitter end, I saw the last of our Tomb Guard fall.. And I witnessed the great himself
stand up against it. But even our great king could not stop this mindless slaughter. I remained to

Forever known as the Sky boat campaign

We awoke from our tombs early in the midday sun; we stumbled and formed our ranks. We were
not expecting an attack on our border for sometime after our last campaign. A vampire army has
come into our realm our scouts found out it’s a Lamia host. The battle started bad our Screaming
skull strained under the first second fire and snapped like a twig. Our tactic of raining down some
flaming death on the dead failed. Now we tried plan two: all out attack. We did well out flanking
the foul ones but my Jar was stopped by the Lamia lords staff of skulls extra power. We crumbled
one ghoul unit but when Ra-num and his guard had trouble slaying the Wight king with the battle
standard and his grave guard our offensive stopped and we where all out flanked ourselves. I was
attacked by an enraged vampire and it ripped off one of my old battle honors. Now I do not have it
anymore. What a dishonor..
(ETC standard 2009 rule game)

With great sadness in the heat of this last great battle I was destroyed by a foul and sneaky vampire.
I then fell over in the pile of the “really dead” and broke my BATTLE 135 BATTLE HONOR
off. It was miss placed my learnered fellow priests said.. I now spot a black husk where it was. And it
hurts..

The gods call and we answer. is contemplating he’s master plan; the army of the forces
us into a battle to defend our right to wage war in the Leviathan campaign. We leant our lessons
form our last battle and formed a better army without weakening us against other foes. This battle
was long and hard, ending up in a large mass battle in the middle of the battlefield. The just
evaded our grasp. But we did the most damage to his host and we earned the right to continue our
holy war.

We formed up our holy army in mass on left side my holy ally deployed on the right. had
control over our holy ally force mounted in a golden chariot, but in that he commanded in a style
that made me wonder if he was also under some sort of control, I was puzzled. claimed the
ruins to sit our beloved Casket of Souls, eager to suck some foul dark elf souls to add to its already
massed tormented spirits. Our two screaming skull catapults deployed one on a hill the other sitting
right next to the ruins. Our Ally place one of his on his far hill and the other right next to our
casket. Our balloon flew high in the air. Our Charioteers on flank right ready to out flank our
foes, deployed with them in his chariot of fire. Our light cavalry used the middle wood its
protection. Our beloved king put his holy personage in the blessed holy tomb guard or .

We did well starting off. Screaming skulls flew through the air hitting there mark with nasty
effects. One Screaming skull smashed a cold-one chariot to bits on a partial hit, a shot that was
targeted that way of course. Our ally shot missile fire blessed by the asp goddess into a dark elf
crossbowman unit on a hill. We both took aim onto one of the two foul black guard writhing them
down before their dark god could protect them. We the servants’ of blessed willed our carrion
into the closest repeating bolt thrower and destroyed it. The harpies saw this and counter attacked
locking our birds of death in a nasty combat, but our birds won out and flew away to harass our
foes.

The Dark Elves, not having this outrage came upon us now with vigor. Foul dark magic crackled the
sky. We the holy priests of many gods stopped all these hated vile ones could put to bear. A miscast
hurt one sorceress to much our delight, petty the mortal fools. Bolt throwers rain flying death upon
poor and our holy Casket of Souls, both of his loyal guards where shot down in the first
volley. Leaving hiding behind the golden casket for the protection it gave. I feared the poor
ancient priest was utterly destroyed but when I landed near, I still saw the old priest jabbering his
staff in the air in disgust. I thanked , for the loss of our blessed Casket now would of crippled us.
Our battle plan went astray, both and failed to dig up from their
tunneling movement but both of my allies tomb scorpions did. Then one of our allies screaming
skull catapult cracked under the great strain of constant use. I was not amazed thinking to myself, of
their poor construction. When our screaming skull catapult near the casket started to load and fire in
action it too cracked and broke leaving a husk of remains. I was standing near for protection and
shook my head in disbelief. Of course it was the Dark elves doing. We let our last screaming skull
catapult loose, with delight it landed right on target. A splattering skull plucked out a hiding battle
standard bearer, breaking the standard as well with its vengeful fire.
And the elves kept on advancing….

screamed an all-mighty order and charged a cold one knight unit with his charioteers and
the Icon of the Sacred Eye, slaughtering them in a barbaric display of ancient warfare. I never agreed
with such uncivil behavior but I welcomed it none the less. Then with not even blink or even a
thought otherwise continued on right into the High Sorceresses unit of deep ranked dark
elf spearman. The bloodbath was clear at any distance. The High Sorceresses fell, then the unit fled
and was cut down under the blood stained wheels of victorious chariots. I felt the air get
warmer was the dark magical power leaving the battlefield.

then took the battle to the advancing dark elves. Seeing their battle standard gone and no
major character defending the middle dark elf spearman unit he charged his tomb guard into the them
eager for holy victory. charged as well, hearing the order from his holy king.
This prevented the spearman form fleeing at first sight of our blessed force upon them, I know my
cunning king greater plan. In the dust a saw a dark elf assassin, ripping off his disguise, he sprang
out and slayed our champion but armed with his holy destroyer cut many down
with his holy guards help. It was too much for the spearman and they routed.

More repeating bolt thrower fire targeted poor and more curses left his ancient lips. One
shot wounded him but he was still alive at the end of the volleys. We healed him and his guards back
up before more volleys found there mark. was nearly flanked by some shades hiding in a
forest but the mortal elves feared his holy might and stood gleaming from the trees. This allowed
to finally charge and he galloped his burning chariot into a unit of crossbowman. Two
Dark elf sorcessesses where hiding in the unit for cover. heavy hand cleaved into them, just
pushing them back. With shear dread they broke and caught them in the panic. He made
sure the two sorercesses met an untimely end.

and his tomb guard used their Icon of Rakaph, turned around and charged the next
spearman unit. This one had a dark elf Highborn in it. Our holy charioteers also charged putting the
spearman in a pincer movement. The bloodbath was short but sweet, the Highborn cut down tomb
guard after tomb guard and our holy king did the same back to the vile dark elf spearman. The
impact hits cut down just as many and the hooves plus spear impaled even more. The death was
brought and the elves ran. I saw grab the banner in delight.
But was not finished. A dark elf chariot raced passed and charged into our holy charioteers
giving them a nasty crash with their deadly scythes. The holy charioteers where finished until
charged in with his ever loyal guard and personally smashed the cold one chariot to bits. Then
seeing our bowman in trouble our great king turned his guard around and moved and willed them
into battle most holy with the cold one knight’s who had our bowmen in our balloon fighting to
survive.

after continuing on to destroy a repeating bolt thrower turned back and charged with his
will alone, into a cold one knight unit. His charge was successful but he became bogged down in a
heated battle where he could not swing his heavy morning star. He was undone by the two remaining
cold one knights.

I got holy vengeance against a unit of dark riders. The foul ones out flanked our chariots then ran
down our most pleasing light horseman then.. After that they charged and destroyed our last
remaining screaming skull catapult, now our ally only had one left. Thus I had to end their unholy
lives at my own personal risk. I knew our incantations where unstoppable and quickly waved down
the small unit with my will of vengeance alone. I did feel better..

our ally meanwhile was doing very well. One good shot from his last screaming skull
catapult killed a hydra stone dead and the other hydra dispatched as well with his heavy
chariot charge. We had some assaults on the blood cauldron that still remained,
tried to take it down but was poisoned to bits with the hag and the two frenzied attendants.
sent one of his tomb scorpions in too but the effect was still the same.

In the end we controlled the battlefield and the great partnership of and was
brought, and even though we had losses we gave the mortal dark elves a bloody massacre.

skinks contained the skink low priest and we could not let him of all creatures enter such a holy
place. Our birds of death picked the low being out and ate him, or as best they could?. The skinks
held and the jungle swarms fell in all around. This was the end of our beloved birds but it did slow
down the two twin Stegidons and stopped them from advancing. Some Cold one saurus charged
headlong into some of our light cavalry and smashed the bones from their backs before coming to a
stop in front of a collection of rocks exposed in the heat of the sun. turned and
counter charged, because our charioteers could not flank them. He did well but ended up in a battle
with some advancing saurus warriors and a last remaining jungle swarm. He fell to dust I am afraid
to report. I am however proud to say our beloved king and his tomb guard saved the day yet again,
taking on a Stegidon in their front and one on their flank. Blessed be our king’s holy hand…

We lost vast numbers and our foe held much ground in the end not much was gained. And that
wraithlike Slann remained floating…

11-9 tournament result (Draw)

We ventured out into the greener lands and where set upon by a host of wood elves and forest spirits
an Ancient Treeman was in command and a wood elf with a battle standard on a war eagle was also
protecting the spirits of the wood.

We countered their magic well making sure that Treeman move his wood only a little with his hulk
locked tight inside. We wanted him out but of course he did not like that idea. We maneuvered
ourselves to good battle advantages just like the times of old. A unit of way watchers sneaked up and
entered the building in our battlefield’s centre. Their shots rained out to little effect and we shot
back; our arrows sought out our foes through the windows and passages of the derelict building. Of
course the way watchers exited the building. Seeing the potential of the building I ordered our
archers with the banner of the undying legion to enter. and I joined our holy king’s side
with his tomb guard. Our archers from their higher level fired massive death upon the two war
dancer units left in the open behind normally impossible to see dryads. The wood elves wisely
counter charged our archers with a long bowman unit but our bowman where to numerous and made
them exit the building. and I left our holy king knowing only to well he meant to bring
holy death to these forest elves. We joined the screaming skull catapult for cover and hopefully not a
early demise. Our king and his guard surged forward and engaged a unit of wardancers. They were
no match and routed them then Ancient Treeman came out to threaten our holy king’s flank.
Unknown to the Treeman our king just reformed his unit with his holy hen
charged and routed the wood elf long bowman units.

I witnessed paying more attention to our screaming skull ammunition on our catapult than
the battle in progress. I was annoyed at my aid because of his incompetence, our
on our charioteers failed to be used twice against a heated battle with Dryads.

But when our screaming skulls were let loose I finally understood intent. The shot rained
through the air and landed smack bang on the Ancient Treeman. The creature was utterly destroyed
with our holy flame.

I have decided not to take actions any further. Although I did want to know… How did
he do it??..

forgot my Banner of the cursing word twice… Damn its hard to remember?.
We all felt at this time in the campaign that we could do nothing wrong. But we were soon proved
terribly wrong indeed. An army of dread was coming, and no sooner had we defeated our last army
this new one was marching with intended gore upon us.

A Mortals of Chaos army with all new weapons of war out maneuvered where we were stuck with a
forest interrupting our battle line, and the foe had nice open land to form up and run us down. We
started with me personally using my incantations on our screaming skull catapult to rain holy fire
upon our foes. But instead of even firing the thing gave way with a “CRACK”. Oh the folly! I
witnessed shrug his shoulders. I knew he had something to do with this ?.

With more folly our carrion moved into an unwise position and where just seen by the flanking
chaos knights. Before I could question over the catapults demise, our holy king and his
guard were charged by both a flanking chaos knight unit of Nurgle and a front assaulting unit of
chaos knights of Nurgle. If I could smell I would be sick..

The Nurgle chaos lord fell to our blessed kings and we thought we had
survived that assault. We were wrong. The coming carnage saw our holy king of kings just fall to a
force of numbers and the outflanking of his unit. Even with our archers it was not enough. Our
blessed king’s curse fell on no-one and I pulled into that cursed forest.

The rest of our army was hunted down and destroyed. It was like the gods were asleep. just
muttered…

With great delight.
We fielded different Screaming skull catapults and Tomb scorpions on each day

Very quickly again another foe arose. An army of Beasts of Chaos engaged us in bloody slaughter. I
made doubly sure the gods were listening. Our screaming skull catapult was unworthy now. In a
very poor shot I blame on the doings of my aid the fire of vengeful skulls went horribly astray.
When our holy king with his guard engaged a foul Chaos giant the shot fell on not only our blessed
tomb guard of but also on our holy king . No word of the shot came, no cry of
protection was given. Our king took the brunt of the flaming death… But was not going to let
that defeat us. stood from the blast and took the giant on in personal combat. The brute
took some nasty wounds from our king’s powerful hand. The giant tried to pick our king up and
throw him back into his loyal guard. But not even that succeeded. The giant was killed finally. But
another fight was engaged and was too far from the battle to fight. Tomb guard fell from
a pincer attack from Beastmen from the frond and flank. A Beastmen chariot also charged in.
destroyed it with a single blow but it was not enough. All crumbled to dust yet again when the
Minator lord finally got into battle.
I feel myself compelled not to comment on our defeat any further. I will comment on an immediate
inquiry in to my aid, the learned actions on our screaming skull ammunition. Also into
his lack of remembering to invoke our Banner of the cursing word… Which he forgot again…

4-16 tournament result (Major Victory Loss)

Mortals of Chaos this time with a Sorcerer on a Chaos Dragon, do these foes never stop…
We again (of course) were out maneuvered and found ourselves on the defensive. We tried to out
flank and our charioteers did well at this. But the foul mortals prayed to their unholy War Alter and
were given the best blessing one of their foul kind could wish for…
Their chaos knights were boosted with stubborn resolve and magical saves. We knew these knights
were our major trouble now. threw itself against a unit of chaos hounds
and cut them up and overrun just before a unit of chaos warriors with a Chaos Sorcerer inside. They
in turn charged and just before it crumbled from the shear weight of numbers
picked up the Chaos Sorcerer and cut him in two. We took this as an omen
that had smiled on us again.
The Chaos Sorcerer with his Chaos Dragon flew straight into our screaming skull catapult just
missing and his holy tomb guard’s flank. The mighty Chaos Sorcerer and his mount ripped
our poor defenceless catapult to bits then flew onward into our archer’s flank. I was sound enough to
move with my soaking aid and stand just to the left of the archers. then released the power
of the and reformed and charged the rear of the Chaos Sorcerer and his Dragon. The
Chaos Sorcerer was slain right away with a killing blow so deadly even I was impressed with our
kings great might. The Dragon fought on and routed only to be charged again and finally slain.
The blessed chaos knights then charged in against our archers but their own chaos spawn got in the
way and they just managed to clip our archers. and his guard again turned and charge their
flank. Our carrion stopped one of their spawn from joining the battle by charging it. But the other
one join in. In the end the day fell and only two knights remained. Their chaos blessing too much to
finally slay them all or even rout them all..

Forever known as the “Whoops where’s my Banner of the Cursing Word” campaign

I was given the information from and gave the fair chance to explain his own
actions in the “Whoops where’s my Banner of the Cursing Word” campaign”. did indeed admit
to tempering with our catapult and also not paying closer attention to the battle at hand. The
incantation of guiding he put on the catapults screaming skulls was amateur at best. With my
intense study of the events that unfolded and all the evidence I amounted. I have in sound mind
decided that both and both failed in their duty. Thus will be put on
wanderings duty. And will find the study in Grand Pyramid a useful distraction from
the accusing of fellow priests. I will not broke and any squalling in the priesthood.

We were ordered to form up our “Whoops where’s my Banner of the Cursing Word” campaign army
again. Too face (of all things) an ORC horde. I saw that got out of his wanderings duty to take
part.. And lead our force again as hierophant, I had foreboding.

Our priests (due to their timely last campaigns punishment, they say?) forgot to field our carrion
figures. Dice where used as proxies Thus their quick destruction was deemed by the Gods, being
eaten by Swig hoppers “Oh, what a way too go”.

I will note that it started well at least. We deployed well and the Black-Orc Warboss was staying
away on his Wyvern. At this point my foreboding was slowly leaving.

Then I was hit by a flying Doom Diver Goblin “nattering away, quite annoying”, I was returned
to a lost battle. Our great King and we his holy hand and guards of honor were attacked by a nasty
flank of carrion eatey of . My foreboding returned twice over..

Many of my fellow Tomb Guard fell due to our disbelief we could not parry with our shields in
our flank. The was useless and then we were doublely doomed when the rest of the
green horde came smashing into our formation. I saw our holy King himself slay the Orc battle
standard, but I also saw the inside of one of those !!.

I don’t remember much else

Our “ Whoops where’s my Banner of the Cursing Word” campaign” army list will never be used again. And
and are under my close watch. Our next army will go back to old army designs will
good success. Just need to find them now
We fought another orcish horde today, this time under the protection of and not
And which I gather are still watched with carful eyes within the Lichehood. I know
our force today was back to the army of old. And we all felt better for it.

We the Tomb Guard of blessed menoveroured most of the battle. We formed up between the
savage orc warboss on his wyvern and our two priests with some archers on our air boat. The
warboss charged us given his choice of targets where limited and he was battle frenzy for blood. Our
champion was cut down quickly. But our beloved King in our skeleton warriors unit will
himself and his warriors into the warbosses flank. With too great blows he ended the warbosses life
and his already wounded wyvern.

The day was ours and with luck our losses where little.

Again we sought holy war against the orcish horde, again under the protection of and .
This time these green skins saw our counter attack and defended themselves. We the Tomb Guard of
tried our best but we were out flanked.

Our great king fell short of a crafty forward march. fell to the Warboss after he failed to
overrun off the battlefield. The orc Warboss and his massive wyvern turned our noble prince and
his chariot of fire to dust. But curse worked and the warboss and his wyvern were both
serious wounded by its mighty word. How dare the foul green skin stand against a warrior of .

base is becoming trouble. We would very much like to use him again in coming
campaigns and battles. has been separated from our holy tomb guard of to become our
first “Bone Giant Drummer”. This post is a great honour and allows us to put him on a sized base
that all giants need to be on now?
Also who knows he’s drumming might just make our Bone Giants charge the right target at the right
time? Well it can’t hurt?

I take my new post, at the feet of the huge Nergal. When the battle was called I started my drums
and marched as best I could toward the green horde before us. I saw our carrion fly themselves into
some goblin spider riders. Then some gobblin mass of night goblins came upon me and Nergal. But
did I threat, did I worry? No. I draw my blade. The mass of night goblins ran at the sight of Nergal
and never returned. Alas one bolt from a goblin bolt thrower hit Nergal below the ribcage; I felt the
tremmer of the impact.

I replayed the drums and pushed Nergal forward. But at this time a unit of swig herders went
uncontrollable and bursted forward overcome by their animostity. This in turn made our chariots
fall to their massive charge. Ra-num and his holy tomb guard counter charged and caused a great
explosion of swigs. These creatures bounced on Nergal, topperling our beloved bone giant.

I fought my way through the mad jumping swigs. When I looked back the battle was all but lost.
Damn these swigs.

Stomped nothing!, got the wrong end of a bolt from a bolt thrower
then got swigged to death by those bouncing swig herders?

ORC BIG BOSS a talking too”

We have put together a new ‘longer’ base for . Thus his striding lig had to
be moved forward. But I’m am glad to report he is still battle ready and eager to stomp our enemies.
Good game all up. with new base did well

Damn these swigs.

Ahhhhh Goblin Bigboss”!

The MOAB campaign was abandoned. We the ever working savants of hope it was not us that
caused our blessed god displeasure at the coming campaign.

With the new Skaven Army book that has been released the horde of Rats have come from
underground with extra force of will. Two games where played testing out our battle tactics against
this new but still hated foe.

Oh Dear!
I just have one thing to say in my defense. DAMN!
May Ra see that this defeat was not my fault?

BATTLE RESULT : Massacre Loss to Ra-num(2250 point game)

BATTLE HONORS : None
STOMPER METER : Quin-Tyos Stomped and bumped a Giant for 2 little wounds then was
headbutted then clubbed to bits.
BATTLE NOTES : Oh dear!

The great tombs of Ra stir once more. The grand army moves again, Ra-num awakes and sees the
world changed. The foul Ratman have increased, the Beastman have musted. But a whisper of a new
change is coming to Nehekhara.

This stirs one sense of urgency.

First order. Ra-num has commandeered the gathering of his ancient sarcophagus. His tomb guard
have the honour of hauling it into battle. If it falls it will be a great dishonour. Our kings faith in
his guard is a great blessing. Praise be Ra.
