Louisville este o municipalitate, sediul comitatului

Jefferson și cel mai mare oraș din statul Kentucky, Louisville

fondată în 1778 de catre George Roger Clark, iar Metro Government

orașul a fost numit după Regele Louis al XVI-lea al
Franței.
