Title : Fund Monitoring System

Introduction
It has been observed that many Govt. Organizations are unable to fully utilize the
fund allocated to them. So at the end of the fiscal year there is a lapse of
budgeted amount. The improper use of fund leads to many serious problems that
ultimately hamper the Govt. planning goal that it has been set forth.
The allocated budget should be utilized with in the time frame for over all
development of country, Since the basic goal of govt is public welfare. The lapse
of budget mainly arises due to improper coordination of different govt
agency/authority, lack of finger tip information about the current status of the
allocated fund etc. It has also been found the need of transparency among the
signing authority to make the entire system workable.
The proposed system is aimed to overcome all the above mentioned problem.
The project development work is associated with C-DAC RANCHI, and aimed to
be developed as a generic solution to cater the need of many of its govt clients.

Objective & Modules of the new system

The main objective of the proposed project is to avail the fund status and
establishing the coordination among the authorities. To achieve the above task
the development work can be categorized in three segments :
1. Intranet Application : This application will run on local office network.
The application will have following module :

a. Fund Allocation & Distribution Module.

b. Expanse Module
c. Target and Achievement Module
d. Reports Module

2. Internet(WEB) based Application : This application will enhance the

over all process to facilitate the following objective :
a. On-line Expanse entry
b. On- line reporting for fund status.

3. Warehouse Application : This application will analyze history database

to identify the actual need of fund for the department. It will help to take
decision during fund distribution.
