for two sections of Honors American Literature and one section

Renaissance

create their own short stories by taking part in the writing

September 2004 - Tutor


November 2004 Black Child and Family Institute, Lansing, MI
• Spent two hours per week tutoring elementary and middle
school aged children in an urban setting. Duties included
helping students with class work, reading skills, and other
educational activities as part of an after school program

Coaching Experience
January 2011- 7th Grade Boys Basketball (Assistant Coach)
March 2011 Merrill Middle School Club Sports, Merrill, MI
• Helped coach a group of 7th grade boys during their Winter
basketball season. Duties included helping run team practices
and coach in games (including trips to other schools for away
games). Coaching was a voluntary activity that required about 8
hours per week committed.
