Scope and Content

Kenneth Strand (1927-1997) was a long-time professor of Church History at the

Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. His specialty was
in the area of the Reformation period. He also had interest in the Biblical book of
Revelation. He began teaching at Andrews University in the late 1950s and stayed until
his death. He earned his doctorate at the University of Michigan in the area of
Reformation studies.
This collection reflects that of an active teacher and scholar with
correspondence, notes, writings, and a wide range of classroom materials.

Provenance

This collection via provisions of Dr. Strand’s will when he died unexpectedly in
late 1997.

Use

All users of this collection will be required to complete the “Application to Use
Unpublished Record” and to observe the regulation specified in the “Patron’s
Agreement” and “Researcher’s Code of Conduct.” All records in this collection are open
