PREPARATION
● Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents
list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the
product. Contact customer service for replacement part.
● Estimated Assembly Time: 30 - 45 minutes
● Tool Required for Assembly (not included): Flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, Pliers, Electrical tape,
Wire cutter, Safety glasses and (2) 75W A19 medium base bulbs .
● Helpful Tools (not included): Wire strippers.

STEP 1:
a. Locate the Crossbar and attach it to the Outlet Box Outlet Box
using the Outlet Box screws (not supplied).
b. Locate the Nipple and thread the Small Hex Nut onto it
about half way. Slip a Lock Washer onto it and thread Crossbar
one end of the Nipple into the center hole of the Outlet Box

c. Position the Ceiling Canopy over the Outlet Box, Small Hex Nut Lock Washer
passing the mounting hole in the center of the Ceiling
Canopy over the end of the Nipple. Nipple Ceiling Canopy
d. Adjust the Nipple so approx. 3/8” inch of the Nipple is
protruding from the mounting hole. This adjustment
may take a few tries.
e. When this length is achieved, remove the Ceiling
Canopy and tighten the Small Hex Nut up against the
underside of the Crossbar with pliers.
STEP 2:
a. Locate the Ceiling Canopy onto the Crossbar and slip
the Button Stop on the end of Lanyard into the Slot on
the Crossbar as shown.

STEP 3:
Use Wire Connectors to connect the wires.
WHITE OR RIBBED WHITE OR RIBBED
a. Connect the House Ground Wire to the Fixture Ground
Wire. FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
b. Connect the House White (or Ribbed) Wire to the
Fixture Supply Wire (Black or Smooth Side).
c. Connect the House Black (or Red) Wire to the Fixture BLACK (OR RED) WIRE BLACK OR SMOOTH
Supply Wire (Black or Smooth Side).

d. Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape
and carefully stuff all of the connected wires into the
Outlet Box. GROUND WIRE GROUND WIRE

STEP 4:
a. P lace the Ceiling Canopy, the Flat Washer and the
Lock Washer over the end of the Nipple. Secure by
threading the Hex Coupling onto the Nipple. Hand- Nipple Ceiling Canopy
tighten until snug with pliers.

STEP 5:
a. Thread the Nipple with Hex Nut into the Hex Coupling
underside of the Ceiling Canopy. Using pliers, thread
the Hex Nut against the Hex Coupling and hand-tighten
until snug.

STEP 6 :
a. Install correct Bulbs referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage.
STEP 7: Ceiling
a. Pass the Shade, the Rubber Washer and the Flat Canopy
Washer over the end of the Nipple underside of the
Ceiling Canopy in turn. Secure by threading the Big
Hex Nut onto the Nipple. Tighten until snug gently.
b. Place the Cage over the end of the Nipple and secure Nipple
with the Finial. Hand-tighten until snug.

Your installation is completed now. Restore electricity. Retain this sheet for future reference.
