Cotton remains the most miraculous fiber under the sun, even after 8,000 years. No other fiber comes close to duplicating all of the desirable characteristics combined in cotton.
The fiber of a thousand faces and almost as many uses, cotton is noted for its versatility, appearance, performance and above all, its natural comfort. From all types of apparel,
including astronauts' in-flight space suits, to sheets and towels, and tarpaulins and tents, cotton in today's fast-moving world is still nature's wonder fiber. It provides thousands of
useful products and supports millions of jobs as it moves from field to fabric.
The third largest producer of cotton in the world after China and USA (243 lakh bales in 2004-05).
India is the only country cultivating cotton of all staple classes and belonging to all four cultivable species.
Cotton provides livelihood to 60 million people engaged in farming, industry and trade related to cotton and cotton products.
Textile exports account for 30% of India's total exports. Cotton textiles alone make up 20% of the exports.
Short unspinnable desi cottons to extra-long (40mm) Suvin, spinnable to 120s count are grown in the country.
Positive characteristics include low neps, good dye absorption, relatively better priced, good lustre.

3 tier selection methods: We have a strong control and are constantly involved in the entire process of product selection comprising of heaping, ginning and sampling.
Supply from TMC (Technology Mission on Cotton) factories: involving the auto-handling of the entire process, leading to a better finished product.
