ARGUMENT

Prezentul curs optional ,,Abilități de comunicare și înțelegere a textelor audiate

(“Listening and Speaking Skills”) se adresează elevilor de clasa a X-a şi îşi propune
optimizarea abilităților de comunicare, cât și a celor de înțelegere a textelor audiate în vederea
conversării fluente în limba engleză. Parcurgând acest optional, elevii vor avea posibilitatea să-şi
remedieze problemele privitoare la înțelegerea textelor audiate şi să se exprime corect, dar şi să-
şi fixeze cunoştinţele deja dobândite cu ajutorul exerciţiilor ce vor însoţi acest curs.
Cursul propune secţiuni referitoare la diversele aspecte ale existenței omenești: ”First
Impressions”, ”Journeys”, ”Dream Homes”, ”Life Changes”, ”Breaking News”, ”Things People
Do for Fun”, ”What People Like to Eat”, ”Weather Forecast”, ”Moods and Feelings”, ”Telling
Stories”, ”Summer Holiday”.
În plus, cursul este însoţit de materialul audio ce prezintă limba engleză în context natural.
De asemenea, cursul combină o prezentare clară a noțiunilor teoretice cu o varietate de exerciţii
stimulante pentru asimilarea structurilor necesare în conversație. Noţiunile dobândite sunt
consolidate printr-o gamă diversificată de exerciţii recapitulative, cum ar fi: identificarea și
corectarea greşelilor, alegerea răspunsului corect, completarea spaţiilor libere cu expresiile date,
completarea cu verbe la timpul corespunzător ,reordonarea cuvintelor pentru a obţine propoziţii,
etc. Astfel, cursul asigură o atentă monitorizare a elevilor, oferind oportunităţi de învăţare
eficiente şi variate. Prin urmare, cursul se constituie ca un instrument util pentru îmbunătăţirea
abilităţilor lingvistice ale elevilor.
Considerăm că prin conţinutul său şi prin noua abordare a conceptelor ce consolidează
abilitățile de comunicare în limba engleză acest curs se va dovedi util elevilor atât în susţinerea
unor examene, cât şi în afara şcolii, în viaţa cotidiană.
