2.03 Providing and fixing the Veneer (4.6mm thick) paneling on 50 x 25/ 50.8 x 25.4mm, 16swg
(1.626mm thick and consider the tolerance range of 1.60 ~1.65mm) aluminium tube section
framework. The aluminium sections shall be placed at 2' 0" c/c both ways and rigidly
connected together using 3mm thick aluminium L- cleats fixed/ fastened to aluminium
section with double screws to profile with niches in different levels as per the detail drawings
and Architects' instructions. The framework shall be cladded with 12mm thick plywood and
finished in veneer to shape and size with grooves to pattern, the grooves shall have stainless
steel in-lay to pattern as per the detail drawings. The paneling shall also have 100 x 20mm -
Timber skirting with grooves to pattern as per the detailed architectural drawings. All the
exposed veneer and wooden surfaces shall be stained to shade as directed by Architects and
finished in water based polyeruthane coat with approved texture. Kindly note only elevation

2.18 Providing and Fixing airtight 2 hour fire rating metal fire doors conforming to IS 3614(Part2)
1992, BS 476(Part 20 & 22) and ISO 834 with all necessary haedware fittings like SS Ball
bearings Butt Hinges, SS Handle,etc.The Door frames and shutter are made up of Powder
coated MS sheet of specified thickness and of reputed primary manufacturer . The door
shutter are to be constructed from 1.25 mm thick Powder coated MS sheet fabricated/bend
in a shape to provide 46mm thick fully flush, double skin door shell with lock seam joints at
stile edges. Internal reinforcements are provided at top, bottom, and stile edges for fire
rating. The internal construction of the door is a specially designed honey comb structure
with reinforcements at top, bottom and stile surrounds. The internal construction of the door
shall be of 120 minute fire rating as specified.

The door frame shall be constructed from 1.60mm thick Powder coated MS sheet formed to
double rebate profile of size 143x57mm (+/- 0.3mm) with a Max bending radius of 1.4mm.

5.03 Providing and fixing Calcium silicate suspended false ceiling which includes providing and
fixing GI perimeter channels of size 0.55 mm. Thk. having one flange of 20 mm and another
flange of 30 mm and web of 27 mm along the perimeter of the ceiling, screw fixed to brick
wall/ partition with help of nylon sleeves and screws, at 610 mm centers. The suspended GI
intermediate channels of size 45 mm,0.9mm thk with two flanges of 15 mm each from the

Finally the boards are to be joined and finished so as to have a flush look which includes
finishing the tapered and square edges of the board with joining compound. fibre tape and

approved quality of Plastic emulsion paint. The false ceiling surfaces shall be prepared to
the satisfaction of the Architect, and shall be applied with two coats of primer, two coats of
putty and touch up putty if required to achieve smooth finish. The surface shall be painted
with two coats of Luxol silk emulsion paint of approved make to the satisfaction of Architect.

1) There will not be separate measurements for the vertical drops upto 2'-0" high, double
level ceiling, vaulted ceiling, curved ceiling and indirect lighting made in Calcium Silicate
board.

 TILES:
Modular false ceiling tiles shall be of the following material composition and specification of
recommended make.
1. Size of the boards : 595 x 595 x 12mm
2. Edge Style: Tegular suitable for 9/16" or 15mm grid.
3. NRC: In the range of 0.5 - 0.70
4. CAC: In the range of 35 – 44 dB
5. Relative humidity: In the range of 95 – 99 %
6. Light Reflectance: Greater than - 80 %
7. Colour: White
8. Material Composition: Homogenous mineral fibre comprising slag wood, starch, clay,
Guar gum.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND PROCEDURE OF WORKS:
Supply and installation of suspension grid system with main Tee and cross Tees to provide a
stable suspension system for quick laying of acoustic ceiling tiles of nominal size 595 mm x
595 x 12 mm. The width of flange of all Tees shall be 24 mm as per the manufacturers
specification. The Tees shall be double webbed with bake enamelled fascia cap and all other
exposed surfaces galvanised or suitably treated against corrosion. Free ends of tees shall be
mounted with quick release high tensile spring steel clips to provide a plug-in positive-lock
for easy removal without tools. Suspension points shall not exceed centre-to-centre distance
of 1200 ~ 1250 mm and shall be professionally executed with twin 4-mm GI suspension rod
and adjustable suspension (butterfly) clip of spring steel. The entire grid system shall be
designed to bear a distributed load of minimum 18 kg/sqm. Design of grid layout shall be
produced with co-ordinating suspension points in tandem with other service duct / cable tray
layouts. The grid layout is to be superimposed on the ceiling service ducting / cabling layout
and get approved from the Architects.

NOTE:
The rate quoted for any of the Modular false ceiling system shall include providing necessary
cut-outs for all Light fixtures (all sizes), AC diffuser, AC dampers, AC linear grilles, smoke
detectors, speakers etc., and any other openings to be made in the false ceiling as directed
by the Architects. Please note there will not be additional rates/ measurements for the above Sqm R/O 1,250.00
cutouts to be provided in the ceiling. This also includes providing 12mm thick plywood
backing for all types of cut-outs. The exposed edges of the tiles shall be treated with poly
vinyl acetate sealant and finished in paint.
