Applying the Law of Attraction and
May 13, 2011 Getting Results. Pt. 1
O ne of the many problems that I personally
had with the church was the lack of dem-
onstration that I was seeing in compari-
son to the power that I seen was available to us
as believers. A few years ago I ran across a truth
that at the time was not very popular in the
church; but I preached it anyway! Lol.
Proverbs 23:7 BBE For as the thoughts of
his heart are, so is he:
This is at its truest form what the spiritual teach-
ers of the world refer to as the Law of Attrac-
tion. It amazes me how the world will go into
our bible, find truths that belong to the body of

Christ, change the terminology and literally
scare the hell out of the saints.

The Law of Attraction is simply a biblical based
metaphysical law that says, I attract to myself,
what I give my focus, attention &/or energy;
wanted or unwanted. Remember all this is based
on thinking and thought. Whatever thought you
hold in your mind, positive or negative is given
the power to manifest in to your reality.

This is a truth that is very clear through out the
bible.

over your heart (mind, will & emotions);
that's where life starts (manifestation takes
place).
We are so quick to blame others for our place in
life. However, the truth of the matter is, we are
were we are and have what we have or lack
what we lack in life only because of the
thoughts that we hold to be true.
2 Peter 1:3 KJVR According as his (God)
divine power hath given (past tense) unto us
all things (lacking nothing) that pertain unto
life (your natural well being) and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath
called us to glory and virtue:
This verse is very clear, God has already given
us all things. The only reason that all these
things are not evident in our life is because of
what we hold to be true in our thoughts. If your
daily thoughts are consumed with thoughts that
say, “I’m poor, I’m broke, I’m lonely”, guess
what? Those are the only things that you are
allowing to manifest in your life.
Your thoughts are the invitation that allows
the promises of God access to your life. If
wealth, health, harmony and a sense of sta-
bility are not sent and invitation, via you
prayer, meditation and conversation you will
never see them showing up in your reality.
I know you thought it was the devil that was
stopping your blessings! We even have
preachers that teach that mess, causing us to
never fully take responsibility for our
thoughts! The song writer said it best, “What
God has for me is for Me”. Another Song
writer says, “The world didn’t give it and the
World can’t take it way!”. The bible says it
like this-
James 4:2 KJVR Ye lust, and have not: ye
kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain:
ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because
ye ask not.
It is by faith that we receive from God; not of
works that any man can boast in his own
ability. Thank about it, all the teams play
hard during the playoffs, but only one team is
going home with the ring; the team that has
held to the mental picture of victory to the
point that it drove them to manifest success.
This Law is a principle of God that works
without bias. Even our salvation is based on
us confessing, from the Greek word hom-ol-
og-eh'-o, meaning a continuous confession,
profession, and acknowledgment of our be-
lief that Christ die to give us eternal life.
Start today, read God’s word and give your
focus, energy & attention to the promises that
He has given and watch your life start to
change!
