uses art, music and movement to build self-esteem and reduce

Women’s Domestic Abuse Group: Support and education for

Women’s Sexual Abuse Survivor Support Group: Thursday,

Nurturing Our Inner Resources of Gratitude and Hope:
Monday, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Develop and cultivate positive emotions

Empowering Teen Survivors of Sexual Abuse: Tuesday

Positive Change for Teens: Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Increase positive life choices; learn about goals and bounda-

Parenting Classes

Parenting of Children 2 to 12: Tuesday 6-8 p.m. Seven
sessions (Court approved) With book and certificate, $65 cash/
credit per individual or $98 per couple.
Parenting of Teens 13 to 17: Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Seven
sessions (Court approved). With book and certificate, $65 cash/
credit per individual or $98 per couple.
Bereavement Groups

Loss of an Adult Child: Monday 7 to 9 p.m. For parents grieving
the death of an adult child.
When Grief Is Difficult: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 7 to 9 p.m. For
those feeling “stuck” or who are dealing with difficult or sudden
deaths.
Spouse Loss Group: Wednesday, 1 to 3 p.m.
Loss of a Young Spouse: Thursday, 5:30 to 7 p.m. For those
who have lost a spouse 55 years old or younger.
Loss of a Parent: Thursday 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Grieving Separation and Divorce: Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12
noon. Group support for adults.
Women’s Alcohol and Drug Abuse
Treatment Program
and drug education and relapse prevention, a 12-week process
group, and individual counseling. Classes are Wednesday
6 to 8:45 p.m. or Thursday 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Free childcare

income.
Individual - Couples - Children
and Family Counseling
Mariposa provides professional counseling services for individuals,
couples, children and families. Fees are based upon the client’s
income after payment of a $30 intake fee. Free childcare is avail-
