DESCRIPTION WHIRLFLOC T is made from a blend of red seaweed

extracts specifically formulated to coagulate unstable
proteins and flocculate the charge orientated particles in
brewery worts.

WHIRLFLOC T is formulated from a blend of refined

and semi-refined carrageenan and other food grade
ingredients. It is available in an easily dissolvable tablet
form.

PHYSICAL FORM A pale brown tablet approximately 1.6 cm diameter and

2.5g weight.

ADVANTAGES WHIRLFLOC T can be added directly to the 'copper'

without premixing in water. WHIRLFLOC T improves
separation of wort suspended solids and allows greater
volume of wort recovery by forming a compact, cohesive
trub.

WHIRLFLOC T improves wort beer clarity and stability

by removal of proteins and gums resulting in:
- less coating on paraflows
- reduced requirement for beer stabilisation
treatment
- improved beer filtration performance

DOSE RATE WHIRLFLOC T is recommended for use at 20-60ppm.

The dose rate should be optimised to suit the individual
brewery. A method is available on request.
WHIRLFLOC T is added directly to the 'copper'
(kettle), 10 minutes before the end of the boil. Since the
tablets are readily soluble under these conditions, the
turbulent action of the boiling wort will ensure immediate
and complete dispersion/solubilisation of WHIRLFLOC
T.

PACKAGING Standard packaging of WHIRLFLOC T is in 25kg

cartons. However, the product can be repacked to meet
specific customer requirements.

STORAGE/STABILITY Store in unopened containers in cool, dry conditions,

under above conditions WHIRLFLOC T will remain
effective for at least 18 months from delivery.
