LETTER OF APPOINTMENT
In regards to the above, we are pleased to offer you employment in our Company with effect from
1st April,2009. Your appointment, remuneration and employment terms and conditions shall be as
follows:
2. Job Description
Your job description will either be given to you verbally by your immediate superior or in
written form for your reference.
3. Probationary Period
You shall serve a probationary period of six (6) months in the first instance and the
probationary period may be extended by another three (3) months or more, if required, at the
discretion of the Company. During the probationary period, the notice of termination of
employment to be given by either party shall be seven (7) days notice in writing and without
the need to specify the reasons therefore.

4. Notice of Termination
Upon confirmation in your appointment, i.e. after the probationary period, and thereafter, the
notice period for termination of employment to be given by either party shall be one (1) month
or one (1) month’s salary in lieu of such notice.
5. Annual Leave
Your annual leave entitlement with full pay shall be granted for the number of your year(s) of
service (inclusive of probationary period) as follows:

You shall be entitled to Twelve (12) public holidays that are gazetted by the Company in a
year.
8. Medical Benefits
The company will provide you alone with free outpatient medical consultation and medicine at
the company approved clinics and hospitals except dental or ophthalmic treatment during the
term of your Employment. If company approved clinics and hospitals are not provided, you
are allowed to go to the nearest equivalent clinics and hospitals to seek outpatient medical
treatment. The Company will reimburse such fees incurred at a Malaysian Government hospital
or registered Malaysian Medical Practitioner that the necessary proof or explanation is
furnished to the satisfaction of the Company’s Management. This outpatient medical benefit is
restricted to only Malaysian hospitals or Malaysian Medical Practitioners.

9. Working Hours
The Company’s working hours may be revised as and when needed. However, you are
required to work over and above the scheduled working hours as specified by the Management
(when necessary).
10. Restraint
You shall devote your whole time, attention, energies, and skill solely to the business of the
Company and shall not be concerned or interested directly or indirectly in any business or work
other than of the Company. Without the written approval or permission of the Company, you
are not allowed during your period of employment to undertake the following:
10.2 Engage or concern yourself or be interested in any other business, whether or not the
business belongs to you or to any member of your family or any other person or
corporation;
10.3 Having proprietary or pecuniary interest in the business of any other company, firm or
individual, business of which is in whole or in part similar to any trade or business
carried on by the Company;
10.4 Investing in any manner, other than stocks and shares quoted on Stock Exchanges and
fixed deposits and savings;
10.5 Trading with any company or firm in which you or your family or any other members
of the staff is interested directly or indirectly; and
10.6 Having any outside interest which is in direct conflict with the business of the
Company.
11. Overtime
You shall contribute to the Malaysian EPF as per statutory rates and the Company shall make
similar contribution.

13. SOCSO
The Company will provide SOCSO coverage for you in accordance to the Employee Social
Security Act 1969.
If you are liable to pay income tax to the Government’s Inland Revenue Department (IRD), a
deduction for your income tax based on the Scheduler Tax Deduction scheme issued by the
Government’s IRD shall be made on your monthly salary and remitted to the Government’s
IRD by the Company. If this employment had been terminated by either party, the Company
reserves the right to retain your salary until you had completed your IRD clearance.

16. Punctuality
You should maintain the good habit of being punctual for work as well as for all the official
appointment.
The official retirement age for all employees of the Company is 55 (fifty-five) years old.
All information obtained in the course of work with this Company shall be deemed to be
strictly confidential. No such information shall be divulged to any outside party.
Your Employment shall subject to all Human Resource (HR) policies, Company rules and
regulations, and other procedures of the Company as may be made known to you from time to
time.
You are expected to cooperate with your colleagues in ensuring the smooth and efficient
functioning of the Company.

You shall comply with other terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the
relevant section(s) of the Company’s Manual on Human Resource Regulations and Policies.
These terms and conditions are subject to change as and when deemed necessary by the
management, and any change to the terms and conditions shall be applicable forthwith to all
employees concerned.
If you are found to have breached any of the terms and conditions of employment herein, the
Company reserves the right to terminate your employment forthwith without notice or take
other action as the Company deems fit.
You shall also comply with any instruction relating to inter-company transfer or relocation
within the group of companies as may be issued by the Company.
This letter of appointment is given to you in duplicate set. Should you accept this appointment, kindly
sign below and return the duplicate of this letter to us soonest.
