Jim,

Updated spreadsheet to include today's confirmed receipts. Based on larger task force spreadsheets,
I believe that the Australian $ 7.6 M was donated directly to the American Red Cross (State won't
see this donation in our records, and the Indonesian $ 25 K was a private donation ( I can see this in
Dept. records based on collection at post). Both of these items should be removed from the cash
spreadsheet.

All;

We've been asked by the ExecSec to close the books on Katrina today.. Attached are two excel files tracking outgoing
responses to offers of assistance for Hurricane. Katrina. Some of you may have already drafted responses and sent them
forward, but for whatever reason, the Task Force/SES combo hasn't transmitted them. While we could wrestle with the.
system up there, I think we're better off just resubmitting. rve included guidance on drafting for thosewho haven't done so
yet and as long as your drafts meet the guidance below, should be no problem. Please take a look and make sure we get
a response compliant with the requirements laid out last week (below) out as soon as possible. We'd:'ike to submit them
as a package, so you can send them to me first and I'll collect them before sending them forward. Thanks.
