Senior Inspector for construction of facilities at the Memorial
valued at $1.5 billion. Performed inspection of structural steel and
placement of concrete to verify the quality and conformance to the
plans and specifications including excavation, pile driving,
structural steel, concrete, reinforcement bars, masonry and utilities
installation. Performed reviewing and analyzing contract drawings,
work coordination between Port Authority, PATH and general contractor
with respect to quality control and estimated quantities, preparation
of daily reports.
NYS DOT "RECONSTRUCTION OF BQE (I-278) FROM BROADWAY TO 61ST STREET"
PROJECT
Senior Inspector: Inspection and quality control during structural
excavation and demolition of existing bridge structures in accordance
with contract plans and Standard Specifications. Inspection during
installation of new Verizon, Con Edison, and DEP facilities over
various bridges. Quality control during installation of reinforcement
bars, formwork installation and structural concrete placement for
various structures such as pier footings, pier and abutment stems,
wingwalls, retaining walls, bridge decks and approach slabs.
Inspected erection of structural steel at Roosevelt Ave, 41st Ave,
and Queens Blvd bridges over BQE including erection of girders, cross
diaphragms, bolting and torque testing in accordance with contract
plans, Standard Specifications, and Steel Construction Manual.
Inspection of existing structural steel removal. Inspections of
backfilling operations including MSES backfill and backfill behind
new installed bridge abutments and retaining walls. Piles driving for
bridges and retaining walls foundations. Field concrete and soil
density testing. Concrete and asphalt concrete road pavement.
Analyzing as built, shop and contract drawings, making calculations
for payments, daily reporting as per MURK.

MTA/TBTA a" FENDER IMPROVEMENTS, THROGS NECK BRIDGE:
Chief inspector for TN-87 X project. Project entails driving new
fender piles and repair of existing piles to protect bridge piers,
spall repairs and scour backfill. Responsible for analyzing contract
data, cost estimate, processing payment and daily calculations for
pile driving records. Prepare weekly and daily reports. Worked
directly with TBTA officials.

KEY PROJECTS PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY a" NEWARK

AIRPORT
Senior inspector for SARP II project which includes $60 million
expansion of roadways accessing the airport from New Jersey Turnpike
and North Ave.; construction of two new bridges serving North Ave.;
reconstruction of Continental Airlines office and cargo buildings.
Piles driving, masonry, structural steel, precast and cast-in-place
concrete, asphalt-concrete. Construction of new and reconstruction of
existing utility lines. Responsible for review and analyzing contract
drawings and shop drawings, communication with Project Engineer and
Port Authority officials with respect to quality control, plans,
specifications and estimated quantities. Cost estimate for payments
and as-builts. Performed field concrete tests and maintained MPT on
major roads and highways during construction. Preparation of daily
reports as per MURK(2001- 2005).
METROPOLITAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY a" RECONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF
THE HENRY HUDSON BRIDGE AND ADJACENT HENRY HUDSON PARKWAY: Senior
inspector responsible for reviewing and analyzing contract drawings
and shop drawings, replacement of bridge deck and toll booths,
replacement of highway concrete roadway and rehabilitation of
highway's surrounding rock slope. Responsible for communication with
Project Engineer, MTA officials and general contractor with respect
to quality control, plans, specifications and quantity estimates.
Estimated quantities for payments and as-builts. Performed field
concrete tests, maintained MPT on highway and bridge during
construction. Preparation of daily reports as per MURK (2000-2001).
RECONSTRUCTION OF CURBS, SIDEWALKS AND PEDESTRIAN RAMPS FOR THE
BOROUGH OF THE BRONX, NY: Inspector for road and sidewalk
construction project totaling 3.8 million for the New York City
Department of Design and Construction. Performed daily construction
site inspections and concrete field-testing. Prepared Inspector's
daily reports and curb, sidewalks, and pedestrian ramp construction
cards. (2000)

Estimator for different phases of construction, including removals,
erection of foundations, masonry and sidewalk work.
