Senior Director - National Program
Reporting to the IT Chief of Staff, leading all interface responsibilities betwe
en Kaiser Permanente and IBM after the strategic partnership agreement
* Developed all Score Cards and Dash Board reports for management to track work
by IBM.
* Worked with business partners to develop all the KPI's required to measure the
companies new partnership with IBM
* Lead the meetings that developed the IT Governance structure currently used ma
nage the IBM partnership with Kaiser Permanente.
* Working with IBM to outline the requirements of the future Kaiser Permanente d
atacenters moving into the future.

Senior Director - Distributed Computing Infrastructure Operations
Reporting to the Senior VP of Infrastructure, I direct teams responsible for del
ivering of the EPIC EMR system to internal and external customers. Responsibili
ties consisting of 24/7 operation support of AD, servers (Microsoft/Linux), data
bases (MS SQL/Oracle), and SAN storage to 200,000+ end-users daily. Lead five te
ams responsible for application development and systems integration required to
deliver the EPIC application to all medical staff across the organization. Gener
ated reports for all critical systems supporting delivery of the EMR solution. P
repared and administered $68M annual budget to a 1% variance. Key Contributions:
* Continuously interacted with business stakeholders and technical leads to ensu
re that prioritized business drivers were being addressed in a timely manner, in
creasing customer satisfaction by 250%.
* Lead team to update and design www.kp.org adding integration with EPIC and inc
reasing its uptime to 99.999%
* Lead operations team to automate more than 70 manual processes, reducing chang
e-induced incidents by 80%.

* Implemented ITIL best practices throughout IT organization including the devel
opment of a fully functional CMDB
