Software Developer 5/2009 - 5/2010
* Performed software development, unit testing, and deployments of our Single So
urce core banking system. This system is a new, ground up build of a banking sys
tem which is competing with the much older legacy mainframe banking systems curr
ently in use in mid-sized community banks
* Technology platform is windows forms client written in C# with Oracle on Linux
as a database. .NET remoting is used as a communication method from clients to
backend business objects on Windows 2003+ servers. The System performs all banki
ng functions including; teller interface, POD, ACH, web transactions, core trans
actions, nightly processing, support all account types (Checking, Savings, CD's,
Loans, Line of Credit, Home Equity loans, Mortgages, Escrow, secondary market p
articipation, and more). Document and check imaging as well as notice, report, s
tatement generation and printing are also supported
* Worked on customer "Notice" creation - notices are sent customers for purposes
like; account past due, loan amortization, payment reminders, etcetera
* Worked on back end (COM+) business objects for numerous aspects of the system
* Built a "Safe Deposit Box" System
