Position: Project Manager
Project managed AT&T megadeals to provide telecom services to other companies in
diverse industries including pharmaceutical, insurance, automotive, state and g
overnment clients. Responsible for leading teams in a large matrixed environment
to do requirements definition, process re-engineering, development, testing, tr
aining, client setup, documentation, and release management for assigned initiat
ives. Managed changes made to Incident, Service Delivery, Problem, Billing, Cha
nge and Reports processes and systems to support the specific service needs for
each client. Delivered to clients solutions to allow work centers to manage thei
r business and operations.
Re-engineered the Business Objects reports environment to allow trained users to
create their own reports and access system data on demand. Business and Techni
cal sides had different views on the optimum report environment. Therefore, to
achieve consensus, led a prototyping effort for the new environment and engaged
stakeholders in role play. This became an interactive "hands-on" development ef
fort in which users provided real time feedback on the environment and reports.
This Agile approach led to consensus on data access and content for reports. M
onitored the initiative and provided updated status on Share Point.
Simplified reports and made them reusable cross deals and more comprehensive.
Led effort to define a web based portal for suppliers to use in Remedy.
Led effort to define the remedy system requirements for a web based vendor porta
l that external suppliers could access.
Led workflow efforts to re-engineer processes and automate handling of orders an
d tickets.
Led effort to improve data collected during ordering to better validate supplier
invoices.
Managed several user acceptance test efforts in Remedy.
Collected, prepped and loaded data to support new clients to migrate to the Reme
dy System. This required a strong understanding of the Remedy Database, strong

1/2006 filed a US Patent for AT&T in the area of VOIP.
Recipient of a United States Patent for designing a sensor for the United States
Army to stop Lithium batteries from exploding in the field. This invention can
prevent injury of troops during combat.
