Serving in Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom, and assigned to Detainee O
peration Guard Force Team Member. Manage and oversee lesson plan organization, t
raining schedule and classroom preparation. Execute proper operations security (
OPSEC) destruction of all materials determined no longer necessary for operation
al procedures and force protection guidelines.

facilities.
January 1999-July 2001 Deputy Warden
Deputy Warden and acting Facility Administrator in the absence of the Warden. Al
so Ethics, Compliance and Safety Officer. Facility has 60 to 180 day program for
parole violators. Maintained compliance standards for certifications with the T
exas Jail Commission and Federal Contracts.
June 1998-October 1999 Senior Warden
Opened up 768-bed facility with 207 employees. Provided administrative managemen
t in correct policies, procedures and followed ACA standards. Established qualit

Coordinated and supervised a 1,000-bed facility to a 2,500 capacity with 564 emp
loyees. Lending leadership and guidance to a staff composed of less experience i
n corrections. Experienced in multiple contracts, including nine contracts withi
n INS, BOP, Arizona, Alaska, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, US Marshals and Virgin
Islands. Member of (CLEA) County Law Enforcement Association, which organized s
ecurity during a biker convention held in Florence Arizona in 1997. Served as ga
ng intelligence officer at the command post, working closely with Local, State a

May 1996-July1996 Major of Correctional
Promoted to the rand of Major of Correctional Officers at the Dalhart Unit. Ofte
n served as the Duty Warden in the absence of the Assistant Warden and the Senio
r Warden. Supervised Captain, Lieutenants, Sergeants and approximately 250 other
employees. In charge of nine departments overall in Security Operations. Involv
ed in many local and community activities, including the Law Enforcement Agencie
s in local and surrounding counties.
December 1994-May 1996 Building Captain
Promoted to the rand of Building Captain at the Dalhart Unit. In this capacity,
assisted with the opening of this 1,200-bed facility. Served as the Duty Warden
in the absence of the Assistant Warden and the Senior Warden. Duties included th
e implementation of TDCJ policies and procedures from the stages of written form
the actual implementation of these policies. Other duties included supervising
all Lieutenants, Sergeants, and Correctional Officers to insure their compliance
with TDCJ Policies and procedures evaluating their performance. Periodically se
rved as a Board Member of the Unit Classification Committee. Maintained accurate
count, and observed all inmates and correctional staff assigned to the Field Fo
rce. I also performed many other duties as assigned and resolved issues before t
hey reached the Unit Warden.
January 1993-December 1994 Field Lieutenant/Agriculture Supervisor
Accepted assignment as Supervisor at the Jordan unit in order to be closer to fa
mily. Responsibilities supervising 10 Field Officers, 2 Sergeants and insured th
eir compliance with all Policies and Procedures. Assisted in training and usage
of emergency tracking dogs for prison and law enforcement purposes. Investigated
, reviewed and approved all incidents, offenses, and Use of Force reports, which
were generated by the Field Force. Kept an accurate time record on each officer
assigned under my supervision.
March 1990-January 1993 Building Captain
My duties as Captain included: Supervision of all Lieutenants, Sergeants, and Co
rrectional Officers, with 135 employees assigned to the First Shift and to insur
e total compliance. Routinely was acting Major, Visitations Captain and served o
n the Unit Classification Committee. Continually assigned as the Administrative
Captain.
May 1988-March 1990 Building Lieutenant
As Lieutenant at the Diagnostic Unit, supervised all Sergeants and Correctional
Officers, including 30 employees assigned to third shift. Investigated and revie
wed all incident and offense reports. Scheduled daily work routines and kept an
accurate time record on each officer assigned under my supervision.
January 1988-May 1988 Transportation Sergeant
Duties included the coordination and supervision on inmate's court appearances i
n State and Federal Courts. Coordinated and supervised all state and farm chains
arriving and department the diagnostic Unit as well as while they were in trans
it.
January 1987-Jaunary 1988 Building Sergeant
Assigned to second shift and performed many duties as assigned supervising corre
ctional officers on the shift.

Assisted Sergeants ad Lieutenants in daily assigned duties of state and Nation-w
