Work Experience Overview:
February 2007-June 2010 - Design Planner, Pratt Corporation
Responsibilities:
* Managed design, development and implementation of hardware systems into new re
tail decor programs. I managed my team from conception to supervision of initial
roll-out with a focus on exceeding customer's expectations.
o Responsible for sourcing vendors, for prototype and roll out production of har
dware items.
* Worked directly with Value Streams and manufacturing to develop standard work
programs.
* Supervised prototype store implementation resulting in roll-out installation g
uidelines also managed project across departmental boundaries to keep projects o
n schedule and on budget.
Highlights:
* Walmart (Project Impact),2009 key member of ramp-up team to develop store dec
or elements for installation in over 120 stores in four months. 2010 key member
of Retail Implementation Team to install 360 stores.
* Firestone Complete Auto Care, 2007-08 managed all hardware creation and implem
entation of 140 store roll-out. Prototype store showed 38% sales increase over s
ame fiscal quarter in previous year.
* O'Reilly Auto Parts, developed perimeter signage program that won a two millio
n dollar re-branding program in 2008-09
* Shoe Carnival, key team member in value engineering existing program to win a
one million dollar program for 2010
* Circle K Convenience Stores, Finished development and managed entire productio
n of 2009 Tobacco Board program, produced 451 units with less than 1% manufactur
ing defects.
* Member of Quality Assurance Team, 2007-2010 charged with identifying and elim
inating manufacturing errors, to ensure and increase profit margin.
November 2004-January 2007 - Product Manager, Searle Exhibit Technologies (SET)
Responsibilities:
* Handled all aspects of developing and delivering the product (Ambidex Walls) t
o market. Sourced, selected and managed vendor/manufacturer relationships, direc
ted development of website content and overall layout, product development and p
rice setting. Created and executed all Marketing and Sales strategies for the Am
bidex product line.
Highlights:
* Ambidex Modular Aluminum Wall System
o Finalized design of all extrusions and determined product mix in first six mon
ths of employ
o Established production and quality protocols
o Created marketing plan including managing website content (www.getsetonline.co
m)
o Analyzed competition, and market for proper market placement and pricing struc

Responsibilities:
* Design duties entailed: Conceptualizing and designing original exhibits, retai
l (POP) displays and environments for Delta Faucet Co, Baldwin Hardware, Weiser
Lock, Merillat Cabinets, AquaGlass, Watkins Manufacturing (HotSpring and Caldera
Spas).
* Project Management responsibilities entailed: Handling coordination of variou
s projects simultaneously while concentrating on meeting budget, timeline and qu
ality standards. Sourcing and handling vendors, troubleshooting issues as they a
rose and communicating with the client on a one-on-one basis
* Account Management; Arranged show services for Delta Faucet Company, (includin
g regional shows). Determined and arranged I&D labor and shipping.
Highlights:
* Watkins Manufacturing (HotSpring and Caldera Spas) created corporate identity
showroom design program for Watkins manufacturing, set up national programs with
vendors for carpeting (Mohawk), Tile (Daltile) and Paint (Sherwin Williams). Cr
eated corporate standards for showrooms and internal enhancements for maximum vi
sual impact, Watkins Caldera prototype store realized a 50% increase in sales ov
er the same period in the previous year. Which Watkins Marketing Department util
ized to reach implementation goals for the program.
* Delta Faucet Showroom/Retail Pod Program created cross functional product disp
lay system for Delta to display the entire product mix. I utilized innovations t
hat beat the target budget for this program.
November 1995 - August 1998 - Exhibit Designer, Hamilton Exhibits, Indianapolis,

Responsibilities:
* Partnered with account executives to meet their clients' design needs; produce
d concepts, final designs, presentation scale models and specifications for give
n designs. Accompanied the account executive for presentations and worked with p
roduction through completion of projects.
Highlights:
* Team designer on winning bid for initial $350K build-out of 120' X 180' Island
Exhibit for Anheuser-Busch
* Lead designer on winning bid for initial $120K build-out of 40' X 80' Modular
