TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND AWARDS:
Over 20 years of US Army experience. Served 4 years as an Airborne Infantryman,
16 years as a Medical Non-commissioned Officer, including 8 years as a Special
Operations Combat Medical NCO.
* Performed small team medical support and planning for over 20 sensitive operat
ions in Colombia, Bosnia, Africa, Afghanistan, Iraq and other theaters.
* Experienced in Closed Quarters Battle (CQB) techniques and medical response /
expert qualifications and comfortable with handguns and long guns, transitions f
rom concealed and dynamic moving ranges / motorcade operations and defensive dri
ving / hand to hand fighting know-how.
* Maintained currency as an Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP) NCO, Emergency
Medical Technician EMT for the past 10 years.
* Master Planner. Devised the recruitment, assessment and selection process for
DOD Special Operation medical personnel for a large sensitive program by network
ing with field grade officers and senior non-commissioned officers within the gl
obal Special Operations enterprise.
* Special Mission Brigade Commander's Medical Advisor: Supported assessment and
selection courses of special operations personnel for sensitive programs conduc
ted in austere urban and rural environments with minimal logistic, CI and medica
l support. Trained, assessed and prepared personnel for medical preventative mea
sures and trauma readiness in over 100 platforms in 6 separate sensitive areas o
f operation.
Awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) fo
r providing a comprehensive medical evacuation plan for DOD personnel and other
government agencies.
Frequently requested by name to provide support and training to other government
