erilizing and distribution of $20 million worth of surgical instruments and medi
cal equipment for Surgical Services and all Ancillary Departments. . The surgica
l sets processed everyday was Plastic sets, Minor sets, Major Sets, D&C, Abdomin
al/Vaginal Hysterectomy, L&D, Major/Minor Ortho, Spinal fusions (large and small
) Curette sets etc.
Processed and sterilized 50 + vendor instrument sets for the surgery team.
Worked 11-7 shift, duties included pulling surgery cases, decontamination, proc
essing and assembly and sterilization of the next morning surgeries. I also had
to conduct biological testing to 10 sterilizers during the 11-7 shift.
Ordering surgical supplies for the 15 operating rooms once a month. Inventory c
ount as given biweekly and monthly.
