Project Leader, SAP Change Management and Training 2007 - 2009
Responsible for 5-person change management team and 40-member training team cons
isting of line-of-business experts both union and non-union for a $160 million C
RM system implementation.
* Led training initiative charged with training 3,000 end-users in 7,000 SAP rol
es. This started with the purchase and set up of new PCs and other equipment f
or 22 rooms of 12 seats and ended with the decommissioning of these same rooms a
nd equipment. This was completed on time and within budget.
* Led the development of approximately 30 different training manuals that averag
ed 250 pages long of which 7,000 were reproduced.
* Ensured that several practice labs were up and running smoothly which kept end
-users current prior to "go-live." This also involved purchasing the equipment
and getting rooms set up.
* Established a SharePoint site for end users to be able to retrieve the latest
documents, which saved over fifty thousand dollars in distribution costs, time,
and materials due to eliminating the need for full reprints of manuals.
Co-Chair of PSEG Women's Network, an internal network for about 500 PSEG women
2006 - 2009
* Conducted approximately eight annual "Lunch 'n Learns" on various topics such
as "Women and Politics", "Women's Leadership", "Finance for Women", "Developing
your Elevator Speech", etc.
* Created a SharePoint site for the Women's Network which resulted in revolution
izing the signing up process for all meetings throughout the company.
* Developed an internal mentoring program for women called "Reaching Out" where
50 women signed up to mentor others on specific topics.
Manager, Gas Forecasting 2004 - 2007
Responsible for managing associates that produced the company's gas forecast whi
ch ultimately got presented to Wall Street in revenue and earnings projections.
* Initiated and developed model to estimate daily gas revenue. Previously no me
thodology was available to determine this, as only monthly data was used.
* Earned responsibility for final review of Accounting's revenue numbers as a re
sult of persistent evaluation and analysis of each month's reported gas revenue.
As a result, my team was able to make revisions prior to close which would hav
e otherwise resulted in millions of dollars of variance errors.
Manager, Marketing 2002 - 2006
Led various marketing initiatives such as the development of a business case for
our billing and payment options. This position was partly coincident with the
Manager, Gas Forecasting position.
* Led a team of business and technical professionals in analysis of new service
offering of customer broadband internet access via electric power lines. Develo
ped financials that showed technology not ready for deployment, saving $500K-$1M
M that would have been spent on a pilot.
Workforce Diversity Manager - Nominated leadership position 2001-2002
Met diversity goals by seeking out diverse candidate pools in the community and
explaining affirmative action laws to field managers. Partnered with schools and
training organizations to recruit diverse candidates.
* Directed a team in the development of a Career Guide, which assisted internal
and external candidates in acquiring positions within PSE&G by aiding in resume
writing, interviewing, and taking entry-level tests. This guide has been the mo
st downloaded item on pseg.com annually since implementation.
* Served as lead for the development of a recruitment brochure that was used and
copied by other groups within corporate PSEG.
