* Active member of the finance team responsible for complex financial analysis,
the month-end close and net capital and reserve requirement filings.
* Successfully managed to bring the month end closing cycle down from 20 days to
3 days through the use of FRx . By using this powerful reporting tool, we were
able to generate a flash report on day one, full sets of financials for each de
partment, stand alone subsidiaries and the consolidated group on the fly. Month
ly accounting book was formatted in FRx to perform substantially all of the GL a
ccount reconciliations to support the monthly financial statement balances. FRx
was also formatted to produce the detailed account information for Net Capital a
nd Reserve Requirement purposes.
* Successfully brought the tax preparation process in-house using Pro-Systems ta
x preparation software. FRx was key in completing this project as it easily all
owed for direct reporting and analysis from the General Ledger. A separate set
of tax books were set up in Great Plains. Tax extensions became a thing of the
past.
* Upon the sale of the company first to Instinet / Reuters, the management team
moved me into a key account management role - Vice President of Global Client Se
rvices (see above). I continued in this role after Instinet / Reuters sold Lync

status on budgets vs. forecast, change orders requested, approved and denied and
