Accessing Oracle Global Customer Support


Oracle customers have access to electronic and telephone support for Siebel Business Applications through Oracle Global
Customer Support at http://www.oracle.com/siebel/support.html.
Hearing-impaired customers in the U.S. who wish to speak to an Oracle Support representative may use a
telecommunications relay service (TRS). Information about the TRS is available at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/
consumerfacts/trs.html, and a list of telephone numbers is available at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/dro/trsphonebk.html.
International hearing-impaired customers should use the TRS at +1.605.224.1837. An Oracle Support engineer will
respond to technical issues according to the standard service request process.

About My Oracle Support


My Oracle Support is an online support portalthat offers you secure real-time access to support information from Oracle.
It is a source of information, diagnostic tools, and support assistance. My Oracle Support provides a repository of
technical articles, Service Request (SR) access, and the ability to create a personalized home page.
Log in to My Oracle Support at https://support.oracle.com to access the My Oracle Support Welcome Center (Doc ID
873313.1) from the Getting Started area. The Getting Started area is your single resource for information, training, and
reference materials that will help you get started using My Oracle Support. The Getting Started region on the Dashboard
tab will help you learn how to effectively use My Oracle Support.
Only the designated contacts of licensed customers have access to My Oracle Support.

Oracle Discussion Forums, http://forums.oracle.com/forums/main.jspa?categoryID=84, is an interactive community for
sharing information, questions, and comments about Oracle products and related technologies. A product manager
moderates each discussion forum. Knowledgeable users from the community visit each discussion forum frequently.

You can update the installed Siebel Tools Online Help by copying only the files (and not the folder itself) in the
ToolsOnlineHelp folder provided with this bookshelf to the help folder where you installed Siebel Tools (usually,
<ToolsInstallationFolder>\HELP\ENU). To launch Tools Online Help directly from its folder, open tools.chm.

You can also launch Tools Online Help directly from this Siebel Bookshelf.

NOTE: The Tools Online Help link will work only in a Microsoft Windows environment.

Using Adobe Reader


To view Siebel Bookshelf PDF files and use search functionality, you must have Adobe Reader. You must open the
homepage in Adobe Reader and not in a Web browser with the PDF plugin; some features will not function properly in
a Web browser.

You can download the latest version of Adobe Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions.

You can use the search functionality to find topics in all PDF files in the Bookshelf by clicking the Search button on the
Home page.
