 PRE-REQUISITES

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

1. 486 / Pentium or Higher.

2. Floppy Diskette drive 1.44 MB
3. Minimum 60MB space should
Be available on the Hard Disk
4. 132 Columns Printer for
Stock Statement report

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Windows 97, 98, 2000, XP
2. WinZip (Available on this CD -
Install it first)

SETTINGS
1. Print is only possible with the
default printer. So change
the default printer
accordingly.

 If the software (ISCS) is already installed at your
computer, before installing the new version – kindly
remove the previous version. Steps to remove the
previous version are attached at the end of this
document.

FOLLOWING ARE THE STEPS
TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE
ON PC (Personal Computer)

Steps:
Download or insert the software CD and extract the zip file (ISCS.zip)

When files extracted then double click the file setup.

First following screen appear on the desktop Press yes and complete the installation.

Then complete the installation of crystal Fix which will be displayed after first
installation.

Now following screen appears.

Type anything in Serial Number, the ‘Next’ button activates. Press the ‘Next’

To install the software at folder shown in the ‘destination folder’ click ‘Next’
button Otherwise, press ‘Browse’ button and select the appropriate
destination (drive and path) where that software is to be installed. (figure e)

Install ‘ISCS’ software on DB server and on clients.
Please follow the below mentioned steps:
STEP1:

1. configure the ODBC using the following Steps:

 Double click ‘My Computer’ icon on desktop
 Double click control panel icon
 Double click on the ODBC data source icon (In case of
Window’s 2000, double click the button Administrative Tools
and then ODBC data source icon will appear)
 Select User DSN tab and then press the Add button. A list of
Driver will appear on the screen namely ‘Create new data
source’
 Select the Microsoft-Access Driver (*.mdb)
 Press the finish button
2. A screen labeled ODBC Microsoft Access setup will appear. Enter
‘ISCS’ at Data Source Name
3. At Database Frame press ‘Select’ button. A screen labeled ‘Select
Database’ will appear.
4. Press the ‘Network’ button and a Screen will appear labeled ‘Map
Network drive’
5. For Windows 2000,press the browser button, a screen labeled
“Browse for folder” will appear. In this screen a list of Groups or
Domain will appear. From the Browse List
 Select your required database computer
 Select database path
 Select ‘ISCS’
 Press ‘Finish’ button and then press OK button
 Select invoicebill.mdb and press OK button twice
For Windows 98 environment
Select Drive and then enter path name in the format ‘\\destination
computer name (DB Server Name)\drive name\ database path
(program files\PRAL)\ISCS. Path name ‘PRAL’ name is default
you can change it. Press Ok button and select ‘ClaimantDB.mdb’.
Press OK button twice

Please follow the below mentioned steps:
STEP2:

For Windows 98 environment

Select Drive and then enter path name in the format ‘\\destination

(program files\PRAL)\ISCS. Path name ‘PRAL’ name is default
you can change it. Press Ok button and select ‘STARRDB.mdb’.
Press OK button twice
Note: Reports generation and backup should be carried out from Database
Server.

HOW TO RUN THE ‘ISCS’ Software

Step 1.
To run the software, at window Desktop, double click the ‘ISCS’ icon, or ISCS

Step 2.
As the system runs, it requests for the login ID and the password. Initially
enter the following user id and password to access the system.

User ID : cbr
Password: cbr

Step 3.
When the software runs for the first time, On the Main Menu, Select ‘Claimant
Profile’ and fill out the form. The information provided will be used in different
forms of the software.

NOTE: Software is supported by a help on each screen, press F1 for help

 Steps to remove the already installed software
(IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO REMOVE THE ALREADY INSTALLED
SOFTWARE BEFORE INSTALLING THIS NEW VERSION OF SOFTWARE)

1. Double click the icon, the following screen appears.

Select the ‘Remove’ option and press the ‘Next’ button.

Press the ‘OK’ button
