Information, Referral and Follow Up Program Manager: Army Community Service- Cam
p Zama, Japan (2007-Present). Establish, maintain,organize and consolidate infor
mation on service organizations on base; develop and execute short and long term
marketing objectives and plans for ACS; develop and coordinate assessments to i
dentify customer needs; conduct intake evaluations with individuals and families
in need of social service assistance and refer these clients to the appropriate
services; supervise Japanese volunteers; teach English classes; provide informa
tion to the Camp Zama community on military and civilian resources available on
and off base to address a wide range of client needs; prepare the I & R departm
ent to pass ACS accreditation in 2010.
New Parent Support Program Specialist: Army Community Service- Camp Zama, Japan
(2005-2007). Conducted early identification, screening and needs assessments for
expectant and new parents to identify potentially abusive situations; referred
"high needs" clients for support services and classes; conducted monthly classes
for the community and individual classes on child development, positive parenti
ng, child health and safety, pre-natal care; conducted bi-weekly interactive pla
y groups for parents and their children from birth-6 years of age; maintained a
monthly breast feeding support group for expectant, nursing and weaning mothers;
marketed the New Parent Support Program using various multi media outlets withi
n the Camp Zama community; coordinated with other providers of pre/post natal se
rvices in the community such as MEDDAC-J, WIC Overseas, Behavioral Health Servic
e to provide education and support on healthy parenting to decrease the occurren
ce of child abuse in the military community.
Family Advocacy Program Case Manager: USAMEDDAC-JAPAN Behavioral Health Service-
Camp Zama, Japan (2003-2005). Investigated allegations of child and spouse abuse
within the Camp Zama community; prepared and presented cases of alleged child
and spouse abuse to the monthly Case Review Committee Meeting for determination
of substantiation; provided case management and supervision to offenders of abus
e; conducted intake interviews and assessments for mental health services, subst
ance abuse services and child and spouse abuse cases; participated as an on-call
provider two weeks per month for family violence, mental health and substance a
buse emergencies; provided staff in-service trainings on a variety of mental he
alth topics; prepared the FAP to pass JCAHO accreditation in 2004.
Program Supervisor: Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility-Columb
us, Ohio (2003). Supervised, trained and evaluated Program Department staff; ass
isted the Program Manager in conducting disciplinary actions, performance apprai
sals and hiring of new staff; researched developed and implemented psychosocial,
academic and testing programs; developed curriculum statements; trained interns
and volunteers.

n and reporting classes for service members, child care personnel and teachers o
n base; developed and conducted workshops on mental health topics for the commun

and child development; established and maintained a support group for single par
ents, marketed the Family Advocacy Program using various multi media outlets on
base.
Native English Speaker Teacher: Matsuka Phonics Institute-Machida, Japan (1997-1
998). Taught English language and American culture to Japanese children and comp
any staff; developed and proofread materials for company English publications.

1997). Provided supervision to administrative and clinical staff; conducted staf
