PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I am an experienced reservoir & production engineer with a total of 30+ years wi
th a major service company, a major oil company, an engineering university & a n
ational oil company. These assignments included management, operations, coordina
tion of service work & hands-on engineering. My profile, in addition to offering
a strong technical background & communication skills, has a proven record of ex
cellent interactions with large oil companies, while working in eight countries
over the last three decades.
I have worked closely with the management and engineers of national oil companie
s, government agencies, major resource holders or large independents operating g
lobal assets and have contributed in the,
1. monitoring and implementation of due diligence on field development, producti
on management and data acquisition projects;
2. effective use of diagnostic measurements in oil & gas wells and recommended w
ell treatments, if necessary;
3. review of interim & final reports covering field development plans and make r
ecommendations to senior management;
CURRENT SKILL SETS
* Evaluate wells & reservoirs for reserves, production potential & production e
nhancement. Evaluation may include reviewing all the historical data, technical
reports, simulation results, laboratory fluid & rock analysis reports, petrophys
ical interpretation, geological images, production logs, wireline & well test pr
essure data interpreted results and well files.
* Suggest remedial measures on under-performing wells. Coordinate the field wor
k and facilitate implementation of remedial services.
* Applies classical reservoir engineering methodology, effectively.
* Manage, motivate & train a group of younger Reservoir & Production Engineers
to perform the tasks mentioned above.
* Special strengths are in well test design, implementation & interpretation.
* An effective presenter of technical work. Identifies & conveys the main point
s, succinctly.
