Research Eligibility Test (RET)

ADVERTISEMENT

Applications are invited for Research Eligibility Test (RET) for provisional admission to Ph.D.
Programme being run in following university teaching departments :
1. Department of Jainology and Comparative Religion & Philosophy
2. Department of Prakrit and Sanskrit
3. Department of Science of Living, Preksha Meditation and Yoga
4. Department of Nonviolence and Peace
5. Department of Social Work
6. Department of Education.
Eligibility: Candidates must have Masters Degree with at least 55% marks.
Date of RET and Center: 05-08-2011 at JVB University, Ladnun
Paper I General Aptitude Test: 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM;
(Current Affairs, Reasoning, Research Aptitude etc.)
Paper II Subject Paper: 01.00 PM to 4.00 PM
Date of Personal Interview: August 08-09, 2011 at JVB University, Ladnun.
Exemption: Candidates who have qualified UGC JRF/NET/SLET or passed M.Phil. only under
UGC Regulation 2009 are exempted from the RET. But all exempted candidates are also required to
submit the application form for processing and consideration.
Application Form: Application Form may be downloaded from the university website: www.jvbi.ac.in;
the duly filled application form must reach the Director, Research, JVB University, Ladnun
(Rajasthan) along with a Demand Draft of the requisite fee i.e. application fee Rs. 500/- along with
Research Eligibility Test fee of Rs. 750/- in favour of Registrar, Jain Vishva Bharati University,
Ladnun, payable at Ladnun, latest by 30-06-2011.
Other information related to the Rules for the award of Ph.D. Degree, subject-wise seats (tentative),
syllabus, Test paper scheme, etc. is available on the university website. Candidates appeared/
appearing in PG Final Annual/Semester exam may also apply for admission to Ph.D. Program/RET
but they have to submit the mark-sheet of final exam on or before the date of conduct of RET.
