Dear Fellow Princetonian,

I am pleased to announce my candidacy as Mayor of Princeton Borough and seek your support in
ensuring that Princeton has a bright future.

Recently, a number of people have asked me to run for Mayor as a result of growing
dissatisfaction with the current choice of candidates. After exploratory discussions with many
residents and businesses, I have discovered that our community has a genuine hunger for
thoughtful, fair, and pro-active leadership. They want new solutions and someone who shares
their desire to preserve the quality of life in this special place we call Princeton.

My husband, Fernando Guerrero, and I have lived in Princeton for over 16 years, during which
time I have cared deeply about this community. I am concerned about our future as Princeton
faces a number of challenges including high property taxes, a dysfunctional "town-gown"
relationship, and a possible consolidation. With so much at stake, we need a fresh perspective.

In order to become a candidate listed in the Republican column on the November General
Election ballot, I need you to "write-in" my name in the Primary Election on Tuesday, June
7th. Let's send a loud message that Princeton deserves a better choice. You can help me by
following the simple instructions below:

June 7th - Write In Nomination Process

NOTE: If you are an "unaffiliated" voter, you must declare yourself a Republican to the poll
representative before you enter the voting booth. An election helper will be available to help
you, if you need assistance.
1. Once inside the voting booth, go to "PERSONAL CHOICE" column and push button
“10” across from "MAYOR". A blinking green "X" will appear.
2. Enter the name JILL JACHERA on the keyboard below one letter at a time.
a. Do not press "enter" after the first name, Jill.
b. To enter the space between the first and last name, use the arrow pointing right
on the keyboard (). If you do not, your vote will not count.
c. To make a correction, use the arrow pointing left ().
3. Confirm you have typed the name correctly, JILL JACHERA, then press the ENTER
key. Do not enter CAST VOTE until you enter your other votes.
4. Finish entering your votes for the other offices, then press CAST VOTE to register all
your votes.
I have been actively involved in the Princeton community and have both the leadership
experience and passion to lead Princeton through these challenging times and into a brighter
future. My experience as a lawyer for 24 years, a YWCA Board of Director for nine years
(including Board President for two years), and my active participation in numerous school
programs and scouting troops has provided a unique opportunity to give back so as to enhance
the lives of many. Now I wish to do so for all Princetonians.

as your new Mayor.
