A MESSAGE TO ALUMNI FROM THE UNDERGRADUATE PRESIDENT/RI CK JENKS 172

Due to the s pirited effort of the undergraduate members , and the continual con -
tribtion of energies from the alumni, our s umme r rush program was highly s ucces s
ful. We were rewarded by this s pirit, which prevailed throughout formal rus h, by a
pledge class of eleven and two trans fer members, a considerable number taking into
account the fact that there were fewer men going through rus h than ever before;

SPIRIT AND ENTHUSIASM

( We have no doubt that the s pirit and enthus ias m which exists in the TKE house
this fal.! will continue to bind the members of our Chapter together in brQtherhood
throughout the remaining s chool year . This enthusiasm is kept alive not only through
irdividual interes t in the hous e but als o through/the s ocial calendar planned and carried
out by our imaginative and innovative s ocial chairman, Russ Riera.
