best fraternity on campus?" and the answer is unanimously, TKE.

Communication: Turning Thoughts Message from the Hypophetes!

With extra curricular activities ranging
from scholastic clubs to student government, Nu
chapter's diverse Fraters come together from all
their varied engagements and demanding sched­
ules to participate in a unique, democratic or­
ganization.
Essential to any democratic organiza­
tion is communication. As the Epiprytanis in
charge of committee chair oversight, I have
recognized the demand for a revamped commit­
tee organizational structure in order to expand
the field of communication among officers,
chairs, and fraters.
Committee chairs are responsible for
activities ranging from social events to philan­
thropy, to fundraising and scholarship. Berke­
ley is rich, not only with the diversity of stu­
dents that attend this university, but also the
ideas and actions which emanate from their
brilliant and innovative minds. Our fraters must
be able to vocalize their ideas with the anticipa­
tion that their insights will be used to further the
fraternity's success and development.
With the ideas generated from our fra­
ters, a means must be created to funnel their
thoughts into action. In previous years, the .

As this is the first Nu News in almost a year, I feel like I have a lot
to update everyone on. Spring of '05 was my first semester as flypophetes
and we started the year off right with our retreat which I helped Prytnis
Tom Bell plan. We drove a monster RV the size of a grey ho d to South
Lake Tahoe to a four thousand foot suite at the Golden Nugget where we

great time with the Reno TKEs who were exceedingly hospitable and who
