* Coordinate daily processing of over 300,000 cases, utilizing state of the art
RF inventory track, 9.5 miles of conveyor, and voice picking systems.
* Coordinate daily setups for order filling (split and full case), receiving, an
d shipping, inventory (storage and replenishments) and ensure all resources are
available to accomplish these setups.
* Provide daily leadership to 10 managers and 250 hourly associates.
* Directly and indirectly responsible for an annual budget of $5,000,000, to inc
lude, recommendations for capital expenditures.
* Set staffing levels and coordinate hiring through the HR Department.
* Directly responsible for managing a daily inventory of $40,000,000

* Helped plan, organize, and direct the successful startup of the Morehead Distr
ibution Center.
* Yearly performance improvements, in the areas, of productivity, safety, and qu
ality.
* Helped lead the Morehead DC to the top ranking in the Family Dollar network, t
