ing of their needs and lead them in crafting high-powered, quality solutions. I

nd QTV certified.
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Saved Key Energy $102K in engine repair costs. Western region was forced to purc
hase engines for equipment refurbishing and re-powering. Partnered with John Dee
re for direct buys, eliminating third-party markups of 15 to 20%. Received prefe
rred priority status on sales and service. Implemented process at all other regi
ons.
Increased Key Energy uptime 25% on repaired equipment. Company began to experien
ce major quality failures of outsourced repairs. Initiated formal TQM problem-so
lving process. Identified root causes and eliminated potential catastrophic fail
ures on repaired equipment. Improved quality across-the-board and raised uptime
to 98%.
Slashed bag seal failures 96%. Bolthouse Farms faced growing complaints on poor/
weak bag seals. Established cross-functional team to perform problem solving exe
rcise. Implemented go/no-go test to measure seal integrity. Put audit plan in pl
ace to ensure consistency. Reduced failures and integrity issues from.05% to .00
2%.
Implemented positive changes to facility work climate. Mobil Chemical Plant need
ed to drive change and cost reductions. Used basic solving and process improveme
nt skills to identify and resolve negative issues with specific, measurable and
value-added results for the customer. Process improvement teams reduced costs $4
00K.
Reduced out-of-spec production 62%. Mobil Chemical post-production quality inspe
ctions were ineffective. Devised in-line quality checks, providing real-time dat
a for each line. Implemented run-and-control charting. Monitored quality real-ti
me, using 48% fewer staff. Along with production improvements, cut process varia
tion 53%.
Decreased bid response time 77%. Process Unlimited was missing bid opportunities
and potential business due to lack of formal processes and lengthy development
time. Established Tiger Team, fleshing out projects, bid development, deliverabl
es and cost estimates. Increased bid accuracy and lowered costs 50%.
