Weekly interface with Florida Power & Light Senior Management on sc heduling and unique hurdles for each job. * During the Phase Two Endeavor project, I assisted with the inspection of the i nstallation and commissioning of twenty Clipper turbines. * I was the Assistant Site manger on a new 43/ 2.3 MW turbine site, managing the civil and land owner issues. * I was the Site Manager for the Crystal Lake site. I inspected and ensured the PRT and SCADA system were completed correctly. January 2007 to February 2008 Clipper Wind Energy Traveling position Commission Supervisor * I was one of only two Commissioning Supervisors in Clipper during its first ye ar of operation. Because it was a small startup company I was tasked with many r esponsibilities, more than can be listed on a resume. * I was responsible for the commissioning of Clipper wind turbine generators, an d running a team of up to 75 Clipper commissioners to meet this goal. * I trouble shoot complicated mechanical and electrical anomalies within wind tu rbine generator systems. * I assisted in all areas of site construction and commissioning as directed by the site supervision. * I was able to perform all mechanical and electrical component testing and ulti mately made repairs as needed. * I conducted training lessons as needed to enhance other employees technical kn owledge * I acted as a role model within the field environment to ensure all procedures are followed as required. * During this time, not only did I direct the day to day commissioning of the si tes, but I was also tasked to lead a team of engineers to help determine multipl e engineering defaults. * During this time I was asked to assist Clipper in the commissioning supervisor y role on three sites: Steel Winds (Buffalo NY), Endeavor (Harris IA), and Papie ch (Papiech Il). On all projects I was commended by my direct supervisors and up per management on my managerial skills. * Attended the week-long "7 Habits for Managers" Course designed by Stephen Cove y. Attended "The Art of Leadership" Course. Took the "Counter-drug Training Co urse" that teaches the detection of illegal narcotic useage and is used by Polic e Agencies nationwide. February 2005 to January 2007 GE: Contractor Pen Power Traveling position Retrofit Crew Leader and Commissioner * Traveled to multiple sites with little to no supervision, made my own travel a rrangements, both nationally and internationally. * I was responsible for small teams (ten people or less) on multiple projects th at were commissioning wind turbines. * I correctly completed tasks and trouble shot complicated problems that dealt w ith both electrical and mechanical failures all while working at great heights m aking these tasks very physically demanding. * I am very Safety oriented. To that effect on every site I was tasked with comp leting safety meetings and inspections. I was quickly promoted to Safety Coordin ator at the Canadian Hydro site in Lefthbridge Canada. I was tasked with setting up and training individuals on the safety program at the site. I stayed at the Canadian site for nearly a year as an O&M TA. * I was the customer interface at the Canadian Hydro site. I completed staff ca lls, daily reports, availability reporting, down turbine analysis, labor staffin g & actual weekly production reports. Also completed Environmental, Health and S afety services, analyzed EHS issues, I am HAZ MAT trained. I have given HAZ MAT training, Converter training, and Wind Farm Management Training.
