LOGISTICS MANAGER SUITE

LOGISTICS MANAGER SUITE brings together all of the products developed and integrated by a-SIS into 3
main functional sections:

 Supply Chain Management: decision-making layers which allow the control of multi-site organisation,
the allocation of orders to the right warehouse, as well as the management of supplies and the
optimisation of stock levels. .
 Warehouse Management: warehouse control from goods-in to dispatch..
 Flow Management: the optimisation of transport flows, with complete solutions which can be applied
just as well to "loaders" as to "transport organiser" profiles.

Why LOGISTICS MANAGER SUITE ?

The fundamental idea is the conviction that the logistic systems, given the environmental and energy-saving
preoccupations, will be increasingly multi-site and hierarchical.
The Supply Chain’s information systems will have to find the balance between platform organisation, stock
distribution and flow optimisation to fulfil the market’s demands and service quality aims.

Logistics Manager Suite: at the core of the Supply Chain Execution

Shortening delivery deadlines, increasing the number of references, product heterogeneity, frequent
changes in managed references, very low error tolerance, fluctuating or seasonal activity, respecting quality
norms and standards... These are our stakes, whether in an activity growth context or the development of
your logistic strategy. The optimisation of physical storage, to reduce the need in working capital

Relying on an extended functional coverage and the added value from the best sectorial practices, our
solutions enable you to progress in concrete terms on 5 performance axes:

Physical storage optimisation, to reduce the working capital need

The first mandatory condition for optimized operation of the logistic site is good storage
organisation starting with clever product dispatch at goods-in. This important step must take
the features defined for each product into account based on a set of storage rules which is
completely customised by parameters, a slotting tool and ABC analysis.
The optimisation of the picking area is also important. Our tool for picking layout allows
optimised positioning of the logistic units. So taking the geographic constraints and each
product's time parameters into account and allocating each product to different picking
locations, our solutions optimise the picking and balance the workload for the different picking
locations.

Productivity optimisation, synonymous with financial performance

The warehouse's overall performance depends on efficient well-designed processes. The
optimisation starts with the reception of the goods, for instance by scheduling bay activity and
by a pre-planned integration of the goods coming in. Once the productidentified in the
warehouse, the automatic and efficient management of the stock movements allows the
optimization of the operator movements.
Order fulfilment is a key process and is secured by an adapted supply management ensuring
supply without interruption and by a load simulation tool for launching by wave and by box.
Our WMS also features activity balancing, resource optimisation by area and the scheduling of
transport operations.
Our numerous pre-packing and slotting optimisation methods ensure our systems correspond to
sophisticated split case picking. Furthermore we offer an innovative range of assistance tools from voice
solutions to pick-to-light displays to increase the picking speed.

Quality improvement, a real advantage over competitors
Overall quality is primarily based on a complete and well organized product database. The
products must be efficiently checked at goods-in including full features and strict suppleir
quality control. The conformity of the stock is also important for good warehouse operation.
This is ensured by regularly stock reports and continuous stock input and output control.
Another important point for any logistic manager is the reduction of the picking error rate
which is ensured by the real time control of the operations and checking procedures at the end
of the line. And the final point for picking quality is the dispatch load check.

multi-level traceability, synonymous with safety
Traceability is a critical point in certain fields of activity and presents two levels:

 Product traceability: products are traced by batches and serial numbers facilitating the
product recall;
 Event traceability: the historisation of operations enables you to have available
performance analyses and a full audit trail (GAMP and FDA 21 CFR PART 11 norms),
whether in the warehouse or during the deliveries to final customers.

Activity improvement using decision-making control, to improve anticipation
Our solutions allow you to monitor activity for each logistic process: quantities which were
actually received, changes in stock status, dispatches carried out, transport activity
monitoring, deliveries received... At any time, it is possible to display the stock content by
product code, the occupancy rate by location, each movement’s general history or transport
mission planning.
Numerous functionalities allow you to plan human and material resources, to organise carrier
allocation, to simulate transport costs and to allocate your own vehicles to delivery missions.
Using dedicated interfaces, the detailed monitoring of operators’, pickers’ and drivers’ activity
takes place in real time.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

The Supply Chain Management solution aim to facilitate logistic decision-makers’ missions by offering
them functionalities from the optimisation of stock levels to multi-site control whatever the type of logistic
organisation: regional warehouses, central platform and proximity depots, dedicated centres ...:

 Optimisation of stock levels - dormant, dead, safety… - depending on the desired service rates
 Supply calculation
 Real time follow-up of current, future and in transit stock
 Simulation and multi-criteria allocation of orders on different logistic platforms: product families,
distribution channels, transport proximity…
 Management of shortages, remainders and substitutions
 System of alerters on criticality thresholds
 Inter-site transfer management

Two components belong to the Supply Chain Management family :

To allocate orders to distribution centres,

For the optimisation of stock levels and supply management.

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
The Warehouse Management solutions aim to optimise all of the distribution platform’s logistic processes,
from goods-in to dispatch, ensuring the perfecting of numerous techniques and is made up of three
Warehouse Management Software packages (WMS):

LM Order Manager is a logistic flow, multi-site decision-making management software package

which uses a unique interface with the commercial management system.

Fully integrated into your information system, LM Order Manager plans goods reception by site, manages
the global computing stock, the inter-site transfers, as well as the stock in transit.

Directly interfaced with the ERP, LM Order Manager is the central tool for scheduling site activity. An
important function, it deals with the distribution of Preparation Order lines as well as their consolidation
using a global Preparation Order on the different sites concerned.

Fonctionnalities

 Flow and stock tracking

 Order reservation and allocation
 Inter-site transferts
 Customer returns
 Business Intelligence

A response to the daily stock level optimisation factors
Based on an analysis of the history of goods flow, the stock is broken down into
rotating stock; to respond to current demand, in safety stock; to respond to the
hazards of demand, in over-stock and in obsolete stock. The aim of LM Stock
Optimizer is to get rid of these over-stocks and obsolete stock taking service
rates required for each product and product behaviour into account (regular,
semi-regular, irregular, seasonal etc.). The cost of keeping stock constitutes a
major part of logistic costs. The management of this stock responds to two
distinct and relatively opposing logics : that of supply service and commercial
service. However the relationship between the capital tied up and the service rate
is the key factor in stock optimisation.

A potential to reduce stock by 10 to 40%
By integrating all of the constraints linked to sales forecasts, supply deadlines and
the desired availability rates into one system, LM Stock Optimizer deals with
your daily work leaving you to concentrate on the management of exceptions. LM
Stock Optimizer assists you in making decisions, forecasting replenishment
requests, reducing the NWC and reducing stock. Thanks to a very short
implementation period, you get a fast investment return.

Complete functionalities for complete monitoring

 Sales forecast
 Supply calculation
 Specific management for slow and erratic products
 Management of new products
 Management of strategic stock
 Commercial action management
 Simulation & report
 Multi-site solution
