Guide sheet for key questions on the review of children’s congenital cardiac services in

England response form

The most important questions to answer are listed below with reasons for supporting Option B. You may
wish to respond to the other questions (1-6, 8-10, 15-17) as well but if you don’t have time, please return
the form part filled - it is still valid.

• The Oxford- Southampton partnership provides a model of joint working between centres
• Patient choice is a fundamental principle of the NHS. Patients will travel to quality centres
undertaking complex surgery with good survival rates
