Work in coordination with Budget, Operations, Maintenance, and Constructi on, Design/Engineering and Office of Contract Acquisition sections as need to co ordinate activities concerned with project technical development, scheduling, an d resolving contract maintenance problems. Manages and oversees for OPEFM a desi gnated number of projects, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. * Performed review and analysis of proposals from contractors, construction ser vices, and claims from architects, engineers, and contractors of a designated nu mber of OPEFM contracts. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT AS A PROJECT MANAGER. * Have completed Public School Facilities Improvements Projects at several Washi ngton DC area high schools such as: Woodrow Wilson SHS, Dunbar SHS, Ballou, Roo sevelt, and Coolidge involving millions of dollars. * Initiated ongoing school facilities modernization for 184 District of Columbia Schools, supervised, and have completed upgrades to facilities mechanical, elec trical, architectural, and alternative energy systems for about sixty seven DC s chools for efficient operation. June 2006-Dec 2006 DC EGULATORY AGENCY- Facilities Construction Plans Reviewer. * Reviewed, approved or rejected construction plans for residential, commercial, and specialty buildings in the District of Columbia. Ensured that submitted con struction plans are in compliance with ICC, and applicable DC construction Code s. 2005-June 2006 FACILITY IMPROVEMENT AND ENERGY SYSTEMS. A full time engineering consultant for Alliance Management Systems. * Worked on multiple federal governments immigration facilities throughout the c ountry and Puerto Rico- compiled reports and recommendations for improving these facilities. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
* Involved in long term/short term multi-year facilities design, construction, a nd rehabilitation and maintenance program throughout NASA. Involved in a $12M, 4 year BLD 23 rehabilitation project along with a long term 20 year building mode rnization master plan for NASA's 50 major buildings. Designed, installed, and m aintained HVAC systems with VAV, and DDC Controls for Spacecraft design, test , integration, and assembly areas as well as for offices, labs, and fabrication shops. Performed extensive facilities energy audit, and incorporated energy savi ngs and alternative energy sources into facilities long term master plan. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT. * Prepared facilities and equipment condition assessment index using Plexus crit eria and generated various levels of construction projects funded through US con gress. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION. * Managed facilities contract administration for the Reliability Centered Operat ion and Maintenance Program. Resolved mechanical systems/equipment issues to enhance operations. Provided engineering/planning support to various discipl ines within NASA's facilities management group.
