Duties: QC Inspector on the Tier Team and Class 7 yard. Material classification
in Retrograde Section. Perform classification and verification, inspections of a
ll material and equipment received into the Retrograde Class 7 Yard. Provide a c
omplete overview of equipment status. Inspect equipment and assess the condition
thereof to determine the correct procedure: i.e. the proper condition code and
estimation of man hours (tier level) required for repairs, send Stateside for re
pairs, or send to DRMO, using milispecification TB Complete all forms required b
y each specific assessment Perform technical inspections in accordance with the
proper TM, TB and TACOM Point Sheet to determine whether equipment meets REFURB
or RESET conditions. Determine whether equipment is not repairable at this locat
ion but is repairable (F(NRTS). If unrepairable, (Code H) complete form 465-1, D
A Form 2404. In light of expenditure limits (percentages allowed), complete FED
LOG pricing of all parts required for repair. Complete Form 2404 for equipment n
ot covered on Point Sheets. As part of initial inspection team, check AWARD for
vehicle status before inspection. Perform a complete inspection using proper man
uals, TB, AR and a complete road test. Note all faults on DA Form 2404. Order al
l parts needed for repair in accordance with the VOC code. In progress inspectio
ns using AWARDS to verify vehicle status. Track status of ordered parts. Update
forms to reflect repairs done. Generate additional 2404's for additional faults
found during inspection. Perform final FMC inspection verifying the correction o
f all faults and the existence of proper paperwork, done in accordance with all
regulations and AR, TB. Road test equipment, noting repairs completed and all co
rrected dead-line faults. Submit all paperwork with QC Form 21-1 to QA.

Assess, repair and maintain APS-5 Team equipment including FMTV Systems, HMMV
Systems, LMTV Systems, Ml I 3A3 Systems, M9ACE Systems, M88-M88A1 Systems,
Trailer Systems, HET Systems, HEMTT Systems, PLS Systems, AVLB Systems,
M1O9AG Systems, Bradley Systems (M2/M3, M7, BEIST), M57 Systems, Scraper
Systems, Dozer Systems, Scoop Loader Systems, Road Grader Systems, Mine Roller
Systems, MI Systems. Conduct inspections and verify defects, performing proper
maintenance in accordance with TM TB. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs in

cedures and use of 2404 VSE TM, as well as the A3 Bradley and BFIST maintenance

CE, excavator, and M48/M60. Conduct hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical troubles
hooting. Perform operational checks and adjustments as required. Determine exact

sure tester, and various measuring devices. Perform duties of Platoon Sergeant a
nd Motor Sergeant. Oversee equipment repair and status, including all forms and
associated paperwork. Supervise and facilitate proper licensing of all personnel
for the various types of vehicles. Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs of v
ehicles, keeping them operational. Overhaul and rebuild as needed, including fue
l pump, transmission, transfers and all major components. Perform all duties of
Inspector of DS/GS maintenance shop, including the use of test equipment and dia
