payroll & sales), I use a computer utilizing Excel worksheets & other Company wo
rksheets and other software to complete the audits. Tools utilized include Sage.

Jan 1, 2006 thru May 15, 2008 - Independent Premium Auditor performing workers'
compensation audits for Independent Audit Companies as a Contract Premium Audito
r in the Portland, Oregon metro area. Examination of company payroll, sales info
rmation is performed. Such records as payroll registers, payroll history reports
, general ledgers, cash disbursements, Federal 941's, Oregon Quarterly Reports a
nd other financial reports are examined to determine the final premium for the i
nsured's workers compensation policy or general liability policy. I do both Gene
ral Liability & Workers Compensation audits. During this period I worked on a co
ntract basis with Mr. Frank Maloney of Maloney & Associates. I performed audits
for SAIF through Maloney & Associates in the Portland Metro Area and in Southern
Oregon in field assignments that took me to Medford.
1977 to 1999 and 2003-2005 - Independent Premium Auditor doing independent premi
um audits for insurance and audit premium audit companies (General Liability and
Workers' Compensation audits)
In Northern California. Based in Redding I worked the territory from Sacramento
to the Oregon border and also into Southern Oregon. My territory included Eureka
, CA to Reno, NV also.
1999 to 2003 - Premium Auditor for Overland Solutions based out of Redding, CA
I worked Northern California from Yuba City to the Oregon border and from Fort B
ragg, CA to Crescent City, CA along the coast. I was first hired as a part-time
auditor, then full time.
1989 to 1997 - Senior Premium Auditor for The Hartford - W.C. & G.L audits were
performed by me in my territory based out of Seattle and included Washington, Or
egon and Idaho.
1986 to 1989 - Resident Premium Auditor for Royal Insurance in Seattle, WA.
I was responsible for screening the monthly expirations deciding which ones were
to be physically audited and which ones were to be audited by voluntary reports
and subbing out the remainder to independent premium auditors. Besides the offi
ce, I did physical audits in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.
My travel to Alaska would be every two months and I would audit the Anchorage an
d Fairbanks areas for two weeks at a time for a period of three and one-half yea
rs.
1985-1986- Assistant Regional Audit Manager for Mission Insurance company in San
Francisco, CA
I was directly responsible for 9 premium auditors located up and down the West C
oast. I set up a Premium Audit Quality Assurance Program to improve timeliness,
productivity and quality of audits. I was also responsible for premium auditors'
performance evaluations, and would approve their expense accounts, and would vi
sit them twice a year for purposes of evaluating their performance as well as to
give them helpful advice to improve their production and quality of audits.
1982-1985 - Royal Insurance - San Francisco, CA - Premium Auditor
I audited both G.L. and W.C. audits in the San Francisco Bay Area.
1982 - Insurance Agent - Sold Life Insurance, Auto Insurance for John Hancock I
nsurance working out of the Federal Way office in Washington State.
1977 to 1982 - Commercial Union Assurance Companies Branch Auditor - Seattle, WA
I audited both W.C. and G.L. audits in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho a
nd Utah.
This was a promotion from the previous San Francisco position.
1976 to 1977 - Premium Auditor for Commercial Union Assurance Companies
Audited both W.C. & G.L. audits in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and La
ke Tahoe-Reno areas.
This was a promotion from the previous position of Audit Checker inside the offi
ce.
1973 to 1976 - Audit Checker (inside review of the audits) - Commercial Union As
surance Companies - San Francisco.
I reviewed the audits of the outside premium audit staff for purposes of billing
the audits. My position required that I calculate the policy rates as well.
