Continental Airlines, Inc., Marketing and Distribution
Director of Distribution, e-Commerce, and Loyalty - 2008 to present
* Managed industry relations, defined worldwide distribution strategy, controlle
d $300 million in annual credit card fees/distribution intermediary expenses, gu
ided Continental's frequent flier program (OnePass), integrating various marketi
ng programs/procedures with United Airlines during our merger and with the STAR
Alliance member carriers during the creation of our Atlantic and Pacific joint v
entures, developed website (continental.com) partners , and used my team of prof
essionals to better target corporate resources to higher payback opportunities.
That team was comprised of 14 marketing/financial/technical professionals.
Sr. Manager of Distribution and e-Commerce - 2005 to 2008
* Drove intellectual property management and control, form of payment strategy,
website and online agency partnership development, and created the mechanism to
develop and manage open technical standards for e-commerce applications within t
he travel industry. Served as the business development manager for Marketing an
d Sales Distribution. Controlled the centralized analytical/reporting resources
for the Marketing Division. Added $30 million per year to the company's botto
m line by developing a network of travel supplier partners.
Manager of Planning & Analysis - 2000 to 2005
* Acted as the group controller/chief administrative officer in charge of all ad
ministrative functions and issues including human resource/payroll, salary negot
iation, organizational structure, facilities, technical resource prioritization/
allocation, and management support. Responsible for the annual, three, and five
year distribution plans, market analysis, technology change/adoption estimates,
and stakeholder communications.
Project Manager - 1996 to 2000
* Managed electronic commerce projects such as developing industry-wide XML stan
dards, establishing/participating in the Air Transport Association's Electronic
Marketing Committee, electronic ticketing, airport self-service kiosks, the Cont
inental.com website, and corporate extranets. Primary focus was to reduce distr
ibution and back-office expenses by leveraging technology. Reduced annual expen
ditures by over $500 million.

Continental Airlines, Inc., Finance Division


Technology Division Controller - 1993 to 1996
* Matrixed member of both the Technology and Finance Divisions with responsibili
ty for the financial/administrative aspects of the company's vast technology ini
tiatives. Annual budget was $100 Million. Directed a staff of finance/accounti
ng professionals whose responsibilities include contract negotiation, accounting
, equipment financing, and invoice processing. Key member of the management tea
m responsible for negotiating the first multi-year outsourcing agreement for tec
hnology services in the airline industry with an ultimate value of over $1 billi
on. Implemented a new international data network service that both modernized t
he network and produced a $2 million cost savings.
Manager of Cost Analysis and Control - 1991 to 1993
* Provided both cost analysis and project budget management for a corporate task
force established to restructure business processes including 40+ automation an
d process improvement projects using client/server and mainframe technology to p
roduce a bottom line impact of $85 million annually.

* As a member of the centralized Financial Planning Department, performed financ
ial analysis for special projects, financial/tax audits, equipment acquisition/d
isposition, equipment financing analysis and negotiations, contract review, acco
unting, capital and expense budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis,
reporting, and personnel administration functions. Carried out cross-division
al project analysis, revenue forecasting, corporate performance analysis and con
solidations, preparation of reports for Board of Directors meetings, and busines
