Having worked in the aerospace and medical device manufacturing industries, I am
well aware of the challenges that go along with being in highly competitive fie
lds. Seemingly overwhelming projects do not intimidate me, as I see those with
the greatest room for improvement. I have a large knowledge base of many manufa
cturing processes, quality systems and employee/customer interaction. I have wo
rked extensively managing Lean Six Sigma projects in the past, in both the medic
al and aerospace fields with my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
 
As the attached resume will demonstrate, I am an engineer with supervisory exper
ience and over ten years experience in production/process engineering and Lean S
ix-Sigma implementation. During the last six years, I was the primary process en
gineer in the new product development team and have implemented nearly a dozen n
ew products with a lean approach. In that time, I have made many quality improv
ements to current products and product lines to provide higher performance and r
epeatability. I have most recently worked implementing statistical process cont
rol for critical machining operations, including implementation of an automated
dimensional inspection system.
Prior to that, I headed up the Continuous Improvement Team at an FAA certified f
acility. As my resume will demonstrate, the team, under my guidance, made signi
ficant improvements in many areas of manufacturing, quality and office transacti
ons. In addition my role in continuous improvement, I was also the production e
ngineer for several programs, which also included extensive supervisory experien
ce.
 
For over 10 years, I have worked in FAA or FDA regulated facilities and I unders
tand the documentation rigor and responsibility that comes with a position in th
ese fields. I am thoroughly versed in all aspects of technical data interpretat
ion, documentation creation and working with the governing bodies. I feel I can
strongly incorporate my past history with my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to help
drive meaningful and lasting change.
