We have several more teams coming this summer to minister in Guatemala and El Salvador.
There are many new and exciting ministry opportunities that we are now envisioning and exploring. We are seeking God for direction and to lead us in the ministries that He would have us invest in.

Dont worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all He has done. Then you will experience Gods peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-8

A Lesson Learned
In our small group, we did a short little program to minister to the children, and finished it off with an interactive retell of the story of Noahs Ark. Well, after we retold this story, we asked the children in the group if they would like to pray with the team. Then, this 4 year old little girl stands up, walks over to me, and says, I want to pray for the group. I was so stunned that this little girl was so brave and so willing to step out and pray for the group. I wasnt sure what was going to come out of her mouth, but I let her go, and this is what she asked for
You are never too young, too old, or too unequipped to lead someone to Christ.
Recently, with the team, we worked with a Pastor in Chimaltenango, Guatemala who once a week feeds and ministers to a large group of ultra poor families from the surrounding area. The majority of families that attend this program are single mother families, and over 100 people regularly attend. On this particular day, we divided all the people up in groups, and each of our team members worked with the children in small groups. In our small group, something happened that I didnt quite expect which taught me a very valuable lesson about fear and inadequacy

Dear Jesus, please help all of us to have good families. Please help all of us in school. Please help all of us to wake up early in the morning to pray. Please help us not be sick. In Jesus name, Amen.
I was so stunned to see how this little girl was so strong to lead her friends in prayer, and it showed me no matter who you are, you are never too young, too old, or too unequipped to lead someone to Christ. This was such a great lesson for myself and others when we feel afraid or unable to do something big for God no matter what it may be.

Praise God that we finally are doing much needed restoration work on our base in Guatemala. Parts of it were in pretty bad shape, but we are moving along with many projects to make it better than it has ever been. Here the team is mixing concrete that we poured to make the flooring on the second level. Pray that the work is able to be continued, so that the goals the ministry has for the base can be accomplished.
Playing basketball with a local school after an outreach. Their school team destroyed us!!!! It was so much fun fellowshipping with the school after we shared the Gospel.
Just a cute baby at one of our outreaches. We just thought he was worth adding to the newsletter. :)
Uninvited Guest...
This is just one more fun, adventurous part of living on the missions field!!!! This little guy showed up one night in our living room, hanging on the window curtains. We just had to laugh about it, and just praise God for all the wonderful things He does in our lives, despite poisonous animals chilling by the window in our house. hahaha!!!!
Well, thats whats happening with us and the ministry. Its been a great year filled with challenges and triumphs and lessons at every corner. God is so faithful everyday, and we are so thankful for all that He is doing in our lives and the lives of so many around us. Please keep us and the teams in your prayers this summer. There is so much to do, but we know that God is faithful and will lead us in all that we endeavor in. Thank you all so much for your constant prayers and support. We know and see everyday how much of an impact they make, and we truly could not do what we do without each and every one of you. God bless you all!!!! Doug and Danielle
