Shavuot Pentecost 2011 Lev. 23: 17 21.

Shavuot occurs during the 3rd month of the Hebrew Calendar Sivan a.k.a. Teumim or twins, since it appears during the constellational sign of Gemini, the Twins. Although it speaks of twins, two distinct, separate, yet similar individuals, in fact, it is speaking of Adam & Eve The Husband and Bride, who are made one - in the Betrothing at Sinai! The concept of twins is also seen in the two stone tablets written upon by the finger of YHVH. Yet there is another contrasting example seen in Gen. 25:24, where Rebecca has twins in the womb Jacob & Esau that, though twins, struggle as polar opposites in Torah. The root of teumim, is #8382, taam, to be double, to couple, to be joined as in a matched pair. The Tav prefix indicates, 3rd person, future tense I will, while the Aleph-Mem, em, is the Hebrew word for mother. This could infer the concept of seed being produced from these Twins, who are coupled together in intimacy!
I.

This 3rd month Sivan is connected with the Tribe of Zebulon, #2074, Zbuwluwn, translated exalted. It is from the root, #2082, zabal, to dwell with (the idea of conjugal intercourse being conveyed) the Vav-Nun suffix appended denotes a smaller version of the root, in this case, zabal. Could it infer the idea of conjugal relations between individual husbands and wives as a way of reiterating or consummating the wedding covenant? I think so! However, we must remember there is always a dual meaning dependant upon ones relationship to Torah: The gematria of Zebulon, (Zayin-7, Beit-2, Vav-6, Lamed-30, Vav-6, Nun-50 =101, is the same as alah, above, over, to go up, ascend and is cognate with #5929, ` aleh, the word for fig leaf, the instrument used to cover Adam & Eve after they have a conjugal relationship with the Serpent in Gen. 3:7. Lets dissect this verse to see if it adds clarity to our understanding. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. The eyes Ayin (gates, womb) of both were opened and

They, #1992, hem, a personal pronoun meaning, they, these, them, who: But it also conveys in its verbal form, to murmur, roar, howl in a strong emotional sense. Knew, #3045, yada, to know in an intimate sense, sexually. Naked, #5903, ` eyrom, naked, without clothing, no covering. Sewed, #8609, taphar, to sew, mend what is torn. If we break the word apart, the Tav prefix indicates, future tense: you shall, we shall. The Two-letter root, Pey-Resh, par, means a bull, what is offered as a sin offering, burnt offering. Fig, #8384, t'en, a fem. noun, meaning fig, fig tree. But it is also spelled the same as #8385, Taanah, to be in heat, an occasion for copulation. The right or set time for intimacy! Ironically, I personally believe Adam & Eves encounter with the Serpent took place on the 10th of the month Tishri, making it the Day of Atonement. The fertile stage of the womans cycle can begin 4 days before Ovulation, which is the 14th of the cycle corresponding to the phases of the Moon. The full moon being sundown the 14th beginning the 15th (which would have been Tabernacles at that time) while Adam would have been created on the 1st day of Tishri, at the Sliver of the Moon. Another way of looking at the word Teen, shows the Tav as a future tense, you shall, and the word Aleph-Nun-Hey, anah, to bring about, cause, and also to deceive. Thus, you shall bring about deception. Leaves, #5929, ` aleh, to go up, ascend (cognate with Olah, the lifted up offering) to grow, shoot forth. The root, Ayin-Lamed, can also mean to yoke with shame, humiliation. Together, #8609, taphar, *see note above. Made themselves, #6213, ` asah, to make, to accomplish, as in performing an activity with a moral obligation in mind. *Note the two-letter root, Shin-Hey, Seh, the word for Lamb, while the Ayin infers, to see perceive. They were providing for themselves a false covering that could only be seen in the Lamb! Aprons, #2290, chagowr, aprons, a loincloth to cover the area of procreation. If we break it apart, we see #2282, Chet-Gimmel, hag, meaning a feast. It also denotes to reel, whirl, thus conveying the feasts as something that goes round & round, in addition to: #219, orah, a fem. noun meaning light, splendor. It also conveys the quality of living: (Isa. 26:19) where the idea of resurrection from the dead is conveyed!

All of these words tell us in the Hebrew:

Their womb having been exposed, they roared in anguish knowing their sexual tryst had left them naked and without a covering from YHVH. They knew the Day of Atonement was at hand and in order to repair the breach made by their sexual lusts a sin offering was required. Their deceit yokes them further with shame and humiliation as they attempt to offer for themselves a fleshly covering that could only be seen in the Blood of the Chag ha Pesach, Passover, Lamb, they covered their doorposts/loins with an apron of false light, hoping they would be resurrected by it from the dead! What does this have to do with Shavuot? Here you have, summed up, the condition of Israel, who like Adam and Eve, become harlots while in Egypt, needing the Lambs Blood for redemption, and the exchanging of garments the carnal fig leaf of the Harlot, for that of the Righteous Bride! Here you also see the ritual of circumcision first being revealed and how significant it is to the Shavuot Celebration. Lets look. To begin with were told in Gen. 2:24 that Adam & Eve are to be One Flesh. Hmmm? What have we been missing? One, #259, ' echad, it means one, FIRST. In its verb form it means to go one-way or another, describing the actions of the Lords Sword. Flesh, #1320, basar, flesh. It also means to bring news, bear tidings. If we break the word apart, we see Beit-Shin, the Hebrew word for Shame, Buws. The Resh indicates the Head, the chief. Adam & Eve were the first CIRCUMCISED COUPLE, THEIR ACTIONS WERE TO BE THE CRUX OF THE GOOD NEWS GOSPEL / SO THAT THE HEAD WOULD NOT HAVE SHAME! [The Rabbis teach Adam was created already circumcised]. Circumcision reveals the procreative intent of YHVH to produce Yahweh -like seed, in the earth. The male anatomy, though perversely treated Vis a Vis its association with Adams Shame, was intended to represent the UNCOVERED HEAD of Adam Covered with the LIGHT of YHVH! Mans anatomy became the vehicle for physical seed being passed along. But there is a spiritual connection as well. Seed Word Light are synonymous. Adam

and Eve exchange the Covering of Light for that of the Fig Leaf from the Carnal Tree! *Note the word for Foreskin, the part removed during circumcision: Gen. 17:14. And the uncircumcised man-child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. Remember the word flesh, basar, Buws R, Shame to the head. Foreskin, #6190, ` orlah, foreskin, but notice: The same root letters as the word for LEAF! Ayin-Lamed-Hey, with the Resh inserted. This verse could read: The Man-Child who has brought shame to his head, by having the leaf as his head covering shall be cut off! Cut Off, #3772, Karat, to be cut off, to make a covenant. The root stem, Kaf-Resh, means a male lamb. While the Tav infers covenant. Thus, one who is shamed must have the Lamb cut off for him or he is himself cut off! Elijah was fed by a Brook (1Kings 17:3) called Cherith the place where the Lamb was cut off for the Covenant! We will be carried into the wilderness again where we will cross this Brook to be circumcised BEFORE BEING ALLOWED AT SINAI. The Sin of Adam caused his head to be made a shame, thus requiring blood to be shed a Circumcision! From that time forward, all Adams seed had the seat of their procreative ability the Head covered by the flesh leaf of Carnality! The Sword of Gen. 3:24 becomes the tool of circumcision No one is allowed access to the Garden, the intimate, Most Holy Place, without being circumcised! This is why Yahshua cursed the FIG TREE; Yahshua is the SWORD OF THE WORD THE ONE WHO CIRCUMCISES THE FLESH! Circumcision reclaims the ECAD ONE, The FIRST ONE! *Note the gematria of Firstborn, 228, the same as Bikkur the word for firstborn and also for Etz Chaim, Tree of Life. Without circumcision, the firstborn is cut off from the Tree of Life.

II.

Shavuot is known to the Christian community by its more western name of Pentecost, a Greek word meaning 50, thus establishing the correct timing of this Commanded Pilgrimage Feast, 50 days after Pesach or Passover. The Hebrew term, Shavuot, although less familiar, conveys the same, as the term is rendered Weeks or literally, a week of weeks, I.E. 49 days, with the 50th day the day of celebration.

Adding the Vav-Tov as a suffix gives us the plural of this word. Literally, a week of weeks 7 wks. 49 days. Lets examine its Hebrew etymology: When this word is used to describe this festival the Vav-Tav suffix is added to make it plural - Shavuot. However, the word conveys, in addition to weeks, the idea of an oath. An oath is considered an unbreakable contract in Torah in fact as a blood Covenant, death was the punishment for breaking it. Other cognate words include, #7617, sabah, to take captive, to go into exile. This captures the Idea of Shavuot the captive bride who went into exile for her rebellion, her death was required (Messiah ransomed her) and at the end of the SHABUWA 7 days, 7 wks. 7,000 yrs. she is to be restored in a Jubilee! This is why the Sabbath is crucial to the Bridal rehearsal! It is a weekly symbol of our having been ransomed by the Blood! The Numeric value of Shabuwa, Shin-300, Beit-2, Vav-6, Ayin-70 = 378, the same as #4403, malbuwsh, malbus, a masc. noun for clothing, robes, attire. If we break it apart, the Mem-Lamed infers to be full, complete, while the Beit-Vav-Shin spells #954, buwsh, to be ashamed, to act shamefully. Thus, the goal of Shavuot is to allow the Adulterous Bride (whose shame was made full, complete) to exchange those garments for Bridal wear! Ex. 19:10! It is no accident that Father calls our attention to the Shavuot Week of Weeks or 49 days. 49 is gematria of Tleh, Lamb/Ram or Aries Nissan, 1st month, while 50 Nun is seen in the 2nd month, Shor, Iyar Shin-Resh, 50(0). The gematria of the 3rd month, Teumim, #8380, 497 = ,the same as a word USED ONLY ONCE: mal'akuwth, and translated as #4400, a message from YHVH. The Place? HAGGAI 1:13, #2292, Chaggay, MY FEASTS.

Thus, the Lamb/Ram ransomed us to life and liberty-Jubilee the message of MY FEASTS! What was that message of Haggai from YHVH?
