ONLINE LEARNING

Online learning means student need to be able to navigate into all the destinations in the internet world and into the providers MyVLE systems to manage the learning resources, the materials and the assessment instructions and all the forms required. For elderly learner, with inadequate digital and software technology, plus the unfriendly systems that is supposed to help instead poses more burden for student, added with the untailored student support system, finds it a real obstacle for her or him before he or she could really proceed to the learning proper. Thus it is greatly hoped that all the strategies suggested in the write up, will be looked into seriously for the improvement of the learning achievement and also for the institutions performance and success.

THE THREE MAIN PROBLEMS & THE STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME THEM.

PROBLEMS STRATEGIES Identify the students especially the elderly ones, who need the knowledge. Equip them with the required co-requisites knowledge prior to Tutorial 1. Equip the computers with the required softwares. Make the system more user friendly by enabling the system to self-guide and propel the student, instead of the student propelling through the system. Set up a more effective means of providing student support.
