This 20 or 28 lesson per week course covers all the main skills
and language areas, with a focus on fluency and effective
communication. With start dates every Monday and variable
lengths of course, this a flexible option for students.
You have an opportunity to audit a Merrimack College class when
taking the intensive course. This gives you the experience of an
actual American college class.
embassy diploma of english
This is a nine-month course of 20 or 28 lessons per week offering
progressive language development and related academic studies.
Students are provided with a valuable language qualification and
can articulate into enrolment at a range of partner universities.
Courses start in September, January and April.
embassy semester of english
For students with less time and a higher level of English, this course
offers six months of study with the option to choose a Standard or
Intensive program. Courses start in September, January and April.

merrimack college transition program
The Merrimack College Transition Program allows you to move
gradually into your regular Merrimack College courses while
continuing to improve your language skills. You are conditionally
accepted into a 5 year Merrimack College program. It's the
opportunity of a lifetime.
toefl/toeic exam preparation
We offer Intensive, 28 lesson per week courses providing expert
tuition in the skills you need to achieve your best in TOEFL and
TOEIC examinations. You’ll be guided through the techniques
required, and take practice papers to build confidence and language
ability. Courses start most Mondays throughout the year.

auditing college classes
If you plan to continue your education at an American college, or
simply would like the experience of academic study in a liberal arts
college, we can arrange for you to audit classes without credits at
Merrimack College. Popular classes include IT, business, engineering
and education.
summer vacation programs
Enjoy all New England has to offer with our summer language
programs. With 20 lessons of language preparation per week, we
also offer organized excursions and activities daily, as well as a full
board meal package.

By car: Route 93 North to exit 41, Route 125 to Andover/North

Andover. At the lights at the intersections of Rts. 114 and 125,
take a left onto Rt. 114 North. At next light, take left, entrance to
campus is on the left. Approximately 25 minutes to campus.
By train: Andover trains depart from North Station in Boston.
The college is a 20 minute walk or short cab ride from the
station.
