Honor your Father

astors Corner Brother Brandon Baird

Quint Varner, Chairman Deacons Ministry June is the month that we honor our Fathers. As we honor our earthly fathers this month, let us not forget to honor our heavenly Father. Our Heavenly Father provides all we need. He loves us so much that He gave His only son to die for us. What greater love could a Father give. As we celebrate Fathers Day, be sure to thank our Father above for all He has done for us. Quint Varner, Chairman

June 2011 run. The second night will be about our attitude. A bad attitude can cause you to lose sight of your goal. A good attitude can keep you on track when times get tough. Finally, the last night will be about receiving our reward. We cant earn our way to Heaven, but once we accept His salvation and we do get to Heaven, what more could we ask for than to have Jesus reward us with an eternal crown? But even then, I think even more wonderful will be laying those crowns at Jesus feet. I hope everyone will want to participate. It takes us all to make it happen. Even if you cant be there, please know that your prayers are needed just as much. Pray now that God will begin preparing the hearts of all who will attend. I hope we have many professions of faith, but if we just have one, wont it be worth it! Remember, start now praying that God will show you what role He wants you to fill during VBS. We know that it takes us all working together to make it happen.

STORY TIME (Will be dedicated to our young people and their stories) Please turn in a Bible story written by someone young. After all, the best stories are, out of the mouths of babes. Deaf Man Speaks There was a man that was deaf and he couldnt hear, speak or talk but one day Jesus came to visit they were in a along place and Jesus took his fingers and put in the mans ear and mouth and he could hear, speak and talk and his first words could have been thank you Jesus.
